Alright, now that we've had an absolutely frilling encore from arguably one of the best series of the Heisei-era (i.e. Kamen Rider Gaim) what do you guys think of our newest tire-changing rider?
Personally, while the first episode was generally an average, okay start for a new series, it does seem like it has gone back to business as usual for Kamen Rider series. Or that could just be me. ^^"

I like everything about this series except the Toy Cars, the Tire on Drive's chest, and the monster's being floating numbers - the latter being the stupidest thing I've seen.
Personally not enjoying this series. Might be my least favorite Kamen Rider yet (somehow more than Fourze). If a friend wasn't pushing me to watch it with them for a good laugh at how bad it is I'd probably drop it in a few more episodes. I'm trying hard to find some potential in it, but I'm not really seeing much cat_sweatdrop

I find it hard to get into, actually I haven't watched it since its 4th ep, or 3rd can't remember, this is the second time for me watching a Rider I can't get behind. It looked like it was going to be more interesting. I might once it is all done go back and try again, but right now Im not going to wait week to week to see a new ep.
I want to watch Drive, but am having trouble finding uploads. I don't want to download the episodes, but they are nowhere to be seen on youtube. There are zippcasts, but the quality is low.

I think that's what they're going for, with Drive using the Deadheat Shift Car and Mach using the Deadheat Shift Bike

I know it wasn't written for my demographic, but the previous Heisei-era have been some of my favorite (I even made my own Fourze mask). It feels too gimmicky to me, does it get better in later episodes, I gave up after 2 (I know its early but I couldn't stand this detective Kamen Rider comparing himself to W)I know there are others but I have not seen them or do not remember).

In my opinion it gets a LOT better in the later episodes. The latest episodes have been great, and the wackiness gets toned down a bit.
Well I don't necessarily have a problem with the wackiness (per say), but the overall vibe of the show seemed off. It felt like I was watching a show written for a Japanese child on Sunday morning, I didn't get that vibe with any of the other series thus far. Also, the car theme feels like a marketing ploy. Not to mention, that to be a rider one must have a bike not a car, the series is special to me and it just feels sullied. I suppose if it were called Kamen driver, I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it. I had great faith in the franchise, i just hope it doesn't set precedent. regardless, I will attempt to watch it again with low expectations.
