Wand (wall) by Lord Puffandsnuff III
1 canister per 4 cubic meters of wall
The spell does not have a specific incantation, but rather a formula. It consists of three numbers: length, width, and height but the product of the three numbers cannot exceed 4. Some Quincy have been able to add other formulae to change the shape of the wall, these incantations can take quite a bit more time.
The user throws the canister, and says the incantation. The canister breaks and forms a wall of reishi. The exact size is determined by the incantation. Normal walls are simple rectangular blocks. Some more mathematically inclined Quincy can add other formula to change the shape of the wall, from a simple arc to brain-bending fractals. The walls are quite durable; 20 cm is capable of blocking most Tier 1 Hado techniques. The thicker the wall, the more it can survive. However, the wall is just that, a wall. It can be avoided or destroyed with a powerful enough attack. It is also able to be absorbed by a strong Quincy. It is considered by many (except massive math nerds) to be one of the most boring techniques ever made. However, its simplicity makes it a useful technique to learn the basics of Ginto.
Wolke (緑杯 [ヴォルコル], vorukōru; German for "Cloud", Japanese for "Green Cup")
The practitioner uses a Gintō to create a large blast, which cushions the impact of a fall with the Reiryoku contained inside of the Gintō.
Gritz (五架縛 (グリツ), gurittsu; Japanese for "Five Frame Bonds")
1 canister
"A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!"
A film of Reishi emitted from a thrown Gintō surrounds the enemy. This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross, which envelops its target.
Heizen (聖噬 [ハイゼン], haizen; German for "Heating", Japanese for "Sacred Bite")
4 canisters
"Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite!"
Heizen instantly gouges and purges whatever is enclosed in the space made by the four tossed Gintō. This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from the silver tubes which slices through the opponent. It is tremendously effective, even against Menos Grande.
Stahlgabel (鋼ヨーク, German for Steel Yoke) by Yaroki
3 canisters
"Prisons form as these fangs pierce through"
The user pours three silver tubes charged with their spiritual energy onto the ground. They then recite the incantation causing spikes of energy to emerge from the ground peircing and trapping the foe. Incantation:
Jungen Schale (駆け出しの シェル, German for Fledgling Shell) by Yaroki
1 canister per 1 liter
The user fills two silver tubes with their spiritual energy before pouring the contents into the air around them. Once released the user can then manipulate the liquid into small square shapes capable of blocking weak projectile attacks. The strength of these shields depend on the amount of silver tubes used. Incantation: None
Hagoromo (はごろも, Japanese for Robe of Feathers) by Yaroki
5 canisters
This technique, instead of focusing on binding or attacking, uses the spiritual energy stored within five silver capsules to empower the Quincy themselves. When used, the Quincy momentarily takes the appearance of a figure clad in a white light with six, large wings that shine brightly. When used, the Quincy can release a single attack at full power. Afterwards, the energy withers away and the Quincy returns to normal, although a cool-down time is required before this spell can be used again and seems to wind the one using it.
Sprenger (破芒陣 [シュプレンガ], shupurenga; German for "Explosion", Japanese for "Ripping Grass Formation")
1 canister, 5 Seele Schneider
This technique uses five Seele Schneider to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, creates a massive explosion within its borders. When an object or a person stands within the middle of the pentagon, the placement of the fifth Seele Schneider can trap them by wrapping and binding their legs to the ground with dense Reishi. The Seele Schneider function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of Reishi to create the explosion. The liquid inside of a Gintō acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique, combined with the charging time, makes using Sprenger while in battle impractical unless the user has a partner who can stall to buy time or enough strength to create the formation while under attack.
Kirchenlied: Sankt Zwinger (聖唱: 聖域礼賛 (キルヒエンリート: ザンクト・ツヴィンガー), Kiruhienrīto: Zankuto Tsuvingā; German for "Church Hymn: Saint Ward", Japanese for "Holy Chant: Sanctuary Veneration")
13 canisters
This technique is the single greatest protective magic of Quincy offense and defense. By generating a number of roman numeral-inscribed constructs from the fingers of an outstretched hand, several towering columns of Reishi, shaped like the Quincy Cross, erupt upwards in a circular formation around the practitioner. Anyone who steps foot within the confines of this area will be immediately rent asunder where they stand by the "light of God". 12 canisters need to be placed equidistant from one another in a perfect circle while the last one needs to be placed at the center. The caster must be standing within the circle to initiate the spell by calling its name.
