Seabreeze stood on the cliff edge and let the salty air blow into her face, pure sweet and briney just the way she liked it. Something touched her, shoving her roughly and then she was a little too close to the salty air then she wanted to be. The water rushed up to meet her and she thought she had seen her last until she came up sputtering and flailing, gasping for precious air. Who would push her?! Better yet how would she get out of here? There were cliffs as far as she could see to either side...well didn't this just suck?

Solomon had been absently swimming when suddenly he felt the ripples of something crashing into the water. Whatever it was wasn't his size, but it wasn't that much smaller than him either. Curious, he swam towards it, the long tip of his tail fin poking out of the water along with his dorsal fin. It was an Azrein--the land version. She was flailing... he supposed the lack of fins would make it a bit difficult to move... He wordlessly swept towards her, circling. Did she need help? Or did she not? He wasn't sure...

Seabreeze gulped, her eyes starting to water....that was a shark fin...she didn't know they had sharks here but she had heard of them. She stopped moving and sadly sunk beneath the waves. Oh great like I can breathe down here....then a great bubble of air escaped, the being before her was beautiful and terrifying.. and if she didn't move now she would take in a big mouthful of seawater. She paddle with her front hooves and brought her nose above the water again. Blessed air!
So she wanted to ask..."Are you going to eat me or not?"

Solomon lifted his head above the water and cocked his head as he circled. "Eat you? Why would I do that?" he asked, completely puzzled. "I was wondering if you needed assistance or not. I'm not terribly familiar with land Azrein, you see... and usually when I see them, they're, well, on land."
He circled once more before adding, "If you need some help, just grab on. I don't mind taking you back to shore, if that's what you need." He tilted his head back and forth as he casually swam around the mare. "Though how did you get all the way out here? Usually I only see land Azrein at the beach..."

"Oh," she squeaked happily, "I am in need of some help actually, er.. well I was on land but I think someone shoved me off a cliff...that one up there see, with the twisted tree on it. Falling is not pleasant."
"I can swim but the current here is rather tough so I don't think I would quite make it to shore...maybe in three days but I would get hungry and tired before then. It a er pleasure to meet you, I am Seabreeze, and thank you for your help. Do I just grab your dorsal fin their somehow?"

Solomon looked up at the cliff, assuming that the gnarled thing sticking up from it was the "tree" that she was talking about. They didn't have trees in the water, after all. "I see. Falling does not sound pleasant." But he wouldn't know; you couldn't fall when in the water either.
"Ah, I see. I am Solomon. It's nice to meet you, Seabreeze." At her question, he rocked his head back and forth in thought. "Well, whatever is the easiest way for you to hold on, I suppose," he replied. He hadn't done something like this before.
