His guilt picks at his heart as a reminder.

His insecurities prohibit him from approaching others; instead, push them off. He has grown to like his loneliness whether he wanted to or not. On his own most of the time, he is very secretive and rather keep himself mysterious than known. Expressing his thoughts and opening up to people proved to be extremely difficult to him, thus storing his up emotions inside and incapable of letting it go. Which is why he is careful not associate himself with anyone, it makes him self-conscious. He doesn't want to harm others and doesn't want others to harm him. But behind all these curtains and fake mask one will come to realize he is innocent and pure-hearted. He usually keeps an eye on those around him from afar just in case they needed help.
Bio:
Eugene has no recollection of his biological parent; vaguely and barely remember their faces. He could only recall at the age of five the day they left him in a cemetery and abandoned him. His silent cries were weak and frail, couldn't fight the mist enshrouding his vision. He neither knew of his race and what trouble it follows. He was found the next day by the police and taken into a foster home. They were kind and cared about him. They treated him like their own but he had obstacles coping up with them and their children. Their food tasted horrible to him and made him sick. He spewed after every meal and had stomachaches. Taken to many doctors he was told to be perfectly healthy. Eugene disagreed and knew something was wrong because he smelled an appetizing aroma whenever he sat with them and had urges to eat them. One day he lost hold of himself and his image went black, the next thing he saw was their tore cadaver and unrecognizable faces. He ran away and returned to where he thought he belonged—the cemetery. Discovered again by a single woman, she took him in even though he refused to leave. She knew what he was and still insisted to take him home. Eugene then swore to never let that day happen again and learnt how to ignore his hunger. She raised him to behave like a human, to eat, drink like them without getting sick. He blended in well with students at school and never told them the truth. But his days in that school were over when his sole family passed away from illness and he decided to go somewhere far.
Extra: Covering his face calms him down, so he wears a mask.
