Life Hunter BATTLE ARENA General Information The portal opens up into an observation room, and down the stairs, an odd chamber for something like hunter training. At the center of a piranha-filled pool stands a solid stone table and several chairs. The Life Arena was built underneath the demolitions and ballistics testing areas, and the chamber rumbles with the occasional explosions above. Pinpoint red lasers sweep across the room regularly, as if hidden snipers are searching for a nice target. In the center of the table sits a wooden tower, made up of smaller wooden blocks. Yes. That's right. The Life Hunters prefer to train via Jenga.
Note: Distraction techniques and Yo Momma jokes are considered viable weapons when playing competitively.
If you fail: you have knocked down the tower! A small dart hits the back of your neck. You come to several hours later, and hope Dr. H didn't do anything to your body while you were unconscious. When you look into the mirror...
If you win: you have reached 50 points! You get a sharpie marker to do with as you please. peen points go to those with the highest scores.
Group Play Playing in a group on any course means certain things can be shifted to make it a better experience for multiple people without holding anyone back. An approved group play alteration for the life arena goes as follows: When someone knocks the tower down, they are shot with a weaker dart. They will wake up 5 minutes later, the game can be reset back to the point before it fell by placing their hands on the table and saying the word, constructum. This allows them to start again where they left off instead of the beginning. They can take up to three of these darts before passing out for an hour, the game will not reset for them and they will need to try again from the beginning.
Mechanics - by carefully removing pieces of the tower, you earn points and advance to the next round. As the rounds continue, the odds grow steadily against you. Rolling a 1 at any point means you have knocked down the tower. Please do enjoy your mystery dart. Anything after reaching 50 points is purely for peen.
- you may roll pieces individually (suggested for group play) or in batches of 5 (basically, a full round.)
Round 1
Pieces: 5 Points per piece: 1 Trainee Roll: 1d10 Life Trainee Roll: 1d12 Hunter Roll: 1d12 Life Hunter Roll: 1d20
Round 2

Round 3

Round 4
Pieces: 5 Points per piece: 10 Trainee Roll: 1d4 Life Trainee Roll: 1d6 Hunter Roll: 1d6 Life Hunter Roll: 1d8
Bonus Mechanics Life Hunters train for precise hand eye coordination and exceptional judgement, thus they have a slightly lower chance of knocking down the tower.

pinchmonster Text to Paige: Training time, gorgeous. Get your a** out here, before I have to come looking for you. He hoped the threat carried through digital text, because if the other Mist didn't show, he really would hunt her down, and then they'll be hell to pay.

She was really, really, really hoping that he'd forgotten.
"I was really, really, really hoping that you'd forgotten."
Paige looked and sounded disgruntled as ******** dicks on faces. Deal?"

"No such luck, sweetheart. Memory like a steal trap." He grinned, reaching out to pat her cheek condescendingly. "No dicks, that's the deal." He didn't want graffiti on his face any more than she did, no matter how tempting it might have been to be the one wielding the marker. There was just no assurances here, so precautions were needed. An exaggerated gesture urged her forward. "Ladies first."

Paige stuck her tongue out at Zeke before stomping over to the table. She'd heard a lot of awful s**t about this course. "Okay, if we take this slow, we should probably maybe be okay. Probably. I can't believe I said I'd do this. There's so many more interesting things we could be doing. I could name off like.. three off the top of my ******** head, Zeke. Three. At least." Paige slipped one piece free. Thank ******** god. Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 1 Total Points: 1

Zeke offered an indulgent roll of his eyes. Then, apparently, decided to test the validity of their deal, because he accidentally knocked the tower over on the first pull. { What is Jack's name-} Lagertha's nagging was cut off by a sharp pain in his neck and the world suddenly going black. He woke up about five minute's later, temporarily groggy, and leveled a bleary eyed look at Paige. "S'not so bad.." { -utterly worthless sometimes. I don't even know why I ********, Laggy. Shut up." His head lifted slowly, hands over his ears(because that'd help), and sighed.
When things were a touch clearer he investigated his arms for signs of graffiti.

Paige didn't draw anything on his face. But she did draw a big grinning d**k on his stomach. And another over each of his nipples. They looked really happy, almost like they were dancing. And then Paige calmly took another piece and waited for Zeke to wake up. Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 2 Total Points: 2

His arms appeared to be marker free, but there were so many other places, and Paige was a creative girl. At the very least, he knew his face was devoid of dicks. All the same, he narrowed a look at her before sliding a piece free and replacing it on the top. "I hear it's of the utmost importance we complete this course." Hands folded on the table. "Something about bandages." Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 1 Total Points: 1

Zeke stared across at his fellow Mist, eyes narrowing, as he noticed just how shiny the ones staring back at him were. "Something funny, Paige?" If she'd broken the deal she'd pay, it was simple as that. As for how he was feeling? Another piece was claimed from the tower, and he set it on top with only minor shakiness on his part. "I'm fine." A beat, then he added. "Probably." Grinning, he folded his hands again. "I hear strange and unusual s**t is to be expected here. Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 2 Total Points: 2

"You're not very convincing," he informed her, pale eyes narrowing before sliding away to check his arms again. They were still clean. She'd probably drawn on the back of his neck. There was a slim chance she'd disregarded their deal, drawn on his face, and he'd be none the wiser until he hand a chance to check a mirror later. it would be in her best interest, though, not to have done that. Returning his gaze to her, he slid another piece free and stacked it on top. It didn't so much as wobble. "How how have thing been going down under with Cee?" "Things with me and Cee going just fine." Paige pursed her lips and tugged another piece free. "We might go get some tats together once I got some days of leave. I told her I didn't want her to ******** no other chicks." Paige shrugged. "But then I told her I knew I had a good thing going on and I didn't want to ruin s**t, so I guess we both still just doing what we wanna do." Paige tapped the piece against the table and glanced up at Zeke. "How's things going with Hurricane?" Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 5

"Fine is good," he mused, propping his chin up, cradle din one chin as he watched her. "So long as you're happy, I'm happy for you." It wasn't something he said often, because there just weren't that many people he gave a s**t about. As she turned the conversation back on him he'd smirk and reach for a piece. "Going swimmingly." They hung out, they ********, they hung out some more. It was a nicely uncomplicated set up they had going. He reached up to stack his piece on top of the others, but was caught by a sudden sneeze that sent pieces scattering. He was slumped over the table again before the last one had come to a stop beneath Paige's chair. Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 4 Total Points: 4

Paige watched Zeke crumple, a loud bark of laughter echoing throughout the cavernous room. Digging around in her back pocket she removed the sharpie and worked fast to tug the back of his shirt up so that she could scrawl a crude picture of stick people doing it doggy style between his shoulders. She was back in her seat and settling her own piece at the top of the tower. Status Round: 2 Pieces Taken: 6 Total Points: 8
