Personality: When not fighting with the evil dragons, Luna is quiet, unless it comes to meeting with the council. Then, she can and will make her voice heard, loud and clear, so that none doubt where she stands. She is also friendly, having many friends among her clan, as well as in the neutral dragon clan. She has no friends, as of yet, in the evil dragon clan, but should her clan win the war that has been raging for centuries, she hopes to make some.
Background History: Luna was born the eldest daughter of the late Onyx Blacktalon, the leader before her. Her father and mother were of different ranks, but none disputed their union. Thus, Luna and her brother, Jokan Solarscale, were born. From the time they were old enough to fly, their father taught them the politics of their clan, while their mother taught them the fighting and evasion styles of their clan. Jokan was the first to excel at the fighting and evasion, but it was Luna who came out on top when it came to politics, thus making her the better choice for the next leader. Jokan didn't like this; he thought that, as their parents' eldest son, he should be the next leader. Their father explained that it was not just the fighting that would win the war, but also the diplomacy that came with leadership, which Jokan sadly lacked.
Jokan rebelled against his parents and left to fight in the war, while Luna stayed closer to the nest and learned what she could from her parents. She didn't much like the fighting, but when her brother was killed in the war, she knew what had to be done. She stepped up and took over her brother's rank as commander of the army. It wasn't long after this that her father was also slain, and after this, the responsibility for the clan fell to her, as her mother was too distraught and brokenhearted to lead the clan. Not long after her father's death, her mother, too, passed, leaving Luna to rule the clan alone. She has been looking for a mate to help her lead, but as of yet, hasn't found one that will take care of her needs as well as those of the clan.
Other: Luna may be friendly, but she also has a mean temper when crossed, as some of the council have already discovered, although she usually reserves this for the evil dragons she fights. She also knows that the clan's young are their future, and will do anything in her power to protect them. She dreams of becoming a mother, herself, one day, but knows that it cannot happen while the war is going on.
