 Tor was back out again after a disappointing week, in several ways. They had been so close to finishing off the shadow followers, and his favorite fighting buddy had to avoid him now. Bah, that Death god sounded boring, not letting a good warrior work on getting more skilled. he was hoping to find a new sparring buddy to train more, and he spotted a very shiny and nicely dressed darkness follower. "Hey you, wanna fight?" he calls out as he rushes in, giving the guy a fair chance to turn around before his tails lash out to try and yank Tri's feet out from under him. HP: 20

 Triellyn hadn't been having much luck in this war in general; his abysmal victory tally stung him constantly, like a wasp trapped in his tunic, and he was determined to do his part to preserve his fellow followers. A sudden shout behind him gave him just enough time to pause before the tail came lashing in. He quickly jumped up to avoid the barbed thing, coming away with just a scratch on one of his feet. He grinned at the cursed before him. "Kick your a**? I thought you'd never ask!" Pulling his dagger out from the folds of his tunic, he lunged at the other, aiming a stab at one of the cursed's seemingly fragile wings. HP: 19

"That's what I like to hear!" he says, grinning, turning to get a minimal wound to his wing as two daggers appear in his hands, both stabbing for Triel's stomach. HP: 18

Triel couldn't suppress a snort; not one of THESE again. Much as he liked morbid humor, he found that it made it a bit harder to take fighting with such cursed seriously. Though there was nothing light about the twin daggers that came charging in and bore twin holes in his stomach. Hissing and pulling back to try and keep them from turning into gut-spilling rips, he turned his body to the side and aimed a kick at the other, trying to aim for the midriff. HP: 16

"What's so funny?" he asked as he heard the snort. He spun to catch a light brushing from the kick and his tails moved out again to try and wrap around Triel's planted leg to try again to haul him down. HP: 17

"Your face." was all Triellyn could think of at that moment, and even he admitted it was a pretty sad comeback. Well no matter; this was fought with brawn, not brain; pretty much the reason why he was doing so badly. As though to emphasize his thought, the tail snaked around his supporting leg and brought him crashing to the ground, knocking the wind out of him and causing the leg from his failed kick to dash painfully against the other. Gritting his teeth, he tried to use his position on the ground to reach out and try to yank as hard as he could on the tail that had brought him down. HP: 12

"Pfft, you can do better than that," he chuckles at the comeback, though a moment later his tail is pulled and he practically gives an almost girly squeak. "Ow!" he says, pulled off balance, but his other tail, holding a small knife, lashes out to try and stab Triel while he's on the ground. HP: 14

Triellyn couldn't help but laugh a little at the high-pitched squeak of the other as the tail was pulled. "Now THAT was funny!" He yelped and tried to roll away as he saw the incoming twin tail with the knife (those sure came in handy; if they weren't so unsightly....) The rolling wasn't enough as the knife scored a deep cut in his back, and Triel had to scramble up to avoid getting dirt into it from the rolling. Trying to dash in again, he veered off at the last second and tried to stab downward with his dagger at one of the tails, intending to pin it to the ground like a bug. HP: 10

"Well whatever makes you have fun," he chuckles, starting to move his tails back out of the way but he's not really successful, one gets stabbed and he yelps again. "Hey lay off the tails," he snarks as the tail with the hand passes the dagger up to his waiting hand and he stabs at Triel's side as his tail hand tries to unstick his poor pinned tail. HP: 11

Triellyn grinned wider, seeing that he seemed to have hit a sensitive spot with the cursed that was, at the moment, kicking his butt. "Oh no, I can't do that. Maybe I'll cut one off as a trophy and have it stitched on; they seem quite handy." The dagger stab came in quickly, and left him starting to wheeze; he had better step it up if he was to survive this. Since his dagger was still working as a pin for the tail, he balled his hand into a fist and aimed a punch at the other's face. HP: 8

"Hey trophies are fine, just not a part of me, please. Personally I was thinking of taking one of your shinies bak to my sister for a present," he chuckles, dodging the punch. Finally freeing his tail, he attempts an all out attack. In a blink both of his hands have daggers along with his tail which has pulled Triel's own dagger free, and the other tail, even damaged, still worked, and had its spaded tip. He aimed the daggers in his hands at Triel's shoulders, and the two tails aimed to stab the priest in the back of the knees. HP: 10

"Well at least you aren't cutting my clothes apart and making swimwear out of them." Triel was going to have a REALLY hard time forgetting that particular fight, and it hadn't even happened during this war! The sudden onslaught from the daggers would have been impressive, but Triel had been watching to see what would become of his freed dagger, and spying the incoming arsenal, he had to throw himself practically flat on his face to avoid most of it; the blow to back of the knees was low already and didn't have much trouble painfully pricking him. Hoping his knees wouldn't give out as a result, Triellyn staggered back up and tried a full-out tackle, hoping in the scuffle to retrieve his dagger, or at least 'borrow' one of the cursed's. HP: 7

Tor was pretty impressed at how Tri avoided nearly all of that, so surprised he was easily tackled. "Oof!" he says as he lands. "Oh, you want it down and dirty, huh?" he grins as he hauls off a punch at Tri's face. HP: 6

The punch caused Triel to blink, but he had felt harder before, and his face still seemed desirable enough that his Lord hadn't seen fit to banish him to the depths. Grinning a rather feral grin, he reaches out and tries to grab fistfuls of the other's purple hair in order to yank on it as hard as he can. HP: 6

Tor didn't do much with his punch and feels his hair yanked. "Ow!" That hurt worse than it did with his tail, and he lashes his tails out again to try and stab the guy in the back. HP: 3
