Eoin wandered in the shallows, his bracelets clinking as they fluttered against each other in the current. It was sunny again, and especially lovely and warm - that was one thing, among many, that he loved about the ocean. No matter where he was, he could usually find both warmer temperatures and cooler temperatures; it all depended on where he was, whether it was in the shallows where it was the warmest, or at the bottom of the reef, where it was nearly chilling. The ocean was always accommodating where the surface was almost unbearable. The air up there was too dry, and it was either sweltering or freezing, depending on the wind. Yes, Eoin loved his ocean.
Settling in near the beach, the little seathi waited for a passerby to wander by. He had a plan - inform everyone who went by of the business he did, the trading. Perhaps he would get some new customers today... He could always use more. There was always some new treasure to be traded for, or a new friend to make. One could never have too many friends.
the gothic beauty 2 Please forgive my fail starter, idk what's up with my muse. >.<;

Nerissa was debating on if she wanted to leave the comfort of her little coral cave or go and play in the warm waters she knew were just outside. It would be fun to play in the shallows a bit so she decided to head out for the day. Besides, she could find some trinkets she was sure of it!
As she swam through the water she kept her eyes on the sands, picking up the twinkle of a piece of jewelry. She didn't know what it was, but she was interested in it and swam down towards it. It seemed someone had dropped a pink sparkly bracelet and she grinned. Sure, it wasn't her color, but she liked it enough and attempted to put it on one of her front legs. It wasn't easy, but she managed well enough and surprisingly it stayed.
As she made her way to the beach, she spotted something she had never seen before. There was someone there that looked like her, but didn't look like her. This individual was black with neon colors and had the shape of a male. Of course she didn't know that Eoin was male, since she had been alone until now. It seemed she had been to temperamental to keep friends.

When Eoin heard the distinctive swish of a nixseathi tail in the water behind him, he thought for certain that Uncle Ronnie or Flurry had come to fetch him from the beach for whatever reason, though he had only just gotten here. And so, when he turned around to see a small orange soquili floating in the waters behind him, he flinched in surprise. His seathi instincts were good enough to avoid a gasp - it wouldn't do to drown in shallow water and wash up where only his brother and sister could find him. That wouldn't do at all.
The little orange seathi across from him was as bright as he was dark, easy to pick out in the water, though her blue fins and few blue markings made her a tiny bit easier to miss. Her coloring was so distinctive that, at first, Eoin completely missed her pixie headwings - nixseathi tails were common enough; it only made sense that he would run into another one out here sometime.
And then, of course, he noticed her headwings. And did a double take.
A pixnixseathi? was his first thought, jamming all the names for the breeds together, just as his family had done for him; he was a nixquilinicorn-seathi. His next thought also came out of his mouth. "Who are you?" he asked. He did his best not to sound accusing, like she was intruding on his space, for it wasn't that at all. Curiosity was the driving force behind the question - he wanted to know everything about this mare (or at least, he thought she was a mare). He wanted to know where she was from, her history, if she knew who her parents had been... All of it. He wanted to know it all.

Nerissa looked at the black seathi crossbreed before her and tilted her head to the side. She swam around him taking a look at all his features noticing the horn on his head. So he was some kind of unicorn crossbreed? She had never met anyone like him and was curious.
"I could ask the same thing of you. Who are you and what are you?" She asked him clearly curious about the male before her. She wanted to know if he was similar to her and was 'created' from the sea itself or if he had parents.
