He leaned over and gently licked some of the blood away that had dried on her fur. It was making him overly upset that this red was staining her beautiful white fur. The pride they had come from valued such a pelt and now hers was stained. Of course it would come out in time but Hoaka didn't want to even see it now.
Green: The evening felt like it had only just begun, though it was over, Sabia`Nafsi had wandered with Hoaka to her quarters and soon blacked out. Luckily, with his aid, she was moved to a proper place and allowed some time to relax and begin sleeping off the wounds of the day. During her brief slumber Sabia recalled a dream, something had struck her in this dream, it was of the past. A memory. Her home was peaceful, calm and a familiar face soon took over the view of what was a shrine at the time. "Mother." The sleeping Sabia mumbled this outloud and in her dream, but that was all that was said before she awoke to the soothing cleaning of Hoaka. "Hoaka.." She whispered in a weary tone. Her face lit up immeditaely upon seeing him in sight, it still felt like an illusion that he was here. SHe had dreaded losing him and simply tried to remove him from her mind. No sooner had she almost rid herself of him mentally when he was appearing at her door all smiles and more.
"Hoaka, do not worry about my wounds." Her smile did not falter, didn't even shake. Though Sabia had found herself in a bit of a sore moment the confidence and pride she earned was more than reward for what she had done. Standing up for herself was always a tough battle. She was quiet and quick to escape an arguement growing up, it was half a mind that she even made it to this point. Though a dark seed had wiggled its way into her mind she felt alive and ready to go. Perhaps if it had been weeks earlier she would have tended to her pelt immediately, but at this point she felt almost prowd of this achievement. "I'm so glad you're here." The pale lioness shifted slightly, not pulling herself away necessarily, but she adjusted to better sit herself up.
nessiaing: Hoaka moved so his mate could sit up more comfortably. He wasn't sure that he should still call her his mate it had been so long since they had been together, but none the less that was how he saw her. Once she was in a seated position and seemed comfortable he moved back close to her. He positioned himself so that if she needed to or wanted to she could lean on him for support.
"Of course I am here my love." he told her in deep but gentle voice. There was a catch in the back of his throat he was still beating himself up for not finding her sooner for not being here. He had first made sure all of his children were well and adjusted, and then he had been travelling. He had heard many romours on his travels. One was what led him to Sabia, but the other had given him hope. He had heard the avalanche had settled and that the pride lands were stable again. He wasn't sure how Sabia felt about her new home regardless of how she felt he would stay or go anywhere with the pale female, now that he had found her again.
"Are you sure that you are alright to be sitting up? " he asked her, she was going to be endlessly coddled now that he was here. He wanted to share all his news with her but he had to know she was alright first.

"It has been so many moons since I've been graced with your wonderful precense. So many moons since I've had the pleasure to inhale your scent." A soft sigh followed in pursuit of the statements as the pale lioness relaxed a touch more. At that moment the moon decided to shine brightly as trees swayed in a breeze. The rays swooped into her place of rest and exited just as quickly. The utter beauty was something she would never get used to, the night time routine had become something of a security for her. Though she hadn't the foggiest what Hoaka was thinking as the desperate ideas of finding her sooner floated through his mind, she did spy a glimpse of trauma in his eyes. "You stress yourself far to much, my warrior." She cooed softly and deep down she hoped that forgiveness was in her voice. "I'm alright sitting this way, it actually allows the blood to flow back to my paws." She mused softly while lifting and giving a good display of shaking some life into her otherwise weak paws.
"What of home? Has there been any news from anyone else?"
The amusement left her, purring dissipated and eyes became clear as still water. Her mind seemed to snap from whatever haze she had been grabbed up by and suddenly she realized he had been around others, perhaps seen her blood relatives. There were so many opportunities for a chance at another roun for her old life. She would admit to enjoying this beautiful night pride and even woudl be grateful for Tyfu, but her heart was in another place nwo that Hoaka was here.
nessiaing: Hoaka smiled happy that she seemed comfortable. For the first tme since he had been in the pride he had began to relax a little. He even let out a little laugh when she said that he worreid too much, "My job is too wory my dear, particularly about you my dear." he nuzzled the top of her head lovingly. He decided for the time being to let her be about the fight and her injuries he could always fret about them and her later. He had a live time with her now, and nothing like this would happen to her again. He refused at this time to accept that she wasn't the sweet lioness that he had left behind.
"I have heard news from home." he told her kindly. "I have heard that the avalanche has settled and that the land may be stable again. I however do not know if anyone is around there." She seemed intreguied by home would this mean she would want to go back?
Green: "Perhaps we should change that job description?" She teased the purpley male lightly and even made a sore movement to gift his jaw witha tender lick. Than the topics shifted and though Hoaka had a gentle look about him and a kind voice she was already thinking. Life had changed so much for her.. a lost home, lost mate, confidence gained and so much more. Her prime focus was that he had stated that the avalanche had settled. Would this mean home was a safe place again? Would there be anyone to go back to? Was it truly worth a second thought? When Sabia came down to it she knew it was absolutely worth a second shot, there was no one to blame for all that occured and should there be a chance to safe and preserve history now was the time.
"Hoaka." She began slowly, the thoughts seemed to be drowning her, though the water was instead a sweet familiar drink. "Have you ever considered going back?" She paused, a brief grimace slipped across her face. It was still such a sore subject, but a fantastic thought. If there was even a sliver of hope to obtain connections again she wanted to take the chance. However she would not want to do such a daunting thing on her own, the travelling alone would weaken her tremendously.

Hoaka nodded, "I have thought about going home, but I don't think you are ready for travels just yet." he sad cuddling her so kindly. He didn't want her to be pushing herslef too soon, "Going back is definitely something we can discuss though."
He sighed a little, "I don't want you getting your hopes up to high though, we don't know if anyone is left, or even how inhabitable the land will be." The avalanche had fallen on them fast and hard, it was possible all that they had known, and loved was burried under feet of snow and ice now. "It will likely be cold there now, colder than it use to be. Are you sure you are up to that?"
Green: "Discuss?" The pale lioness was instantly shocked and almost immediately a temper flared. Fortunately she was able to grab hold of this new emotion before it got the better of her. Taking a deep breath and looking directly to Hoakas eyes she made herself a little more firm in stance and showed that clearly she would not have this open for discussion at all. "Our home, that is our home you wish to discuss?" Her tones were soft, but not gentle. The lioness he used to know was quickly washed away as her passions came flowing freely. "Home is where we should be; home is where we belong Hoaka. If I must travel to determine the state of that than I will do what I must and make such a trip no matter my current state." Feeling that her point had been made she grew silent.
nessiaing: Hoaka swallowed hard, he had never seen Sabia like this before. He took a deep breath before he responded he waned to make sure he wasn't about to say something that would further upset her. This was not the lioness he had left clearly time had changed her. He still loved her to now end but he clearly was going to have to be careful about how he spoke.
"I did not mean to say that it was a debate on whether or not we would go home or not my dear. I would go to the ends of the earth if you told me that was what you wanted. I was more thinking that maybe you would need to regain your strength some and let some of your wounds heel a little before we took the journy."
He took a quick look at her and against his better judgement he followed up with "Perhaps its time you rest again, when you wake we can plan our departure." he told her. He was fearful that she wouldn't take well to being told to rest but it was true if she wanted to make this trip he was going to insist she got her rest and healed before they left, that was one point he would not budge one.
