Sacred Forest Grove

A place beyond imagination, a place where no human may enter. It was a sacred place, a realm untouched by the mortal realm. Trees as far as the eyes can see, a shade of green blended the environment together into a blur. The color green is so prominent that it is impossible for your eyes to focus on any far away details. Streams of water seem to randomly plague the ground, cutting through the overgrown forest. The plants have special chemicals in them that allow them to produce small white lights, giving the appearance of flashing fireflies all throughout the treeline. The canopy of the trees were high up in the air, the leaves and branches are thick and spread far apart, but they allow for many streams of light to bask the forests floors. However, there are shadows in each area the light can not reach. All and all, a calm atmosphere with very few animals. The footing is solid and it is easy to move around. The grass is tall and light. The area is a mysterious sight.

It was a damp morning, the early dawn followed evening showers and the ground was wet to the touch. A single man stood in what seemed to be a grove within the deep dense forest. The thick grass which blanketed the land stung the man’s toes with cool sensations as he curled them over the brim of his ninja sandals. He was a learned man, and he was not in this place by mistake. A place of such wonder, untouched by human hands in centuries. It was a place of wisdom, a place that could tell a story. If a tree were to fall in this place, it very well might not make a sound. It was so tranquil that the man standing within it was completely at peace. His reason for coming? The man was ancient and wise, ancient not measured by years but by the knowledge his mind could fathom. Some would call him dangerous, some a savior. What was he to himself one might think. It was safe to say he didn't think too highly of his existence for you see, he could not let go of the past. He had made many a mistake, and some things could not be forgiven. No matter how many lives he saved, or countries he lead to peace, he could not bring back those who lay dead at his feet. His entire clan, gone in the blink of an eye. That one cool autumn night in the cloud the Tengu clan was reduced to but one heir. Hinote Shin. Dawn had just shone its warm face as the sun peaked over the horizon. It was customary to battle at dawn, respectful and thrilling. Hinote Shin was a man of tradition, and a man of mystery. It was on this occasion that he had invited someone very close to him to meet in this sacred forest grove. This place, not touched by human hands in perhaps a millennium would get its first touch today. For you see, Raiju Raijin was done with his training. Hinote had agreed for his partner in crime to leave his gaze and go off to train on his own on the condition that he meet the Tengu in this forest in one years time for another showdown. The Tengu could appreciate the value of secluded training, for he himself had dabbled time and time again. One thing was certain in his eyes; that fastest man alive, the perverted thunder beast of his very own organization, Hogasha, would have become a new person. Still Raiju, yet his battle skills would have become more refined and controlled. He expected this, and yet he meditated back onto the fight they shared so long ago in Amegakure. It was a destructive and intense battle, one that shook the very foundation of the cities skyscrapers. Hinote had become victorious that day, but that battle left a sour taste in Raiju's mouth. Though the Tengu had declared the Raijin his equal, his partner and friend would always strive to defeat him in combat from that day forward. And so brought them both to the battle that was about to transpire. Both, separated for some time, had been training from the day they parted ways. One thing was certain, it would be any even more fierce battle than before.

Hinote Shin stood in that forest grove wearing what you wouldn't call his normal attire. Raiju would remember Shin as a Tengu who hid most of his body with the long red coat. His headband, not visible today as he no longer acknowledged his alliance with any one village. From the ground up, Shin's outfit was generally the same as before. Black ninja sandals that rose up his ankles, and white wrappings than took over until they touched the cuff of his black pants. They were generic black ninja pants, easy to move around in yet durable. This is where his outfit changed however, instead of the purple chain mail top he normally would have adorned Hinote had something a bit more traditional. A lavishing Tengu top, something fine enough for a king. The top was sleeveless and kimono like, as it crossed over his chest like Japanese wear would. A few red knots of silk hung from the seams as decoration. Over it was a scarf of gold which hung around his neck and down over his breasts, each side of the sash adorned two white pom-poms each. On his arms he bore leather bracers, stitched together to resemble samurai armor. In one hand red Buddhist prayer beads were wrapped around his hand and wrist. Also around his neck Hinote wore an orange beaded necklace which came to a point where a yasaka magitama jewel hung as a pendant. As usual Hinote's brown hair hung over his left eye exposing only his right, however it was a bit longer than before and hung lower, his eyes already possessed the Gogen spiral and were calm. On his head Shin wore a red Tengu mask, and finally a katana with a red sheath hung on his waist. His Hogasha cloak was still on his person, however he had removed his arms from the sleeves and allowed the cloak to hang around his shoulders like a cape. It appeared as if nothing was holding it on his body, a person would probably surmise that a simple breeze would probably knock it away. A new feature, unknown to Raiju, was Hinote Shin's black crow wings, which were tucked under the cloak in the sleeve holes and easily held the cloak to his back. On the back of the crimson clad cloak was a black symbol with white outlines, the symbol of the Hogasha. Per usual, Hinote Shin meditated. He awaited the person known as Raiju Raijin and couldn't help but reflect on their previous battle. The tricks he used before would prove less effective this time. As a precaution he was already sensing the area around him with his Shugendo: Atman technique, in tune with the souls of those that lived in the forest. It was so quiet and peaceful, however that was about to change.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗

The morning a time of day, where many species that lived on planet earth looked forward to. It was a time of beginning that always would occur for eternity. The creatures of the day would wake up and start yet another day. While the creatures of the night would rest up for another night feeding, hunting, and whatever else they see fit. Amongst those creatures of the world were human beings. A existence that was given the gift to craft complex structures such as the pyramids. Just like any other species that existed they could reproduce to create offspring. Currently they were the most intelligent species on planet earth. They were also the most foolish and violent existence as well. Not every human was violent, cold, and merciless. There were kind souls that would sacrifice themselves. Whether it be for a beautiful flower blooming in a unusual place. Or a loved one just seconds away from losing their life. True kindness would shine through even the darkest of corridors. On planet earth existed a sacred place that no one had seen before. This place was a forest that was teeming with so much life it was overwhelming. A young man had entered this forest. There must have been some showers because damp ground was left as evidence. The thick grass and all of its dampness brushed past his feet. Shocking his toes with its cool and damp feel. The man flinched a bit from the sudden shock. He wasn't a fan of cool and damp things. In fact when it came to weather he disliked the cold. The man would prefer to a nice warm environment with zero humidity. But this was early in the morning in a forest he had never been to before. Whatever his personal preferences were, they didn't matter the slightest in this place. Of course the man loved to explore new lands and areas not many knew about. However he was not on a adventure today. That was because today was a very special day. He had received an invitation to a battle in the forest. A comrade, a rival, a partner, and a leader to him was somewhere in this forest. This person was someone who was quite powerful. One year ago they had fought a battle to confirm his loyalty to a organization his rival ran. It was a battle like no other, the likes of which no one had seen before. This battle was a battle that started him on the path to his destiny. They had fought within Amegakure in a special training area that existed. That was before their intense and destructive battle decided its fate. The man who fought in that epic battle was Raiju Raijin. A local pervert hated by the women of Amegakure. Despite that he was one of Amegakure's most skilled shinobi. What others thought of him did not matter at all. Raiju was told by Hinote Shin the man who was a descendant of the ancient Tengu Clan. To meet him in such a sacred place. In the past the Raijin was recognized as his equal. But for some reason that just didn't sit well with the Raijin. No matter how hard he tried to accept it. So he was told to train and come back in a years time for a rematch. Though this battle would be on whole other level this time around.

Thunder Mountain was the place Raiju had decided to visit. Up until the Raijin had met the Tengu. He knew nothing about such a place existing. So he had done some research after he was released from the hospital. Drake Raijin the village leader informed him about a place the elders often spoke of. Though the younger generation of Raijin thought it was just a place out of legend. No one truly believed that Thunder Mountain actually existed. The environment of Thunder Mountain was completely different from the forest the Raijin was currently in. Frequent severe thunder storms bullied the land like a bully in a school house. Heavy downpours fed the constant dry rocky ground. There were areas were vegetation grew. But one had to have the skills of ninja to scale the difficult terrain. The air was filled with vast amount of static electricity, which was responsible for the fierce thunderstorms. There was a reason why this place was a special way. A energy that existed so very long ago only existed in this sacred place. That energy was none other than the Flash Release. During the waring states era before the Raijin clan actually became the Raijin clan. They were a clan of farmers who lived off the land. One day they were driven from their land by powerful shinobi. They traveled in search of new land and came across Thunder Mountain. It was then on that their lives would change forever. Once the farmers became shinobi themselves. They had made a oath to become stronger and named themselves Raijin. Each one of them discovered they could manipulate water and lightning. When they combined the two elements they created the Storm Release. A advanced nature that would become part of their clan for generations to come. As time passed they became proficient at using that power. The farmers soon discovered they could manipulate lightning on a higher level. Their bodies shared a special trait that no other clan had. They were instructed by a Tiger named Shuji to build a stone temple to train for the Flash Release . The Raijin clan recorded their information on the stone walls of the temple. In the form of hieroglyphics with a hidden message. The Flash Release was only obtainable through mediation. Though the individual had to be of the Raijin decent. If the individual could endure the intense training coupled with mediation. They would eventually obtain the ability to control lightning more efficiently, and ultimately awaken the Flash Release within themselves. Raiju had already awakened the Flash Release before he met Hinote. By accident during his training to better control lightning release. However it was incomplete and he couldn't use it to its true potential. After searching for Thunder mountain for what seemed like days. The Raijin eventually stumbled upon the mountains secret entrance. The entrance was at the foot of the mountain. It looked like an ordinary cave with a dead end. But in truth one had to scale the rocky wall. To reach the top of the cliff that lend to another part of the cave. A long dark path that curved in some parts of it with a deadly drop below awaited the individual who dare walk this path. A light at the end of the tunnel would signify that they made it safely to Thunder Mountain. But they would still have to climb the steep path. What awaited them was the stone temple as mentioned before. Raiju had managed to make it up there undetected. However that wasn't the case at all. The tigers of the mountain recognized his chakra signature as a Raijin. Therefore they did not see him as a threat. If someone else had discovered the secret entrance. They would need to breech the invisible barrier that appeared when something made contact with it. The barrier alerted the tigers of a foreign chakra signature before the intruder knew they were detected. The barrier ninjutsu was not known by the Five Great Nations like other barrier ninjutsu were.

