Was with the family most of the time due to my Grandmother's death and all.

You and your family have my condolences.
I too have lost family members. A couple of months ago, I lost my mother-in-law, 7 years ago a stepmother and years before that my grandfather, and before that my grandmother. The hardest for me was when my sister died in a car accident.
As cruel as it may sound, time does lessen the loss but the sadness never does go away completely. In my opinion the best thing to do is try and remember all the good times you may have spent with your grandmother. Lastly, I hope you did have some enjoyment in visiting the family.
