Lysa Graves was no stranger to sharing sleeping quarters with strangers. Actually out of the entire experience this aspect of training bothered her the least. While others scampered about around her, gossiping about whether or not they would take a top bunk, Lysa kept her steady pace. Dorm Luchse was much like any other dorm, or so she'd gathered, with the only exception being that it was the furthest away from the latrines.

The only thing that got a rise out of her was the ever present ache in her lower back. After orientation the new recruits had taken to running paces and Lysa hurt. They hadn't even been given the full monty, and she had broken out in so much sweat that her already bouncy girls had taken on a whole new level of kink.

Ticking off the dorm doors as she walked, Lysa finally paused outside of the one she had been assigned. She ran a hand through her bangs, pulling and tugging until she thought they looked alright, when actually they looked as she felt; limp, tired and covered in sweat. Her soft green eyes hardened into ice chips when she knocked on the door just a second before opening it.

Amalia sighed to herself. Finally she was free from Yesenia, at least for now. She'd worked up a fair amount of sweat during the run, which was just fine by her, and had come to the dorm to cool off. A knock came at the door, and Amalia turned, expecting to see Yesenia barging in, but instead it was someone she'd never met before. Of course, that was to be expected - she was new here, after all.

The green haired girl took in the sight of the other trainee quickly; her long strawberry blonde hair, green eyes that matched her own, and pale skin. All in all, she was an extremely attractive woman, but Amalia quickly pushed such thoughts aside. She gave the other a small wave and an even smaller greeting. "Yo."

While she held onto the door knob, Lysa kept the hip farthest from the door unconsciously cocked. She gave the other woman a not so subtle once over, starting from the base of her boots, up her dark skin, and settling on those lovely green eyes.

Lysa didn't offer a smile, as she wasn't quite sure how to edge around her new roommate. Flattery was exhausting and she wouldn't waste her skills if there wasn't some sort of compensation in the end. "Hello." Lysa stepped into the room, and used the heel of her boot to shut the door before she leaned back against it. "Which bed is free?"

Amalia stripped off her jacket and sat down on the bed nearest to her before making a grand, sweeping gesture around the room. "Take your pick. You're the second one here." Kicking off her boots, Amalia stretched her legs momentarily before falling backwards onto the bed.

Abruptly, she sat back up and looked over at her new roommate. "Name's Amalia Stern. What's yours?"

Taking her off her jacket was one of the least graceful endeavors Lysa had even accomplished. As soon as she rotated her shoulder to get the first sleeve off she winced, pulling her stoic face into a grimace. The other shoulder wasn't much better and when it was over she was left rubbing her aching muscles.

So if she had her pick, should she go up or down? The lower bed was closer and so very tempting, but a higher elevation would mean less interactions. She looked up at the top bunk of the opposing set of beds that Amalia was in, and started to climb up. It took a while, and once she was on the bed she flopped onto her stomach face first into her pillow. With a loud sigh she turned her head to the side so she could speak.

"Lysa Graves." Shifting onto her side, Lysa propped her head up with her arm.

Amalia watched Lysa wince taking off her jacket before disappearing onto the top bunk, but said nothing. Standing up, Amalia turned around to look up at Lysa. "'Lysa', huh? That short for something?" Backing up a bit, she leaned back against the other set of beds, crossing her arms under her chest.

"It's just Lysa." She answered simply and moved so that she was sitting cross legged on her bed. Lying down on her side was too close to actual sleep, and the temptation was far too strong for her to fight it for long. So she sat up, forcing her muscles into action once again.

"Before we start getting chummy I think we should set up boundaries." Lysa gave Amalia a stern look and folded her arms over her legs so she could lean forward. "You have some rules, I have some rules; I think if we get that out of the way now we won't have any problems. Don't you agree?"

Lifting one foot up, she planted it against the rim of the bed. "Fine by me." Amalia shrugged. "I don't have much that I want; just don't piss me off, and we'll probably be good." She nodded her head toward the other woman. "How about you?"

"You're going to have to be more specific if you don't want me to piss you off. What sets you off, and I'll try my best to avoid doing it." Lysa moved to pull her hair from it's ponytail, which was a chore, as the strands had fused to the ribbon.

"I have four simple rules. Number one," She held up one finger. "My things are not to be touched. Ever." Lysa held up two fingers with her free hand. "Number two, I don't give a damn if he's your twin or a fiance, there will be no men in this room at all. If you absolutely must have one in here I ask that you wait until I am not here."

Finally she managed to free her hand, but by the time it was over her arms were too tired to work it into the braid she normally slept in. As a result knotted strawberry blonde curls weaved around her arms and behind her back. "The third is that I tend to cook when I am stressed, so if you are allergic to anything, let me know now. Granted, it's more of a fact, but there it is. As for the fourth, it's a fairly simple warning; if you are keen to break the rest, do not tamper with this one. I am never to be asked about my past." She had never spoken so much in her entire life and the act left her jaws exhausted.

Amalia pursed her lips. "That's a fair question, I suppose. Lots of things piss me off. Hurting people who don't deserve it is probably my biggest one. Don't talk s**t about my friends, don't make fun of my scar, and... s**t, there's too much to list. ******** it, don't do those three things and I'll try not to b***h at you. Fair?"

She listened as Lysa rattled off her rules one by one. She couldn't help but be curious about rules two and four, but she wasn't Yesenia. She wasn't going to pry, especially when she had been explicitly asked not to. Instead, she decided to focus on rule three. "What do you cook, if that's not going into your backstory? And I don't have any allergies to my knowledge, to answer your question."

"Fair." Lysa actually smiled a little. Those were easy enough rules to follow, and since hurting people was one of her pet peeves as well she was relieved to see it bugged others. "I'm sure I'll do my fair share of things worthy of being bitched at, so don't feel like you have to hold anything back. I'm tougher than I look."

Internally, anyway. Externally she was as soft as a down blanket, and was sure she was already beginning to bruise. Her fair skin would never be the same. "Whatever is around, usually. I'm better at breads and sweets than main dishes." Those were the foods that a chef could be creative with. Meat was just...ugly.

"Sweets, huh? Amalia grinned. "If you're good at making sweets, we should be able to get along just fine, bitching or no."

Sorry for the delay! Midterms were crazy. @o@

Lysa propped her back up against the wall with a pillow, and smiled a little brighter. "I can't promise perfection, but I've always been a fan of sweets that taste better than they look." Appearances were deceptive. The sweeter a treat looked, the more bitter and corrupt it was internally; and she was no exception.

"I don't think I'll ever really get used to all of that running." Her feet were already beginning to blister, and it was the first day! She could only hope she wouldn't gain any unsightly muscles in her calves. Lysa had no intention of looking butch.

No worries! Hope everything went alright~

Amalia shrugged. "So long as it tastes good, that's fine by me." In regards to the comment about running, she chuckled. "Personally, I loved it. Worked up a good sweat." She put the foot she had behind her on the ground and planted her other foot in it's place.

Lysa clucked her tongue, and shook her head. "You have got to be kidding me. Baldy ran us until some poor girl puked." She, unfortunately, had been right next to he girl at the time of the incident. If she wasn't so fearful of having his wrath brought down upon her she would have helped her out, but he was already on her by the time Lysa could even slow down. By then pack mentality had kicked in, and she was drug away with the rest.

"....She was too young to be here to begin with. Children shouldn't have to burden themselves with the faults of their elders."