Raiju met a tiger named Shuji who spoke the human language. The tiger was quite old and wise. He educated Raiju about the origin's of the Flash Release and the Raijin Clan. Raiju studied the hieroglyphics on the walls of the temple to learn how to obtain the Flash Release. At first none of it seemed to make sense to him. Even the hidden message sounded completely insane to him. Shuji assured him it was the only way for him to master the Flash Release. So the Raijin trained relentlessly every day from dawn until dusk. There were days he just wanted to pass out and give up. Shuji had him perform tasks that seemed meaningless to his training. Tasks like: catching a fish with bear hands, hunting, swimming, cleaning, catching a fly, catching a chicken, and carrying large boulders. He had to carry the large boulders up and down the mountain several times. All of these things helped improved his motor skills and his way of thinking too. His strength had increased some as a result of the unique training. Now the day had finally arrived for him to shown the fruits of his labor. A years time had passed and Raiju's body had undergone some changes. His spiky jet black hair was longer and spikier than ever. Even his muscles had increased more than what they once were. The Raijin no longer had the Hogasha cloak. But it was not because he defected from the group. It simply had been destroyed during a peeping incident. He wore red samurai armor with a gold trim over his torso. A orange tiger fur apron covered the generic black shinobi pants he had bought. Almost all the way down to his knees. Red shin guards with a gold trim covered the tops of his black shinobi footwear. Two Katana with red and black hilts rested in their respective black sheaths. They were mounted on his back crossing over each other in a x-shape pattern. Finally at long last after walking what seemed like a long time through the forest. Raiju reached his destination without a hitch. He came face to face with the man. Now was the time for the fastest shinnobi alive in the Five Great Nations. To prove once more why he was known as the fastest. In a few moments the true power of the "Thunder Beast" would be revealed. The Raijin lay his eyes on his opponent, his partner, his number one rival who no one could match but him. That oh so overwhelmingly power man. Hinote Shin...

Shin's eyes opened as he felt out the presence of Raiju Raijin. Finally his friend, and partner had returned from his training. It seemed the absent minded Raijin hand't let a women stray him away from their appointment as had happened so many times before. He was glad to see that his challenge was taken seriously. "So you've come," said the Tengu as a smile curled his lips. A devious look, one custom to only a yokai plagued his face. Not purposefully, but it seemed to be a face that beckoned a challenge. Hinote Shin was a Tengu, and it was natural for them to look down on humans. Even though he had acknowledged Raiju as his equal once upon a time, things were different now. He had defeated the Raijin in combat before, in the great battle that destroyed the rain village's training ground. Following the battle both of them had sustained injury, it was only by chance that his technique reigned supreme. But it seemed that that battle was enough to slightly injure Raiju's pride, for since that battle he could sense a feeling of inferiority from his friend. Raiju had not forgotten that battle, the one in which he declared them equals. His friend, the Raijin, would continue to challenge him until he defeated the Tengu, that much was certain. So he obliged, and allowed Raiju to train for one year for this day. However, no matter how strong the Raijin had become, Shin had also improved. It would be foolish to think that in the year they were apart Hinote was lazy. He had also pushed himself, perfected his being. Hinote Shin was now a new person, safe to say completely different from that time they battled. The Tengu had discovered, and awakened a new power, one Raiju would have no idea of. Since last time, Hinote had trained his Gogen to be far more than 5 meditations to increase his power. The Gogen was more of an idea now, with three fundamental abilities which boosted his effectiveness as a shinobi. He began with the first of his new understanding, the Shugendo: Atman. Shugendo, the name for the meditation style of the Tengu clan. It was a way of becoming one with your surroundings, with nature. The Buddhist teachings state that all beings are separate, but still one in mind and body. After extensive meditation it became clear that the Shugendo: Atman was a technique that personified this fact. If everyone's soul was one he could feel them. Beyond there chakra, beyond there physical body was a spark of life that Hinote picked up on. He imaged it like a little blue flame in the deepest part of ones being that when combined with everyone's flame made one big soul ball, an orb that symbolized the soul of the entire world. So he concentrated, and the little blue flame sparked within Raiju's body. For him, Raiju was always present now, always felt in the back of his mind. He was able to feel his presence. His mind wrapped around this feeling, memorized it. This was the first of the Gogen's Shugendo meditations, a high level sensory technique.

Shugendo: Senken, the second skill of the Gogen's meditation. This was the skill probably most familiar to Raiju. It was the five heavenly eyes; the Physical, Heavenly, Wisdom, Dharma, and Buddha eye that increased his minds ability to process information. It was thanks to the Shugendo: Senken that he was able to keep up with Raiju in their first battle. Was it not for this skill, his body would not be able to react fast enough to the Raijin and he would be overwhelmed. It was because of this that he began concentrating on the Physical Eye. This meditation would open his mind, allowing for him to use 20% of his brain rather than 10% that he would normally use. To everyone else it would seem as if he was reacting twice as fast, not necessarily moving twice as fast but understanding his surroundings twice as fast. For him, he would see things twice as slow and be able to think about situations longer before having to react. Even though things seemed slower he would still think at a faster speed, allowing him to think clearly and calmly through a situation. He did not know how fast Raiju had become since their last battle, but he was certain he would have to give it his best. The third of the meditations, Shugendo: Yuuminzaigan was for Genjutsu and would prove ineffective against Raiju. With his increased cognitive ability his world seemed to become more alive. The colors of the forest popped and became clearer, the sounds and smells became more apparent, not bothering him, just understood better. It was at this moment that he knew he had finished the Physical Eye meditation and began in on his Heavenly Eye meditation. However, he would have to do so during their fight for it was time to commence. Shin called out to his friend in anticipation, "It's always been my friend!" To elaborate further he added, "This struggle between you and I, it will always be!" He paused before continuing, "You and I, pushing ourselves further and further, we better each other and in turn better ourselves. When we clash we know each other better than anyone else, we are each other's greatest foe. Raiju Raijin, you and I, here and now. It has always been, and it will always be." Hinote spread his legs to get a good footing and readied himself for combat, raising his right arm and positioning it in front of him. His left hand hovered over his katana's red sheath, just in case. His smiling, devious look got serious. His eyes narrowed and his smile frowned. If Raiju were to look on Shin with great focus he would probably say that his spiraling eyes were piercing his soul. With one final battle cry he announced, "Raiju, show me the true power of the Raijin!" The forested became eerily silent, as if the world itself was awaiting the clash of these two great ninja.

Raiju listened closely to his rivals words. Every single word the man spoke rang true in every way. It was because of fate the two had met. However this rivalry could not be put in the same category as all the others. It was far greater than the rivalry between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. Even greater than the rivalry between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. It was safe to say that, Raiju's rivalry with Hinote would top all of the rivalries that came before it. If one wanted to be a better version of themselves. Especially one who had a profession as shinobi. They needed to find someone that would bring out the best in them. That was really all there was to it. Hinote had done just that with Raiju. But now the man who had done that was right before the Raijin. Hinote's appearance was the most noticeable to Raiju besides the mans powerful chakra. If he had to guess he'd say that the Tengu must have trained like there was no tomorrow. As Raiju recalled his speed gave the Tengu some trouble. But the Tengu still had managed to defeat him despite that. During the battle on that day Raiju deduced Hinote was using a high level sensory technique. That technique was coupled with Hinote's mastery over water release. Judging from the way he had reacted to Raiju's lightning fast attacks. There was one thing that stood out the most in that battle. It was the fact that one of his attacks, got through the mans seemingly impenetrable water defense. The Storm Release: Laser Circus, a laser attack that was difficult for anyone to avoid. Not matter how much skill they possessed. The Raijin reached the conclusion that, it was possible that maybe there was something that created a opening in his defenses. The things that no ever expects in a battle. Those things were called unorthodox attacks. Normally one would expect a laser to be fired straight. Like one being fired from a laser gun in a scfi movie. Raiju's special attack allowed him to change the direction of the lasers at will. This is what caused surprise and confusion within his foes. But when dealing with Hinote Shin one really had to take themselves to higher places. A bunch of unorthodox attacks wouldn't to cut with him. Only by using ones mind to the best of their ability. Would give them some sort of hope they could survive a battle against him. All that hope would shatter into a million pieces once they were defeated though. For Raiju his pride had been damaged a bit by the Tengu. All of those in Amgegakure who called themselves believing in him quickly changed their opinions of him. Other shinobi and villagers saw him as only a pervert again. This greatly angered Raiju because, he had worked so hard to get them to acknowledge him. It felt like to him all he did was for naught. The Raijin did not bear any ill will towards Hinote for causing shinobi and villagers to change their views. He was angry at himself for not being strong enough.

