Personality: Jet is usually laid-back, although he will not hesitate to fight when challenged. He has a crude sense of humor that most find fiendish.
Background History: Jet was born the eldest son of the late Onyx and Jade Blackheart. He was taught from birth the ways of war. Growing up, this is all he has ever known. He has no desire to learn differently. His only ambition is to further his parents' dream of total control over all three clan territories. As he grew from a hatchling into a fine young dragon, his father took him under his wing and began teaching him to fight using not only his teeth, claws, and tail, but also his fire breath, as well. He understood that his fire breath was only to be used against his enemies. The only time it could be used against his allies was when they were disobedient. His parents ruled by fear, not loyalty, and Jet took on the same attitude of tyranny. He was his father's favorite child, and all his younger siblings knew this. Should they get into trouble with Jet, they would be punished twice as harshly by their father.
Eventually, Jet's parents took him aside and told him he would one day be ruler over the clan, and his father promoted him to the position of commander over his army. For centuries after that, Jet went to war with his father every time Onyx attacked the other dragon clans' territories. Onyx taught his son that when it came to war, to show no mercy on his enemies. Thus, many dragons from both the good and neutral clans have died by Jet's claws. He has set his mind on total control over all three territories, and will stop at nothing to achieve his parents' dream. Only death itself will be able to stop Jet's tyrannical rule.
Other: Jet is ruthless in battle, but he does have a soft spot for hatchlings. He is looking for a female dragon brave enough to be his mate and bear his offspring, but has not found the one yet. He is also bigger than most dragons his age, and quite a few twice his age.
