After quite the rude awakening from the pod, Momo had been instructed to walk her s**t down a dark staircase into this creepy old cave. It was dark but there was still a faint light so she wouldn't go falling head over heels down the stairs anytime soon.
At least she hoped. Cause that would suck big time. To wake up then fall down the stairs and crack your head open. That would be sad. And hilarious actually. Momo wondered if anyone had ever done that. Just woke up from the pod then died not long after because of some misadventure. She'd have to investigate sometime. It'd make for a pretty depressing song though. Or something awesome. She made a mental note.
The heels of her boots clicked against the stone stairs as she made her way down into the dark. It was pretty ******** creepy in this place but Momo wasn't scared. Not one damn bit. When she reached the bottom of the stairs she hopped over the last two, landing perfectly. Well, almost perfectly. She had wobbled a bit before her balance was solid once more. Now she was faced with tall walls that glowed and hummed. Almost as if the rock was singing.
Reaching out a hand, she touched the cool stone. Her long painted nails scraping against the rough surface as she walked along running her fingers against the wall. Momo closed her eyes and listened, listened to the humming stone. Letting it draw her in. To pull her along in an almost trance like state.
Finally she found herself stopped in one particular spot, her fingers wrapping around a particularly large stone. She gave it a tug and it popped right out of the wall easy enough. Standing there with the rune in her hand, she listened to it. A voice deep and dark called out to her but she could not make out exactly what it was saying. When she opened her eyes finally the Mist trainee looked down at the rune in her hand. It glowed faintly with the symbol of a large looking sword. "So I guess you're mine then." The rune shuddered before disappearing.
"Finally you have come." A voice in her head. Deep and smooth, yet formal and proper sounding.
"What is your name?" She asked curiously, staring at the silver serpentine ring that appeared on her left hand's middle finger.
"Kurokoushaku."
She grinned. Dark red lips pulling tight over white teeth. "Fitting. My Black Prince."
"Momo Hayashi, we are partners now. Do not disappoint or dishonor us."
Rubbing her nose with her thumb Momo laughed. "Boy, you sure know how to pick em then." Waving a hand dismissively. "I'll try my best but I make no promises." She could hear a slight grumble in her head, it would take a bit of time to get used to that. Having a voice in her head that she couldn't really see. "Well my prince, its time to get going. We've got some work to do and a bit of settling in."
"Right. I'm sure you are quite ready to get settled in to wherever we are staying and make companions. I look forward to watching your progress."
"Yeeeaaaaaaaaa, I think we're going to have to work on the way you speak as well. Its kiiinnndddd of weird and creeptastic. I mean not like that's a bad thing.....but an update on your vocabulary might be a good idea." She began to make her way back towards the stairs, fiddling with the ring on her finger. It would take some getting used to that as well.