Scenes from their previous battle plagued his mind, as they flashed before his eyes one after another. He saw all of the attacks he and Hinote dished out along with their destructive force. Though he couldn't recall the words they had spoken to one another. That part was blocked out from his memory. But the feelings he had that day were still fresh like it was only yesterday. His body began to tremble with excitement for being able to face his rival once more. Activity on his chakra network increased in a matter of seconds. As the chakra began to flow for the preparation a technique. The chakra natures of water release and lightning release mixed with each other within his body. The two natures he possessed formed a new nature of their own altogether. Thus the storm release, a advanced nature kekkei genkai he and his clan possessed was created. "Yes I have made it... As if a woman would keep me from this battle. I mean yeah sure I was chasing tail up until yesterday. But today is a new day and its time for me to get serious!" In a blur the Raijin weaved the tiger, dog, snake, and dragon hand seals like they were nothing. Blue toned chakra engulfed his hands in a flaming aura the moment he clapped his hands together. Raiju spread his legs to get good footing just like his partner did. Both of his hands reached for the two katana, with red and black hilts mounted on his back. He grabbed the katana's hilts and slowly pulled them out of their sheaths. It was like a suspense filled scene in a thriller motion picture. Finally he pulled the two katana out as he shifted his body into a fighting stance. "Storm Release: Laser Edge!" The Raijin called out as the katana blades became clad in a bright blueish white toned aura. The katana blades vibrated giving off a sound similar to a neon sign at a old gas station. The technique allowed Raiju's blades to easily cut through weaker metals. As well as weapons made of the same metal. While it also allowed him to fire a more condensed version of Storm Release Laser Circus. Which possessed even greater pinning power than its predecessor. Only he was restricted from controlling the lasers with his will. To change their trajectories. Hinote was unaware of this because. Raiju had never used the technique against him before. "I will show you both the power of the Raijin, and the true power of the"Thunder Beast"!!" The Raijin's golden eyes locked on to their target. With a burst of raw speed Raiju took off running like a high performance sports car with twin turbo. Racing down an open highway going from zero to sixty. "Ooooooooh!!" Raiju let out a fierce battle cry as he ran. Once he got halfway towards Hinote's position. Raiju jumped up into mid-air and performed a somersault at the apex of his jump. Then by rotating his body at high speed the Raijin barreled down on his opponent. In a matter of seconds Raiju had reacted Hinote's striking range. As he ended the somersault, he swung both his blades down vertically towards Hinote. In a attempt to possibly slice the Tengu in two with his blades power. The blades could now slice through human flesh like butter. If the attack successfully hit its intended target. The Tengu's flesh would be sliced through like butter and burned severely as well. Death would spell the end of his battle before it even truly began. But knowing Hinote's battle prowess. Raiju knew he had to step up his game to even have any chance of defeating his #1 rival. That fact remained one hundred percent true to the core.

In no time at all the battle had started. The time for talking was over, playful banter and insults held no meaning for the warriors. The only way they knew how to communicate was through their actions. Raiju and Shin we're great rivals and friends, each knowing a verity of the others moves. The moves they had learned over the last year would be what set them apart. Both not knowing the training regimen the other went through. Would Hinote Shin, the Tengu of an almost extinct clan or Raiju Raijin, the lightning fast pervert claim the prize. Victory. In order to claim victory one must never think of defeat. Hinote Shin was one of focus, he always closed any doubt of defeat from his mind. Normally Hinote would not bother himself with the thought of defeat. It was as if he always knew he could win, but when it fought Raiju it was different. Against Raiju it was harder, but still he focused on his win. His thoughts were clean and concise, no wasted effort. So the moment Raiju made the first move the Tengu was as ready as ever. He had grown accustom to measuring an opponents speed against Raiju's for his partner was the fastest shinobi he ever faced. He always envisioned that, because he beat Raiju, if someone was to move slower than him he would win without a problem. This time was no different, even though he was facing Raiju himself he dwelled on the time they had battled before. Lightning fast reflexes, quick paced attacks. Hinote analyzed the situation as his thoughts raced faster than normal. The Raijin was preparing a frontal assault, using his two swords to attack the Tengu. Each sword glowed with energy, similar to that of the storm release chakra. He had to assume that it was of that nature, because when an attack is unknown to you you must fight based on instinct. Storm release chakra would be a painful blow, thoughts of being hit by the laser circus attack flashed through his mind. As the situation wrapped around his mind Raiju pounced. Like a rabid tiger, true and with killing intent. The attack was dangerous. As he moved towards him his speed seemed to increase, yet Hinote was able to follow the movement. He had realized something, and he thought to himself in almost a mocking tone, Compared to Raiju Raijin! He moved. As Raiju swung his two swords down at the Tengu his minds quickly sent impulses to his muscles faster twice as fast as normal meaning he reacted twice as fast. Not moving faster but starting sooner. Hinote pushed off with his left leg and moved just a couple feet to Raiju's side allowing the two swords to hit the ground. A loud crack and the ground exploded around the impact, yet as the dust settled Hinote muttered for Raiju to hear, "Sorry Raiju, but compared to the Raiju Raijin I fought before, it was as if you were moving still." It was true, Raiju had not lived up to top speed he had used in the end of his battle with Shin. It was that speed that Hinote was used to and the speed he compared everyone else to. Raiju hadn't lived up to his full potential right off the bat. Speaking aloud he said, "If your not going to give me your best my friend, then this battle has already been decided." With that Hinote drew his two hands together in front of his body and flashed a verity of hand signs.

Water Style, the feeling of his most trusted style raced through his body. He drew upon the chakra and thought again to himself, Water-Heaven's Convergence. Hinote's gaze became strong and strained. The spiraling eye of that signified the Gogen was still ever present and visible to Raiju, bringing and eerie feeling to the battle. The Tengu's chakra went to work. An ever consuming water style technique, one that would remain even if blown away. It began with Shin's body, cloud like steams began to bellow off of him. His own mist, full of his chakra and might. His chakra singled out and bound to all oxygen and hydrogen it could find, and in doing so selecting only the most perfect of the molecules. The molecules it selects begins to fog up, and condense into the air as heavy deionized mist which in turn does not conduct electricity. It was pure water in a gaseous form, made possible by Hinote's chakra and the mental cognition of the Gogen. The Tengu then began to suppress his own chakra, to match his own chakra present in the mist. It quickly enveloped, and covered the area around the both of them. Hinote's Gogen remained locked on Raiju and sensed out his location with ease, and at the same time he was blended into the mist making him indistinguishable from the chakra in the mist. It was a mist so perfect, so dense, that it would feel as if Hinote's chakra was everywhere around them at once. The Tengu made himself known to all who could sense chakra. Even if an attempt to blow it away occurred, his chakra would simply find more water molecules and fill in the gaps again so quick that it would appear as if it was not blown away. Such a mist was dangerous in the dense forest, for many obstacles, like trees and holes, now acted as traps within its fog. Keeping quiet Hinote hid in the mist, moving several feet back and to the side so he wasn't where Raiju remembered, positioning himself on the other side of a small creek. He would remain quiet, and bide his time. In the mean time he allowed himself to be consumed by the Gogen meditation and focused on the Heavenly Eye of the Shugendo: Senken. With this meditation he would push himself even further beyond that of his Physical Eye. The Physical Eye enhanced his natural senses, and allowed his brain to react to things twice as fast. With the Heavenly Eye Shin would be able to utilize 40% of his brain. That meant that when the meditation was completed, he would be able to react twice as fast as the already impressive reaction time of the Physical Eye. After being able to discern and dodge Raiju's sword attack with ease, one could only imagine the top speed he could keep up with now. From what he knew of Raiju, he wasn't the best at sensing chakra, and he was a taijutsu expert to boot. Being in a mist like this was detrimental to his fighting ability and would prove to be beneficial to the Tengu.

Crash! Went the sound of Raiju's Storm Release laced blades as they impacted the ground. Raiju's attack had completely missed his rival. Well there was no surprise there really. After all the man he was currently fighting was a battle hardened shinobi. One who had endured the many hardships a shinobi had to endure. If they wanted to survive in a world where love was transformed into hatred that was fueled by rage. A low growl escaped Raiju's lips as he quickly glanced at the area where Hinote once stood. The Raijin then canceled his Storm Release: Laser Edge technique and sheathed his katanas. The technique was not of any use to him now. He fell silent for a brief moment as he listened to his friends words. "What you're saying is partly true... I have screwed up with my first attack. But the part about this battle being already decided. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrt!!! That was bullshit!" He responded to his friends words partly disagreeing with them, and making a buzzer sound effect. His golden eyes that set him apart from other shinobi suddenly widened. When he saw the hand signs Hinote was performing. A flash back of a certain technique entered his mind. It was a technique that used water in various ways to attack or defend. The Water Release: Water-Heavens Convergence was that technique. The Raijin knew it was one of his friends best techniques. No one other ninja could stand against it but Raiju. In the past during their battle Raiju had managed to force Hinote into using other techniques. At first he struggled with getting through Hinote's defenses. Once he found a opening and took advantage of it. That's when the battle had truly begun. Currently Raiju was the only shinobi to survive against such a technique. The visual jutsu within Hinote's eyes disturbed Raiju. A eerie feeling wrapped its creepy arms around his soul. Even though he had some understanding of Hinote's power. Since the Tengu had educated him in the past. He still did not understand the power completely. All he needed to understand was it was a force to be reckoned with. Their intense battle in the past proved that like solid evidence presented before a judge in court. The Raijin cursed himself as he witnessed the area becoming enveloped in a dense fog. "Damn it, its all my fault. Because I hesitated and decided not to use the Lightning Clad. I'm stuck in this stupid mist, and all I can sense is his chakra all around me. Its impossible for me to pinpoint his location with one hundred percent accuracy. My sensing abilities are limited as I'm sure he already knows. Forget the Lightning Clad... If I can't find him soon it'll be all over anyways. With that being said.. I will use this opportunity presented to me to prepare for my newest technique. Lets see how you deal with this technique when the time comes Hinote-Sama!"Said Raiju as he thought to himself and reflected on a serious mistake he had made.

