This may seem like a good reason not to use her powers but using her powers creates an addictive "rush" and prolonged periods without use result in withdrawal symptoms.
Secrets:Alexis sees what she believes to be her brother’s ghost, but it is really a manifestation of her guilt and despair at being unable to save him.

Bio:Alexis used to have stronger powers but her and her brother were beaten, tortured and experimented on to try and unlock their full potential.
One day their captors went too far and beat Alexis until she almost died. Her brother sacrificed himself to save her life. Enraged at his death Alexis’ powers ran wild and destroyed the building they were kept in, along with their captors.
Alexis now searches for a way to bring her brother back to life.
