Bartending - While this is technically his job, it's something he enjoys. He spends a lot of time keeping up to date on all the new drinks, all the neat tricks; bartending is an opportunity to meet new people and show off. It lets him be creative and flashy and still earn a decent living; he likes the scene in the bar he works in and doesn't have to pretend to enjoy making drinks. He frequently experiments with new combinations, so if you're interested in trying something new, you should drop by!

Partying - Zack's been partying hard since high school, and has always enjoyed the scene. Drinks, drugs, good company—whatever. He's a social creature and goes where the people are. He enjoys being social, surrounded by loud music and free spirits. He'll hit the clubs when he's looking for a good time, but he's just as happy to attend a cocktail party. Social gatherings bring out the best (and worst) in him, and he enjoys meeting new people and relaxing.

Gambling - It doesn’t have to be with money, but Zack's a gambler. Gambling is like an adult game, where in addition to getting the satisfaction of a win, you can also earn material rewards. He's overconfident and enjoys betting on just about everything. He enjoys the competition and the adrenaline rush. He's got a bit of an addictive personality, so he'll often bet on things compulsively and usually needs a friend to remind him to chill out. Not that he listens very well, but anyone who can take his gambling in stride or talk him down from it is someone he needs around a little more often.

Virtues:

Crafty -- Quick thinking and creative, Zack is incredibly resourceful. He's always got something up his sleeve and is sneakier than his innocent appearance might lead others to believe. He is definitely one to think out of the box, though perhaps some of this can be attributed to the fact that his morals are a little looser than others. Cunning enough to work himself out of plenty of situations (and into plenty more), Zack's craftiness makes him great in a pinch--or just when you're looking for a smartass to keep things interesting.

Confident -- Zack's confidence is unwavering; he has no doubt in himself or his abilities to get things done. He thinks he's great at just about anything he really puts his effort into, and even if he's not, he'll try. He is always striving to be better and his confidence fuels his ambition. He is not afraid of anything and even if there is a possibility of failure, he'll brave the storm anyway. Even if he fails, he's confident that he'll learn something that'll make him a better person.

Independent -- Zack doesn't need help, and he won't ask for it. He's got his own agenda and won't get into anyone's debt. Handling things himself has taught him how to solve his own problems—and others, if it really comes down to it. He's not the sort of person who will ask for help unless absolutely unavoidable. He likes being able to take care of himself and thinks that relying on others is a sign of weakness.

Hardworking -- Incredibly persistent, Zack does not give up or back down. Once he starts on a task, he is almost guaranteed to finish it. He refuses to be a quitter and, once engaging in a project will give it his all until he is satisfied. He might get distracted along the way, but he is otherwise persistent and unwavering in dedication until all the work is completed.

Flaws:

Insincere -- Zack has a difficult time being honest and lies frequently. He'll say what people want to say just to keep them happy, though he has little regard for the truth. If it gets him something, he'll say it. He is capable of wearing a mask and fabricating emotions, but he's just an actor. You learn how to smile and pretend like you care when doing so gets you a nice tip. Unfortunately, Zack doesn't use this tactic just while working and his insincerity has bled into nearly every situation. If you know what he's up to, it makes it difficult to trust anything he says when you know how easy it is for him to just pretend like he cares.

Fickle -- Zack doesn't stick with one group for very long, and who he's friends with depends entirely on what he's interested in. He might develop deep relationships and then hold them for years and then disappear for no reason a week later. His circle of friends is constantly fluctuating and Zack does not care enough about his bonds to want to keep others around if it doesn't suit him. If you're friends, he's got your back. If he's not interested…good luck. His mercurial friendships make him seem to be a fair weather friend and may make it difficult to develop a deep bond with him.

Disloyal -- Loyalties waver frequently; if Zack's team is losing, he'll hop on the winning side. His allegiance is to himself first and foremost, and whoever else after that has no guarantee he'll be with them. Zack likes to win, and he likes to get things out of winning. He is hardworking and honest and will put in the best effort as possible—as long as he is certain that the outcome will benefit him. If the other team has a better offer, Zack's gone. He will betray a friend's trust if it benefits him, so anyone that knows Zack cares more about himself than anyone else might want to be careful.

Reckless -- His confidence leads him to do reckless things; Zack is young and his youth makes him blind to much of the concerns he should share for the world. Drink too much? Impossible. Reply to that text while driving? Sure, why not. Go down that dark alleyway even though it's totally the best place to get mugged and murdered? Okay. Being reckless puts not only Zack in danger, but anyone whose company he is in. He doesn’t care for consequences and this sometimes leads to him making bad decisions that could have been avoided if he'd just thought about what he was doing instead of, you know, just doing it.