As Hinote knew Raiju's speed was his greatest weapon against any opponent. Even if they were fast like him it didn't mean a thing if they couldn't be faster. Or even land a single attack on him. If they were a sensory type they needed to be of a high caliber. In order to even have some hope for landing a attack on Raiju. None of that mattered if their body couldn't keep up with his sheer speed. The time to reflect on past mistakes was over. It was time to move on and man up. Chakra began to mold within his body. Raiju placed the index and middle fingers of left and right hands together. Crossing them together like the letter "T". "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu" The Raijin muttered to himself under his breath. Five plumes of spoke appeared seemingly out of thin air. What emerged where 5 bodies that were completely identical to him. The plumes of smoke cleared almost as quickly as they appeared. Shadow Clones were the most effective clone technique to date. They could artificially bleed to confuse the enemy. Their main use was for diversions and to collect information on a foe. Once they dispersed the information would be transferred back to the user. Along with whatever chakra the Shadow Clone had left over. The user of the Shadow Clone Technique never received one hundred percent. Of the chakra back they had divided among their clones. Performing various tasks the user would normally not be willing to do. Was another task the Shadow Clones shared. However one solid enough blow could take them out in a instant. The Shadow Clones molded their Lightning Release chakra simultaneously. Flaming aura's of lightning ignited in unison with bolts of lightning dancing dangerously around them. They had all activated the Lightning Clad technique. A technique Raiju was famous for along with his speed. The technique stimulated their bodies nervous system and muscles. Allowing them to react twice as fast to danger. Like they normally would be able to. It also allowed them to use their muscles above the normal twenty percent. While also providing a defense against physical attacks. Such as weapon attacks and Taijutsu based attacks. Though large weapons attacks were potentially dangerous to the user. Weaker lightning release techniques didn't have much of a effect on the Lightning Clad user. However more powerful elemental attacks did spell danger for the user. Especially a high level lightning release technique. Which possessed the power to pierce the Lightning Clad's armor. The Lightning Clad's second best defense was its ionization ability. The molecules of harmful gases became broken down into harmless gases. The lightning then negativity charged those molecules. Resulting in them being unable to form back into harmful gases. Thus the user always had safe air to breath. As long as they were in the Lightning Clad state. The Shadow Clones speed was now equal. To someone with three eight inner gates opened. They could achieve the same speed temporarily. By using the Flash Release: Bolt Oscillation. But the technique only allowed a instanteous dance in a single direction. Plus it required charging for use. Raiju had figured Hinote probably expected him to use the Lightning Clad technique from the get go. But he was unaware if that was actually true or not.

"Ok phase one of my plan is complete. Now its time to began preparations for phase two. Locate Hinote and distract him until my jutsu is complete. You have your orders now... Scatter!" Raiju said just loud enough for the Shadow Clones to hear. Receiving his command four of the shadow clones took off in the directions of north, south, east, and west. They couldn't rely on their sense of sight. They couldn't rely on their sense of smell. They couldn't rely on their sense of taste or touch. They couldn't even rely on their sense of sound. Simply because it was possible their opponent could be sneaking around. They needed to obtain information about his current whereabouts. It had to be as quickly as they possibly could. The Shadow Clones only option was to blindly trudge through the mist. Hoping that eventually they would run into Hinote and confront him. Shortly after the Shadow Clones left the area in search of Hinote. Raiju walked over to a tree and sat down at it's base. Resting his back against the tree's trunk and shifting his body into a meditative position. He closed his eyes relaxed himself and cleared his mind. The Raijin activated his Flash Release Advanced Nature Kekkei Genkai. A special power that only the Raijin clan possessed on earth. With the power of the Flash Release. The Rajin could perform great feats. He focused on charging his Flash Release chakra and drawing in the charged particles of natural static electricity around him. The preparation for the technique he was planning on using. Required the user to remain completely still until the techniques preparations were complete. It would take some time to prepare the technique. During that time they were basically sitting ducks. That is why the Raijin left at least one Shadow Clone behind to guard his body while he meditated. If there was some sort of disturbance the Shadow Clone had to take care of it immediately. What was his friend up to? That thought floated around in his mind as he concentrated. If his friend was preparing a new technique of his own. The Raijin assumed there was a chance that. He too probably needed the time to prepare for the technique. Thus the exciting battle between Raiju Raijin and Hinote Shin continued.

The mist was thick, omnipresent, all consuming. There was no escaping the feeling of the Tengu's chakra. He was perfectly concealed in its moist air, for his chakra lingered evenly throughout it. Shin waited for the full weight of the situation to bear down on Raiju so he relaxed and gave his foe time to formulate a plan. His own plan had come to fruition, and it was just a matter of time before he struck the Raijin down. He couldn't formulate a situation where Raiju could repel the mist, only he would be able to move freely through its gripping presence. Even in it, the spark of the Raijin's soul lingered in his mind. His opponent was a short ways off, not moving much from his original position. The Tengu breathed in deeply, the cool mist air filled his lungs. He held it for a minute before exhaling a warm cloud of water vapor, a cloudy breath kissed the cool mist before fading away. The mist made the area at least five to ten degrees colder than it would have been normally. The semi-frigid touch caused goosebumps to his warm flesh. For a normal human, cool temperatures would distract them and cause them to loose focus easily. But for Hinote, his mind was clearer than ever. The longer he remained stationary, the deeper into the Gogen meditation his mind reached. He was falling, head first into the deep parts of his subconscious allowing his mind to grasp more and more of its sensory functions. The third eye was the Wisdom Eye, and it allowed Shin view the world as separate entities rather than one unified being. As he focused, Shin would be able to pick Raiju apart from the mist and focus solely on him. For him, the mist would provide no distraction, and he would be able to clearly fight Raiju while his opponent would suffer from the distraction. The Tengu opened his eyes, his mind now ready to use 60% of its total output. He would now be able to react three times faster than that of the Physical Eye and one and a half times faster than the Heavenly Eye. If Shin was able to clearly discern Raiju's first attack using only the Physical Eye, Raiju could expect him to be able to react to an attack three times that speed.

Hinote had a clear sense on Raiju, his spiritual energy and his chakra. His chakra was separate from his own. It was as if his chakra was blue and Raiju's was red, he stood out in the mist like a full moon in the night sky. He was as clear as day. However, while he was focusing on Raiju something changed. Raiju's chakra signature was quickly divided from one into six. Shin thought to himself, Shadow Clone Jutsu? His suspicion was justified as fact the moment he could only sense spiritual energy coming from one of the Raiju. Five shadow clones had emerged into the mist, probably his foe was planning to use them to comb the mist and locate him faster. No matter how many scenarios he could think of, he could not be sure of the Raijin's ploy. His safest bet would be to take out Raiju while concealing himself in the mist. A silent killing, similar to how to shinobi of the mist village would kill targets based on sound alone. He would use his ability to react to the situation with 60% of his brain and use his sensory technique to attack only the real Raiju. For this attack to be successful, he would have to fully locate his foe while distracting him to his full intent. Then, the Tengu realized something. Both Raiju and his clones were breathing in his chakra mist. His own water chakra had invaded their bodies and he could feel it slowly seeping into their respiratory and circulatory systems. The water, would slowly break down into their bloodstreams and fill them with his chakra. Their lungs, which couldn't deal with the moisture would be plagued by water chakra particles. If he wished, Hinote could manipulate this water with the Water Release: Water-Heavens Convergence and rip it from their bodies. It would be an instant kill. The Tengu would not waste such an insulting attack on Raiju himself, instead he would use this as a way to defeat each of the clones simultaneously.

Holding out his hand, Hinote took control of the mist at Raiju's back behind the tree in which he was sitting against. Shin gripped his fingers tightly as he manipulated the mist into an orb of water. There was no change in chakra and no sound made as the mist condensed into the orb. There would be nothing setting off Raiju or the clones of the orb hidden in the mist. He would have to execute all of his strikes at the same time, to maximize the confusion Raiju would feel. In the confusion he would strike his foe, the moment when he was most vulnerable. He would execute the Water Style: Replacement technique with the orb of water and destroy the clones simultaneously. The Tengu took a deep breath, and focused for a moment. He took his right hand and gripped the hilt of the red adorned Katana on his left hip and crouched into a sword drawing position. His attack would be lightning fast, and nearly undetectable. Then when he felt the moment was right he commenced his plan. Hinote Shin vanished. He replaced with the orb of water, appearing in the air behind Raiju. As he was falling to the ground the Tengu reached out with his mind and manipulated the water in Raijus clone's bodies. He caused the water to rip outwards through their lungs, tearing it through their organs and flesh. Each of the five clones would explode together, creating a loud poofing noise throughout the mist. It was loud enough to cloud the ears of both Hinote and Raiju, hiding the noise of the Tengu touching down behind the tree. As the loud noise echoed in the Raijin's ear he would strike, perfectly concealed.

In the midst of the loud noises, as well as the feeling of the clones dying experience returning to Raiju the Tengu had no doubt that his foe would be in a daze. Not only that, Hinote's chakra was present everywhere around them, there was no way to sense the oncoming of Shin. He was perfectly concealed, his attack undetectable. From Raiju's blind spot he quickly entered a crouching position and pulled on the red hilt of his katana. He preformed Iaido, an attack so fast that the human eye could not trace, an attack whose speed translated into the maximum damage a sword could deal out. Hinote thought to himself the name of the attack in which he was executing, Raijin Style: One Step Iaido! The sound of the screeching sword was completely echoed out by the dying clones poof, the speed of the attack would surely catch Raiju in his confusion. For Raiju was sitting down on the ground in a meditate position, not the best stance to take for quick movements. The sword went straight through the tree like butter, Hinote's Tengu strength carrying the sword straight through it in an instant. The sword was positioned perfectly to slice straight through the tree and right through the Raijin's neck, decapitating him. Raiju wouldn't even see it coming. In all of his plotting, if in some fluke he had to react to his foes counter attack he would be ready. If in some way he missed his kill Shin's Gogen would allow him to react right away.

