It was unknown, what that poor dummy had done to ire Leslie, but it was surely something. He was walloping it with great frustration, annoyed with life itself. Seemed to be a trend, lately. It made him tunnel vision, too: nothing else existed outside this training field, outside this target that had no choice but to sit and endure the abuse. Leslie didn't notice anyone else approaching.

An inane urge for violence had come over Lex - not bloodshed nor maiming, but a good fist fight. A bar brawl, like the old days. It may have been egged on by Regal, and Lex may have agreed with the gryphon for once. After all, the pistol had his days.
And wouldn't you know it, there was a trainee on the field who looked like they needed to get out some aggression.
Lex made no efforts in concealing himself from the boy, even went as far to clear his throat before-

Lex actaully cracked a grin and barked out a short laugh, pulling out his pistol and shooting Leslie in retaliation. "Problem? Not sure. Just figured fighting another person was far better than some dummy." His smile was whimsy, though the bite of his bullets serious.

Jesus christ, this guy spelled douchebag in every conceivable way. Leslie rolled his shoulders, inhaling sharply. Long range was bad for him, but he didn't care.
