[PRP] Hungry Night Dwellers (Imp x Romano)

Romano was hungry. This wasn't to say he hadn't been hungry before in his life, it would be unnatural to say so. As a leopard who struggled for survival as he walked with a rather striking coat, hunger was not unfamiliar to him. No, what stood out particularly well about his hunger for today, (or rather tonight, since he was most certainly not one to wake voluntarily during daylight hours!) was that he hadn't eaten for three days. Maybe others had been used to fasting for such an extended period, but those others were most certainly not Romano.

He sat near a stump from what was once a tree many years earlier, a lean and somewhat disappointing hare having been set upon it and the leopard merely glaring at his catch.

This was barely going to last him five minutes, how was it suppose to make up for three days worth of no food?

"Well this sucks." He voiced aloud with a sigh.

The need for another skull bowl, as well as other bones meant she had to hunt and not just any animal would do, she had to scoop out ones that would fit the bill she needed.

The buck had been exactly what she had been looking for, and his horns were beautiful, his death had been a blessing. And as she whispered her praises to those she worshiped, she used her claws to rip out his throat as his eyes grew wide and then lifeless as his blood split over her paw and claws.

She started to drag him away from the mourning herd, she paused as the scent of another caught her blood soaked senses, she glanced around until her glowing orbs fell onto the male.

She eyed his catch, and decided that it had a nice skull she would be pleased to add her to collection. As she eyed the large male, and the tiny kill..A plan clicked into her mind.

"Greeting night hunter.." She said as she turned herself towards him, not moving to far from her kill. "I'll let you fill your belly with this buck, if I can have the skull of your kill." She offered.

"The skull of my kill?" Romano repeated as a question. How peculiar what ever would a living creature, a fellow leopard, want with a skull? A small and non-impressive skull too. Though he looked at the female and noted her head looked to appear as if itself was a skull as well. So she had a thing for skulls? Seemed plausible.

"What's it for?" He asked calmly. He asked in curiosity really, not because he was wary of what she intended to do with it. Black magic, he decided, was something he never fully been convinced existed.

He stepped a little closer to the leopardess, a more importantly closer to the prey that she had behind her. His stomach was clawing with hunger and Romano fought to keep from appearing to drool at the sight of a real catch.

"Yes, the skull is small but well rounded. Will make a beautiful catching bowl, or even the cap to a wind chime." She saw nothing odd about her request, she had grown up in a coven of like minded leopards.

"It can be used for many different things, catching bowl, cap to chimes, a blood cup.." She tilted her head to the side, eyeing him carefully.

She could all be read the disbelief on his face. But what she saw growing more, was the his hunger for her much larger kill.

His hunger eventually swayed his decision with it's delicious and tasty smelling temptation. To a point that the deal became something he couldn't refuse.

"Alright." He told her. "It's such a small skull, but if you think it's useful then by all means, take it."

Romano stepped closer to his newly traded meal although stopped for a moment to engage in further conversation. He was curious about something. "Do you often use skulls to make things?" He asked. Then with a lighthearted grin, "and I suppose you'll want this buck's skull too?"