Raiju continued to meditate for one of his latest techniques. The meditation was nearing its half way point. Meaning his technique would soon be half way completed. As he sat there in deep meditation, the Raijin had a flashback of the event that happened previously. The scene of Hinote speaking to him appeared before his eyes. "Sorry Raiju, but compared to the Raiju Raijin I fought before, It was as if you were moving still." There was a pause before the Tengu spoke to him once more. "If you're not going to give me your best my friend, then this battle has already been decided." The scene of the flashback ended. Raiju did not want the battle to send so quickly. He just could not allow that to happen. If that did happen, then all of his training wouldn't matter at all. Not a single thing he did would matter. Not even a little bit. Meanwhile his Shadow Clones continued their search for the Tengu. He could feel their chakra signatures the absolute best since they were his own. But suddenly all of their chakra signatures disappeared in a blink of an eye. It was obvious to Raiju what had happened. Hinote must have defeated all five of the clones Raiju had sent to search for him. The knowledge from the clones became transferred back to Raiju. Along with whatever chakra they had left. However the knowledge Raiju had gained was unclear. Apparently the clones knew they were attacked by something. But they were confused on how they were attacked. Which left Raiju with the task of figuring out how exactly they were defeated. The Raijin knew Hinote was a master at Water Release and his most favorite technique, the Water Release: Water-Heavens Convergence. So that meant Hinote probably manipulated the mist to somehow kill Raiju's clones. Raiju didn't have the time to worry about that. He was already surrounded by the technique. So who's to say the same thing wouldn't happen to him. Like whatever had happened to his clones? It started to feel chilly to the Raijin. As if it was maybe ten degrees or more colder than it was before. Raiju disliked cold weather and he quickly concluded it had to be Hinote's doing. The day was only starting. Such a sudden and abnormal temperature change like that would not go unnoticed by anyone. Where ever Hinote was, he couldn't have gone too far.

The Raijin's transformation reached its half way point. The transformation then began entering its final stages. Chakra of a yellowish color with a gold tent enveloped him in aura released as flickering flames. The aura remained in this state for awhile. Slowly, the chakra as if it had a mind of it own began doing something. The chakra had began forging itself into some sort of armor. It as unclear what the armor actually was. As the technique was still in its developmental stage before completion. The ends of Raiju's hair became dyed a golden color. Stripes that glowed a bright golden color appeared all over his body. Bolts of yellow-toned lightning began to dance dangerously around his person. Raiju could feel the changes to his body taking place from the techniques enhancement. As he focused on charging up the remaining Flash Release chakra. Soon and very soon his technique would be complete. Shortly after that a high speed battle most definitely would ensue.

There Hinote stood, consumed by the pure ecstasy of the cool mist. Its cold touch caused his body to create goose bumps, which in turn left him on edge. However at the same time the shivering sensation allowed him to relax and focus. He found himself standing by a creek in the forest, the dense forest in which the battle had begun. In his mind had raced countless ways to quickly defeat his foe, one of which involved an Iaido sneak attack. Such an attack would be highly successful, however he shrugged it off. Instead of going for a sure victory he would allow Raiju to power up his new technique and give him a run for his money. The simple fact that the Tengu could have ended Raiju at that moment was enough for him, the battle was already won in his mind. In order to allocate chakra for his own meditation he relaxed and dispelled the chakra mist surrounding the area. Soon, it became clear as day again, with rays of sun purging the high canopy above them. Hinote decided he would continue his meditation and see where it brought him. Raiju was obviously gathering chakra for an attack, this became every more apparent after he dropped the mist for he could sense his foes chakra even more clearly. However, instead of powering up his own chakra the Tengu hovered up into the air slightly and crossed his legs, hovering in a meditative position. He brought both of his arms together and touched them at the knuckles of his hands, he closed his eyes and allowed himself to be consumed. Consumed much further than he dared to go, for Hinote Shin feared what awaited him at the 100% meditation level. He had yet to use the Buddha Eye's full power and it frightened him. To think, Shin was afraid of the dark secrets and split personalities that may linger in the back corners of his mind. One thing was certain however, Hinote would need to increase his minds reaction speed in order to keep up with Raiju's new found power. So he concentrated, focused on one thing. Dharma Eye. The fourth eye, the fourth Shugendo meditation. For Shin, this would mark an 80% completion of his meditation, his mind now racing four times faster than that of the Physical Eye and twice as fast as the Heavenly Eye. With his new found wisdom Shin focused on only one thing, the finish line. As he began the final stretch of his meditation he could only think of one thing, and he thought it to himself, Well, here I go.

Raiju Raijin, the shinobi who Hinote Shin considered an equal. The fastest shinobi currently alive. Sat on the ground with his back against a tree. He was still indulged in the necessary meditation for his new technique. Sometime had passed, and now the final stage of his meditation was complete. Slowly his golden eyes opened, but this time they were glowing. The fact that his eyes were glowing meant that the technique was now complete. His eyes revealed a little of the power that flowed within him. But it wasn't time to release that power just yet. The Raijin stood up from where he sat. The first thing he noticed was that the mist that obscured his view. Had finally dispersed and the area was now clear like it had once been. A constant low rumble of thunder could be heard in the area around the Raijin. The lightning he was generating heated up the air. Causing the air molecules to spread as far away from each other as possible. Thus creating a scenario where sonic booms resulting in thunder claps always occurred. Standing next to him would be like standing next to a thunderstorm if it had a physical body. With his technique now complete, its armor revealed itself to resemble samurai armor. The armor composed of Flash Release chakra released as flickering flames. Appeared to resemble armor of the warring states era. "Alright Flash Mode is ready. Soon it will be time to show Hinote-Sama the true incarnation of the "Thunder Beast" ". Raiju thought to himself as he prepared to engage his foe in a high speed battle. The Raijin's golden eyes shifted in various directions as he searched for Hinote. He did detect the presence of his friends chakra. But for some reason he couldn't get a full grasp on it. It was because Hinote was probably preparing a technique unknown to Raiju. Possibly a technique that was just as new and powerful as Raiju's. But that didn't frighten the young Raijin at all. In fact, he welcomed the coming danger of such a powerful technique.

Raiju and Hinote, one was the stars and the other was the galaxy. When the two of them came together, they were the universe. The most powerful duo of Water Release and Lightning Release users. The most powerful tag team of shinobi that currently existed. The two of them were a overwhelming force that struck fear into their foes. Frightening speed and attack power coupled with superior intellect and Water Release Mastery. One would be a fool to piss these two off, and think they could defeat them so easily. That was by all means completely out of the question. Every time the two of them fought somewhere. The area that served as their blank canvas. Became painted with the destruction left behind by their existence. To others it appeared as though they were monsters. Raiju didn't think what others though of them was true or not. It didn't matter what people though of them to him. Only those weaker than them would sweat that small detail. What mattered the most to Raiju was becoming strong with his friend. So they could save the world from any evil that threatened the safety of humanity. Training with Hinote again would help both Raiju and Hinote in the long run. They could keep building each other up with a healthy rivalry. The end result being more power, more wisdom, and more lives saved. That was why this battle between them had to happen. Raiju had to confirm his worthiness and usefulness to Hinote. The moment the two of them met with their most power techniques activated. It would truly be the most epic moment in shinobi history. Thus Raiju waited for that epic moment to arrive.

There was a large crash, bellowing thunder. The rolling of powerful air and sound tore through the sky and ricocheted off the ground. It was all encompassing, like a feeling of drowning or choking. This feeling was enough to break Hinote of his concentration. He had been meditating to get to 100% of his minds reaction speed, however he was stopped. Shin's eyes opened as he hovered down to the ground from his floating meditation. He placed one foot to the ground and then the other, eyes wide. The sound, and the overwhelming power was coming from Raiju's direction. Unlike before when he could sense the Raijin's chakra, he now only felt his foes presence everywhere around him. Chakra sensing would prove useless now, he would have to focus on his Shugendo: Atman to fell out Raiju. Shin began to curse quietly as he said to himself, "Damnit! I should have finished this with Iaido like I originally planned. It seems as if my hubris has gotten the best of me this time, I did not foresee such a change from Raiju in such a short period of time!" A sweat droplet formed on the Tengu's brow, only to be blown away by the rapidly expanding air of Raiju's thunder. Such power had taken him by surprise, his opponent had reached a plateau he had not thought possible. Raiju Raijin, Hinote thought, He must be the strongest Raijin now, no other could possibly stand up to this. Sorry Drake, you've been dethroned." A small smile appeared on Hinote's face to accompany his wide eyes, he was having a slight panic attack from his carelessness. Hinote's normal calm composure was gone, and what was left was a husk of a man. The Tengu knew there was only one way he could deal with this situation. He had been afraid of his Buddha Eye meditation, afraid what he might find in the dark corners of his mind. However, there was no time for that now, he had to risk it in order to have a chance to defeat Raiju. Adrenaline fueled his body, and he began to shake from a rise in blood pressure. Clapping his hands together Shin concentrated hard on finishing his meditation, and he yelled out, "One Thousand Suns, Infinite Infinity, Alright... Buddha Eye!" His mind raced, his thoughts faster than any other being. He comprehended everything he thought of, and more. He focused on Raiju, seeing his spiritual soul with the Shugendo: Atman. He sensed chakras far from where they were at; Kenji, Kuro, Koutei, Drake. And then it all stopped, abruptly. For what he saw was a dark space with a pair of floating eyes. The eyes of the Gogen, those white sclera with a black spiral. Hinote tried to dispel the meditation, but it was too late. Like a pair of demonic hands reaching out and grabbing him with the intent to take him to hell, his mind was ripped from his mortal body and taken somewhere else. This place, a bridge between the world of the living and the afterlife.

Hinote's eyes shot open, however his body was lifeless and free. His eyes had no iris or pupil, no white sclera with a black swirl. All that was left were a pair of white eyes, like a zombie, plain and lifeless. No chakra signature. His body became limp as if dead, and it fell forwards into the creek he was standing next to, plunging into the watery depths. He had no control now, his mind was elsewhere. Shin's mind had taken the form of a spiritual specter resembling his body, he could use it to maneuver around the spiritual world he had appeared in. When his mind was ready he opened his eyes. Where he stood was completely white, it seemed like it was unthinkable and unknowable. He was having an out of body experience, and he had no idea where he was. Looking down, he could see his body floating in the creek it had fallen in, it was like looking through a window from the afterlife to the world of the living. He didn't know if he was dead, but one thing was certain, the Buddha Eye meditation had brought him here. Shin's soul then found his voice and was able to speak again, "Where am I?" As if to answer his question he felt what seemed like the force of a punch hit him square in the face. He flew backwards a couple of feet before skidding to the ground. He was in shock, however he shook it off and looked up again. This time the scenery was blurry, but he could make out what seemed to be the shadow of a figure before him. Then he heard a voice, "How dare you show your face here!" Shin said out loud, "Huh?" He rubbed his cheek and stood up. This time his eyes were able to focus on his surroundings and as if a curtain pulling back, the white slowly dissolved away and he found himself on the summit of a mountain. He impulsively stated, "Now where am I?" Then his eyes widened, shock was setting back in. He knew who had hit him, and not just that, more people started to come into view all around his assailant. The voice spoke up again and stated, "This is Mount Kurama dumbass, and you are not welcome here!" Shin now knew exactly who was standing before him, as well as all of the other people around them. He had met this person before. He scanned all of the faces and found that he knew many of them as well, most with angry looks on their face. Hinote's voice than left his lips quickly as he reacted to the situation, "The Tengu Clan, all of you are from the Tengu Clan!" Each and every being standing around him was a Tengu. Traditional dress, wings and all. Each of them were his family. Some he did not recognize as they had been from generations far before his time. Some he did know, personally, and those he knew were also the Tengu he slaughtered that day many years ago. The Tengu that had hit him was one such Tengu. He thought to himself, The Tengu Clan, great, I must be dead.

Another voice yelled from a distance, "Thats right, your not welcome here Shin, get out!" Another joined in, "Murderer!" Another, "Traitor! Traitor!" Shin gritted his teeth as he watched the first Tengu raise his fist to hit him again, while the mob quickly surrounded him. He closed his eyes, awaiting his fate, but just before he could be struck again a louder voice boomed out from behind the crowd, "Enough!" It was a voice of authority, so much so that the entire mob grew quiet and stepped back, parting a path that lead from Shin to the voice. There, perched on a rock in the back was a larger Tengu, one that was older and wiser than the rest. The old one beckoned towards Shin and said, "Come here young one, don't be shy." Hinote swallowed a lump in his throat before slowly making his way towards him. He was afraid that one of the glaring Tengu to his sides would try to attack him again. His walk seemed to last longer than it should have. As he approached he also noticed an equally old Tengu leaning against the side of the rock the first elder had been sitting on. Luckily he got all the way to the old Tengu without an incident. When he was within a couple feet the old Tengu said, "I am Jirobo, and this is my brother Tarobo." Shin's eyes widened and he quickly fell into a crouching bow and said, "Great ancestors, forgive my rudeness!" Jirobo chuckled before saying, "No no, rise young one." Tarobo at Jirobo's side spoke up, "Brother, this one is not dead." Jirobo's face got serious as he responded, "Yes I know." He reached out his hand, a hand that was bigger than any persons Shin had ever seen, and touched the top of Hinote's head. Jirobo closed his eyes and focused, reading the thoughts of the younger Tengu. After a few long minutes he opened his mind and said, "Got it." Shin stumbled back quickly and exclaimed, "What do you mean not dead? If I'm not dead then where am I?" A Tengu that had spoken up earlier shouted out, "Hey you, show Jirobo-sama some respect!" Shin cringed but as he did Tarobo spoke, "He said enough from you!" The loud mouth Tengu shrugged his way back into the crowd. Jirobo grew serious as he said, "So, you have interpreted Father's will. Interesting, only by Father's teachings could you have arrived here before your time. I suppose that means you were able to use the Gogen's Ultimate Meditation, the Buddha Eye. So gifted at such a young age, a prodigy if I ever saw one myself." Hinote spoke up with respect, saying, "Thank you sir. Jirobo's voice than rose again saying, "Now, let us tell you where you are and why you are here..." Shin listened intently, waiting for the wise words of his great ancestor.

The time had finally arrived for Raiju to show Hinote the results of his training. Well that was what was supposed to happen, until Raiju saw Hinote suddenly collaspe. The Raijin just knew Hinote had to be ready to rumble by now. But something had struck Raiju as odd. His mind raced trying to pick one of a million things. Which could have caused this feeling he had. So Raiju decided to investigate this feeling that caused a incident within him. Like he was a detective tracking a criminal. Except he was the detective and at the same time the criminal. "Lets see here... I know Hinote-Sama is all about the meditation thing. He comes from a ancient clan that does that sort of stuff. He's the only survivor... Then he was that ocular jutsu that's just as ancient as his clan. I think it was called the Gogen? I don't think Hinote has anyone after him right now. Even if they were, there's no way they could lay a finger on him. Not with his skill or while I'm around. I will not allow anyone to harm my best friend/rival. That's my job. Anyways I think whatever this feeling is, its telling me that perhaps he's possibly dealing with something spiritual. That would make the most sense because Hinote-Sama is the only guy I know that knows everything about that stuff." Raiju thought to himself finally reaching some sort of conclusion. The Raijin then started thinking about the "Flash Mode". The very technique he had worked on for a year. Along with all he had to go through just to complete the technique. He began having flashbacks of different moments of his training. In the first flashback his arrival at Thunder Mountain was shown. There was a large White Tiger who looked fairly old waiting to greet him at the top of the mountain. The tiger was much larger than what Raiju knew it should have been. "Welcome young Raijin. I have been waiting for you". Said the large tiger in a calm and welcoming tone. "What the crap you just spoke! On top of that you're like friggin huge dude! Oh my god man I didn't know tigers could get that big!" Raiju's reaction to the large tiger was pretty obvious to it. The tiger had expected this from anyone who successful made it to Thunder Mountain. A vein popped up near its temple. The tiger let out a roar before speaking in semi agitated tone. "Look you! I didn't wait all this time for you to insult me! I was informed by the younger ones of your arrival. I thought the Raijin clan would never return to this mountain. After we helped them to become strong and defeat their foes. I guess that wasn't the case. Any how you're here now." Confusion struck the young Raijin when he heard the tigers words. How in the world did this tiger know he was a Raijin he wondered.

Confused and curious the Raijin spoke before the tiger could again. "Wait a minute. How the hell do you know I'm a Raijin? Was it my eyes? My stunning good looks. Or the fact that I'm a G when it comes to getting all the ladies? Also uh who the hell are you? to back up what he had said. Raiju did one of those cool guy poses and smiled big. The scene quickly turned into that of a comical one. When the tiger became a bit frustrated with the way Raiju was acting. It punched Raiju on the head with its paw balled up into a first. Its eyes became white circles and its mouth larger than normal. He said "Enough you fool! Why do you have to come up here and spout utter nonsense!? The elder before me didn't mention I'd have to deal with a annoying brat like you! Ugh the things I go through sometimes. You know its common manners to give your name before asking someone else. Anyway sense its going to be like this. I might as well introduce myself. My name is Shuji. I am the elder of this land and leader of the tigers that live here. Welcome to Thunder Mountain young Raijin And you are?". The Tiger awaited Raiju's response, it was curious to see what Raiju had to say. Raiju's eyes turned into white circles as well. He was in pain and a little irritated that he had been punched all of a sudden. "Owwwww! What the hell did you do that for you frigg'n jerk!? If you must know my name is Raiju Raijin. I'm the fastest shinobi alive next to Lord drake. I am also a bit of a pervert too. But that part shouldn't matter to you. 'Cause you don't seem to be the type that would know about the ladies. Anyways I sought this place. So I could master better control, over my Flash Release Advanced Nature Kekkei Genkai. Lord Drake said this was the perfect place to do that. That is why I am here before you" The comical scene was now over. The two of them were no serious and ready to get down to business. "Ah Raiju Raijin was it? Well you've certainly come to the right place. I'm sure you've noticed that the weather around here is a little unusual right? Since there's so much static electricity. it seems like there's no life around here at all. However that is completely untrue because we are here living off the land. The fact that you're here and you haven't been struck by a random lightning bolt means you are a true Raijin. The Raijin's blood is coursing through your veins. I am impressed that you have awakened the Flash Release without meditation. In all my years of living, I have never come across such a talented fellow as yourself. The training for full mastery of the Flash Release will be rough. Are you sure you can handle it? Will you accept my challenge Raiju Raijin?' The moment that would change Raiju's life was upon him. There was no turning back now. Shuji eagerly awaited Raiju's response to his questions.

Silence fell between the two of them. It was now or never for Raiju to make his decision. If he wanted to become stronger than his rival Hinote. Then he had to take the path that lay before him. Clenching his right fist as hard as he could. Raiju finally opened his mouth to speak. "I can handle your challenge or any other challenge you dish out! I Raiju Raijin wholeheartedly accept your challenge great elder tiger Shuji!" Raiju's eyes burned with determination. This was his chance to become stronger than Hinote. There was no way he'd blow it. Thus the training had begun. The next flashback fast forwarded to time where Raiju was half way through his training. "Man Shuji-sama why do you make me do so many useless things? I'm finally getting used to this meditation thing. So why do I have to do other things that are useless? Huh?" Said Raiju as he sat in a meditative position inside Thunder Temple. He was in one of the many rooms used for meditation. There was a room which spiral stairs lead to. However it was temporary forbidden for him to meditate there. "Raiju please listen to me... I don't make you do all those things you call useless for nothing. I'm teaching you how to deal with things, and how to do certain things. Meditation requires a calm state of mine. If you cannot achieve that. Then you cannot complete your training for mastery over the Flash Relase. Or develop any future techniques that use the Flash Release chakra." Shuji started to lose his patience with Raiju a little. But he had to endure Raiju's complaining so the training could be completed. "Whatever you say Shuji-Sama. I just wanna get this training over with as quick as possible. I don't like to sit around, and Hinote-Sama is probably getting stronger as we speak. So I'd rather you tell me what I need to do to complete this training once and for all. Oh and Hinote-Sama is my best friend/rival/leader. I am a member of Hogasha. We fight to end all wars in the world and to achieve peace." Raiju's words sparked Shuji's interest in the young Raijin even more. The fact that he was young and fighting for a good cause. Shuji couldn't just discard him like a piece of trash. He had to give Raiju a chance and help him complete his training. "Ah so you're a member of the Hogasha huh? I've heard rumors about them involving themselves in problems of the world. I also heard it wasn't easy joining that group either. So i'm sure you must have went through hell just to join. Well if you want to become stronger, then you'll have to push yourself even more. So come on Raiju show me the power of Raiju Raijin!" With that Raiju's training continued on and entered its final stage.

The final flashback fast forwarded to time where Raiju had entered the final stages of his training. After doing strength training by carrying large boulders and logs up and down the mountain. Mental training by doing various puzzles Shuji had set up for him. Speed training by running laps around different areas of Thunder Mountain. Stealth training by sneaking up on the other tigers and attempting to steal their food. Raiju was finally ready for the final stage of his training. He had read up on his clans history on the stone walls of Thunder Temple. Everything they went through in their past to how they became the Raijin clan. Raiju had finally figured out the hidden message that the walls of the temple pointed to. Now sitting in a meditative position in that room which the spiral staircase lead to. Which was charred as if lightning bolts had struck it many times over time. Was a Raijin about to achieve his full power. The heavens opened up and heavy rain fell to the ground, and into the opening of the room Raiju was in. It was the highest room in the temple at the very top of the mountain. A Loud rumble of thunder filled the skies with its mighty roar. The sky lit up like a firework show replacing the fireworks with lighting bolts instead. Raiju focused on charging his Flash Release chakra and drawing in as much static electricity as he could. Suddenly a lightning bolt struck Raiju and he began to have a panic attack. "Raiju don't panic. You need to focus! This is the final part of your training! If you cannot endure this... THEN YOU'RE AS GOOD AS DEAD RAIJU!!!" Shuji cried out as the room became illuminated by the lightning bolts light. " I can't Its to powerful!! There's no way I can handle this! No, what am I saying!? Sure I can! My mastery over the Lightning Release is superb. I know I can master the Flash Release just as good. Here I go! HAAAAAAAAAA!". After that event Raiju had finally mastered the Flash Release. From that the Flash Flash: Flash Mode was born and two other Flash Release techniques. Returning to reality Raiju remembered how hard he worked to master the Flash Release. Using his Flash Release: Flash Mode to its full potential was important to him. After he worked his body so hard to the point where someone would have given up. "C'mon Hinote-Sama you've just got to get up! HINOTE-SAMAAAAA!

Sojobo cleared his throat before continuing, "Shin, you are the first Tengu in a long time to be able to use the Gogen's true power. It was by no accident that you have found yourself here on Mount Kurama. We the Tengu are a spiritual people, it was only natural that we would be able to materialize in a body like form and continue to live together in the afterlife. You know the teachings of Shugendo. As the Atman meditation states, all things are connected in an infinite cycle of life, death, and rebirth. All souls return to a common place when they die, and return to mortal form through rebirth. That means all souls are connected in some way shape or form. Do you understand now? It’s just as you can sense the spiritual essence of those living around you, you are sensing our souls while we are in a state of death." He paused for a minute to catch his breath, and his brother Tarobo took over for a moment, "Young one, just as you can reach us with your mind we can reach you. We all possess the Gogen, and while our souls were at rest here we have come to realize something." Tarobo went into telling Shin the story of their creation. It was a story he once read on the Tengu Scroll kept hidden away in their compound back in Kumogakure. It was a scroll that he wasn't allowed to read, but did so anyway. However Tarobo's take on the story was definitely more in depth and detailed. He learned what their great ancestor and creator was actually like, Sojobo of Mount Kurama. The story stemmed from Sojobo's sacred duty to guard the Shinju tree and its fruit, a duty that was defiled from the demon witch Kaguya. It was because of her that the Tengu would pursue all of her offspring until they were all deceased, those of the Senju, Hyuuga, and Uchiha clans. Shin calmly interjected, "With all due respect, I know the stories. It was told in the clan’s hidden scroll, one passed down through the generations. I surmised that it was the offspring of Kaguya that we must destroy, and that my clan was blatantly ignoring this creed. How does this story have to do with the realization you have had while in the afterlife?" Tarobo continued, "Yes well, originally when the Tengu were created it was Sojobo that separated his own being, his soul into two equal parts. You can think of it as him splinting his yin from his yang side and putting them into two separate vessels. It was Jirobo and myself that were created from this process, the first mortal Tengus. Through the generations our clan continued to expand, and every time a new generation was born half of each parent’s souls were combined to create a new birth. For you see, all Tengu are part of the great ones soul, if each piece of it were to come back together, like a giant puzzle his omnipresent greatness would return as well." He paused to give Shin a moment to think about his words.

Hinote thought it over for some time. What he was saying made sense, if each Tengu had a bit of their parents soul that would mean that adding them all back into one would bring about a soul equal to Sojobo's original soul. As he was thinking it over, Jirobo decided to speak once again, "Shin, I know about what you did, what you thought was right. You were deeply saddened when you learned about Sojobo's great tragedy and you saw that your clan had changed from battle ready avengers to peace loving sages. You knew it was our sacred duty to destroy Kaguya's offspring; the Senju, Hyuuga, and Uchiha. You saw that those clans had not yet been brought to justice, and it angered you, saddened you. My child, I understand you pain, and I'm sure everyone else here would if they just listened." He gave a firm look to the group of Tengu that stood before him listening to the conversation. Though they were cross with Shin they started to lighten up and a look of grief crossed their face. They knew they had ignored Sojobo's great teachings and, instead of following their elder’s teachings, lived a safe life behind the walls of Kumogakure. Jirobo continued, "Though I cannot condone the action you took against your fellow clansmen, I can understand it. Remember I read your thoughts. In the world you live, it may no longer be appropriate to eliminate our enemy clans, it is still important to make sure the chakra passed unto the humans by the Shinju's fruit is not abused. I have seen your actions, the group Hogasha, and you have made me proud. You are a strong, and fine Tengu, full of passion and heart. You carry the ancient practice of Shugendo as your greatest weapon, and you do not fail to punish the wrong and save the weak. I believe you deserve to be forgiven." The words of Jirobo lifted a great weight from Hinote's shoulders. He had always carried the death of his clan as a burden, and as a sin he could never expunge. He would be forgiven, and that means he could move on from trying to live up to their memory. It was about time he lived for himself, and used the teachings of Shugendo and the power of the Gogen to make a better world. Jirobo nodded and Tarobo spoke up, "In the name of the great and honorable Tengu clan, I declare Shin Hinote forgiven. You are our last living relative, and the inheritor of the great ones power. Therefore we honor you as a vessel for our strength and dreams." Tarobo bowed, followed by Jirobo. Looking around, he saw onto the crowd of Tengu behind him. Each one was hesitant at first, but soon each and every one of them bowed. Hinote blushed a bit, before shaking it off and turning back to Jirobo and Tarobo. Jirobo then looked up at Shin and spoke, "You will be the vessel for Sojobo's power, so speaking of which, we wish to give you a gift."

Standing from his perch, Jirobo walked up a narrow path that lead up to the mountains summit. Tarobo followed him, and behind him the rest of the Tengu. They each assended the mountain, and curiously Hinote followed them. When he reached the top, to his amazement, he found them all positioning themselves in a circle. The formation was seperated into diferent rings representing the many generations of their family. Facing each other about five feet apart from each other were Jirobo and Tarobo, sitting in a meditative position. Around them were their four offspring; Sasnjakubo, Ryuhobo, Buzenbo, and Hokibo. Around them were their eight offspring, and around them 16. The formation formed multiple concentrict circles, all looking in towards the empty center point. Jirobo looked over to Shin and beckoned him to sit in the very center. He walked over to the center and sat. Tarobo then spoke up, "Concentrate Shin. Enter a deep state of meditation, like when your using the Buddha Eye. Let the ancient practice of Shugendo fill your mind and body. Your mortal body will be the vessel for our power, each and every one of us will combine our conciousness with yours to create on grand soul, Sojobo's soul. That soul will then fill your body and you will be granted imeasureable power. Use this power to fullfill your mission. But we warn you, if we ever detect you are straying from your path, we will never answer your call again." Hinote nodded before entering a deep meditation. He thought to himself, Physical, Heavenly, Wisdom, Dharma, Buddha. All souls start as one and return to one, there is no seperation of beings. With this knowledge I can comprehend infinite infinity in an instant, and my sight is as clear and bright as one thousand suns. Alright, Buddha Eye! Each of the rest of the Tengu followed in Hinote's footsteps. Each of their minds entered a state of supreme conciousness and focused on Shin, he would act as a pool for their souls and channel them into his mortal body. This in turn would wake a Tengu far stronger than he would have been by himself. He focused on each and every one of them and allowed them to enter his body. All together, they fused into one complete soul, a perfect soul. Though as omnipotent as Sojobo's original soul, they would not be able to recall any of their fathers memories. All they would have is the collected memory of each of the Tengu represented inside of Shin. It was only a matter of time before Hinote Shin's mortal body would reawaken as a more powerful Tengu, a complete Tengu, Thee Tengu.

At first glance, Hinote's lifeless body would appear the same to Raiju. He appeared lifeless in the pool of water, and had been for a couple minutes now. He seemed dead. However it was now that all of the Tengu clan entered the lifeless body. Each of their lifeforces invigorated the body and begun to resesitated it. Firstly, chakra began to flow through the body once again along with its organs restarting their function. If one could hear Shin's insides, a single heart beat would break the silence of his death. 'Thump thump', like an echo rung through his body giving him life. What started off as a small, life giving burst of chakra started to grow in power and violence. It began to become visible around his body, a golden light. It brought such force that it began to evaporate the water all around him. For Raiju, he would see steam rising from around Shin's lifeless body. 'Thump thump' his heart continued to beat. 'Thump thump', he opened his eyes. The water all around the Tengu exploded with the force of his chakra. He displaced so much that he could was able to touch the bottom, and pushing off of it he made it to his feet. He took a breath. It took the soul within his body a moment to realise where he was and what was happening. It tugged on the memories of each member of the Tengu Clan and brought about one personality. If Raiju thought dealing with one Tengu able to use 100% of its mind was bad, he would be in for a rude awakening. Each of the 100+ Tengu in his mind would be able to influsence Hinote's body. For example, if twenty of the Tengu focused on dodging he would be able to react at 20 times 100% mental output. He was now the perfect mental being. His chakra and attacks would also be controlled by multiple Tengu at once allowing for better control and percision. Movement would be perfected with no waste of energy or time. Hinote's body also began to change from the introduction of the entire Tengu Clan. The pigment of his brown hair began to fade out and became as white as snow. Glowing golden tribal tattoos traced themselves around his body covering his face, chest, legs, back, and arms. Shin's black crow wings flapped and ejected his Hogasha cloak from his back. Each wing arched unwards and touched at the tips created a circle on his back, the individual feathers of the wings glowed gold and began evaporating into the air behind him. What was left was a golden ring of chakra hovering behind his back. The ring was highly detailed, and comprised of many designs and cricles. The golden circle began to glow and pulse with chakra making the particles in the air all around Shin become coated and glow with his chakra. It appeared as if shimmering yellow partilces were hovering all around his body. The colors of the clothes he was wearing also began to grow brighter and more vivid as his chakra seeped through them. Finally he slowly looked up at Raiju and witnessed his foes new form. The Tengu's Gogen Eye looked onto Raiju's Flash Mode with curiosity. From within The Tengu's mind each and every one of the clansmen called out together, signifying their readiness for battle, "Our hearts are one, our wills are united..." And at the very same moment they finished calling out Shin's body exclaimed, "We are The Tengu!" The Tengu's chakra surged once again as he mouthed the words, filling the entire area for a quick moment with the feeling of his chakra.

The lifeless body of his friend Hinote Shin just laid there. It remained in that state for quite a while. Since he couldn't sense any traces of his friends chakra. Raiju begun to accept that maybe his friend really was dead. Perhaps his friend had a illness that couldn't be cured and didn't tell him. Then Hinote pushed himself too hard and ended up dying in the process. The Raijin hoped that wasn't true. If it was true, then he would have to live with the guilt of driving his friend to death. But he was in denial and confused about what had happened. Raiju just wished his best friend was ok so they could continue their battle. Just as Raiju was about to accept the death of his best friend and give up hope. Something extraordinary happened right before his eyes. First a golden light became visual around Hinote's lifeless body. Then water literately began to evaporate all around Hinote. "What the?" he mumbled to himself in disbelief. As he saw steam rising from Hinote's lifeless body. Raiju detected a massive amount of chakra coming from Hinote. It was so much chakra that water exploded with its force. Representing just how powerful that chakra actually was. It was a frightening scene just as it was a shocking one. "What- What the hell is going on?! For a moment I thought for sure Hinote-Sama had suddenly died. I was ready to force myself to accept his death. But this is Hinote-Sama I'm talking about. There is no way in hell he'd drop dead just like that. Amazing... Such power..." Raiju thought to himself in amazement of the event that was currently unfolding right before his very eyes. He watched on as Hinote's transformation reached its completion. What he focused on was some kind of gold ring behind his friends back. From the looks of it, it had to be pure chakra. Hinote's whole appearance was completely different than before. Raiju had never seen his friend in the form that he had now taken before him. It was completely a new experience for the Raijin. But the thing that stood out the most to Raiju from Hinote's transformation. Besides the golden ring, the chakra that was visible pouring out of him, and the discoloration of his hair. It was the Tengu's wings that stood out the most to him. They were a golden color as well. The amount of power his friend currently possessed was truly amazing. "So this form I see before me. This is Hinote-sama's true form. I see..." The Raijin thought to himself once more. When his friend spoke, Raiju felt the surge of chakra that filled the entire area for a brief moment. It caused Raiju to get goosebumps coupled with the hairs standing up on the back of his neck. As if the hairs on his head and next weren't already standing up. From the power Raiju was currently emitting.

The expression on Raiju's face changed to a more serious one. The threatening sound his Flash Mode made. The bright glow of his golden eyes and the Flash Release chakra released as flickering flames. Right now Raiju was just as dangerous as his friend. Raiju looked Hinote dead in the eyes. He spoke to the Tengu with a strong tone of voice. "Behold Hinote-Sama... The power that you see before you... This is the power of the Flash Release! This the power of the Raijin Clan! Now witness the true incarnation of the Thunder Beast!" Raiju performed the tiger hand seal as he focused his Flash Release chakra. He thought about how frustrated he was, being unable to defeat Hintoe in their first battle. This caused him to become angry at himself for failing. Which in turn caused the technique he was preparing to respond to his emotion. "Flash Release: Raikou! he cried out as the chakra around him surged for a moment upon activation of the technique. The Flash Release Raikou didn't require charging like Raiju's other Flash Release techniques. While in Flash Mode mode Raiju could use his Flash Release techniques more easily. The Flash mode also constantly gathered static electricity as the user moved. Flash Release: Raikou responds to its users emotions. If the user doesn't feel a emotion that triggers a action. Then the flaming aura of the Flash Mode will just continue to grow. By using this technique Raiju could shoot out Flash Release chakra in the form of five-hundred pound tigers. That was because the Flash Release: Raikou could be used in conjunction with Taijutsu. Since Taijutsu was Raiju's strong suit along with speed. The Flash Release: Raikou was the perfect technique for him. Each time the Flash Release: Raikou is unleashed, a frightening thunderclap occurs which represents the tigers mighty roar. The beast always materializes in the form of a five hundred pound tiger. Then it charges toward the target at high speeds. If the beast succeeds in biting the foe. They will experience a numbing sensation from the severe electrocution they received. The electric shock disrupts the bodies natural flow of electricity. Causing their brain to become disconnected from the rest of their body. While also inflicting critical damage to their nervous system. as a result of the abnormal electrical flow. A heart attack is imminent. Afterwards the beast becomes unstable, causing it to self destruct with great explosive force. Thus causing the foe to become accelerated at a high velocity away from the user. The impact of this technique destroys the area around them. For Raiju continuous use of this technique. Will shorten the time he has in Flash Mode. The Flash Release: Raikou represents the true incarnation of the Thunder Beast.

Boom! The air exploded and the impact of the shock wave devastated the area around Raiju. A crater was left in his wake, followed by a loud thunderclap. When Raiju took off in a burst of speed. The Raijin took off like a bullet. A blur of yellow-toned lightning was all that could seen. As Raiju moved around the forest at such a high rate of speed. His speed was now comparable to someone with six of the Eight Inner Gates opened. It was an upgrade of the Raijin's previous speed which Hinote was familiar with. Raiju reappeared in front of Hinote and flailed his fists at very high speed. Another thunderclap occurred after his reappearance. The Raijin combined his 10-hit combo Taijutsu technique with the Flash Release Raikou. Ten five-hundred pound tigers composed of Flash Release chakra. Shoot out of his fists and charged towards Hinote at speed. The tigers attempted to claw and bite at Hinote. They rushed in from all sides in their assault on Hinote. "HAAAAAA!! TAKE THIS!!! Said Raiju as he let out a fierce battle cry. If Hinote became struck by the attack. He would receive a severe electric shock that was damaging to his nervous system. One that would cause his brain to become disconnected and a heart attack to occur. The tigers would become unstable and explode. They would accelerate Hinote away from Raiju. The impact would destroy the area around Hinote once he came to a stop. Raiju watched on to see how his friend would deal with the attack. The Raijin was curious to see what the Tengu's true power could really do.
