A powder blue angel was working his way through the brightly shining sunlight, he was looking for another place to rest for some time. The wind was blowing gently, keeping the heat from the sun from becoming entirely overwhelming. There was even some animals out making noises and keeping pae company as they journeyed wherever it was they were going. Coming down from his mountain cave was probably the most exhausting thing he'd ever done. No, escaping his brother was, but that was well worth it. Yukio was still trying to figure out why he'd come down. At least he was looking a little less wild.

With a quiet grunt, he paused by a lake. Scrunching up his face, he tried to recall the name of it. But then, he had barely been using his words since he traveled down the mountain, why would he remember the name of a lake he'd probably never see again? He wouldn't, but something about this one felt familiar. Who was it he'd been there with? There had been a couple of pae... One was a pink fairy.. A young lady he couldn't remember. Thanks to her he'd discovered he didn't like women. But there was another pae... The angel sighed, running a hand through his hair. Words were hard!

"T... T?" He tried the letter, it sounded familiar, but that wasn't it.. "Twist? No... Twix?" Yukio shook his head, "No... Tyler?" Nope, "Twizz?" Finally, one that felt right. The angel shifted, getting ready to sit on the ground. "Twizz..." That name sounded right. But why couldn't Yukio remember what the male had looked like? Or had he really just been so insignificant to Yukio that he couldn't remember the poor guy? That surely couldn't have been the case. Twizz was... Was the first guy Yukio had ever kissed! That's right. Something about kissing pae by this lake. He chuckled to himself, ignoring his surroundings.

However odd their friendship was, Twizzz had not seen his dearest friend, Yipes, since he had returned from his wild voyage into the jungle. He had checked the tree that Twizzz had spent many a times in... and it was empty. This had forced Twizzz to go back to pursuing his personal hobby of candy making. Of course the best place to do that sort of hobby was not in Yipes' tree, but up in the city where he had many resources at his disposal. However, many useful ingredients for his craft were found while he had been in the jungle. Having used up most of his supplies on test candies, he now returned to the mainland in order to seek them out again.

His life had become a rather isolated one since he had become seperated from Yipes. It also made things less complicated though. It had been his first kiss with Yukio that had confused Twizzz more than anything else in life. It had even scared him off. Then there was his long friendship with Yipes... there was something going on there beyond friendship, but it wasn't even serious enough that Twizzz felt any sort of heartbreak now. After-all Twizzz was still so confused that he would even be attracted to those the same gender as himself, that he never let himself get too attached.

Twizzz's search for materials brought him next to a lake, since he was there the striped demon stopped for a sip of water. Kneeling down beside the water, he put his hands in to scoop some out, staring at his own reflection as he did.

Yukio stretched, wading a little into the lake. It had been several days since his last bath and he recalled pae didn't like to smell. While he couldn't tell, the angel was certain others could smell him a mile away.

It was there that Yukio noticed a pink demon with red stripes... That.. Looked kind of familiar? How many seasons had he been inside that cave? He must have been imagining things, there was no way a pae that he might know was down here. He'd been gone so long surely all of the pae he'd known when he was a lot younger were gone or had moved on with their lives.

Disbelief pushed Yukio to make his way to the demon seemingly frozen in the water. He was quiet, like he'd had to be on the mountain with prey. There was no desire to scare the other, though surely the sight of a pale blue angel creeping towards anyone would be something to scream at.

"T... Twizz?" He asked, hesitatint. And surprised he even remembered the other's name. If that was it. Or better yet, shocked he could still speak. He'd done a little with that strange looking demon he'd met when he first came down the mountain, but this was far harder.

Twizzz glanced up as he saw movement in his peripherals. He almost hadn't seen the other pae, blue pae... blue water... In fact Twizzz was under the impression that he had been alone apart from his reflection. As Twizzz tried to distinguish the pae from the water, his name was spoken. Now he was drawing the pae into focus, recognizing the young male from his long ago past.

How could Twizzz ever forget the name of the boy who had helped Twizzz to realize that he was truly confused, but also not alone in his confusion. Still, it was hard to believe that he was actually seeing him. Twizzz froze even more so, still kneeling, but now looking up at Yukio across the water instead of down at his reflection. It was like a strange dream really, the setting just contributed to the surreal. "Wow..." Twizzz slowly stood up, realizing how strange it was that he was just sitting here gawking at the other male, his stomach making uneasy lurches. "Is that really you, Yukio?" It would not be the first time that Twizzz would have had a hallucination, or at least Twizzz was under the impression that many of his adventures with Yipes were just that.

Yukio had to stop himself from making a face while he tried to remember the proper words. What was it he wanted to say... How to make his mouth form sounds that would be coherent. He managed a grunt, and then another one of frustration. Who would have thought remembering how to talk would be so difficult?!

"Yes?" He called, getting the right word. The angel was a bit hesitant, hoping it was the right sound. It was such a simple word, he'd heard it a bunch of times, but until then he'd never really remembered what it meant to try and say it. "Twizzz?" Yukio asked, looking to the demon. Such a limited vocabulary! It was maddening!

Twizzz looked puzzled now as he stared at the other male across the way. The way he had responded, it didn't seem like he was even sure who he was. This didn't seem like the Yukio that Twizzz had once met. Yet... he kept saying Twizzz's name. "Yeah, that's me." There was only one blue... angel? Twizzz squinted his eyes. Yes, angel. There was only one blue angel that would know his name.

It was strange though. Definitely another hallucination, the demon decided. Twizzz looked downtrodden as his heart settled down, certain this was not really Yukio.

Frustrated at himself, Yukio moved forward. Clearly Twizzz knew who he was, and saw him there. The only way Yukio was going to not remain mad at himself was to go and prove to Twizzz he wasn't some random illusion.

"No wo... No words.." Yukio tried to say, to get it across to the demon that he'd lost most of his ability to speak. So many seasons spent alone without talking to other pae, it was crippling. With the water slowing his pace down, Yukio managed to irritate himself further, finally reaching the point where he spread his golden wings and flew to Twizzz.

"I," He paused, trying to think, "Have no words?" The pale blue angel managed, hoping it would be enough to convey he'd changed a lot since they last met.

Twizzz looked even more confused as Yukio moved forward. No words? Had he moved Yukio into speechlessness with his stunning good looks? Twizzz straightened up at the thought, but noticed he was sticking out his little pouch caused by too much candy consumption and went back to slouching slightly.

And then Yukio was standing right there in front of him, seeing the male's trademark snow man clearly. Twizzz knew for certain it was Yukio, but was still unconvinced of his status as an illusion. "Yeah... I don't really know what to say either..." Twizzz finally spoke. He had always rolled with the hallucinations before, why not now?

He frowned, Twizzz wasn't getting the message. The angel reached out and grabbed Twizzz's wrist, trying to.. He had no idea what he was trying to do. Still irritated at himself, Yukio tried moving the other's hand to his neck. "No words." He repeated before releasing the other. The angel pointed to himself, trying to tell the demon that he meant himself. Not that he had no words for their meeting.

Yukio was finding it far harder to talk than to believe that a pae he knew was down here still. He tried thinking quickly, trying to figure out how to make the words come out. "Can't... Can't speak?" He offered, pointing to himself.

Twizzz stood there, blinking. Well that had progressed rather quickly. Then again, things had last time. Now though, Twizzz was feeling Yukio, as real as the ground beneath his feet. He could even feel the other male's pulse pounding against his fingers as his hand was placed on his neck. There was no way that Twizzz was going to get his meaning now. He was too distracted by this new revelation, and slowly being convinced that this was, in fact, real.

No words? Well they had never really needed words before. Perhaps it was the loneliness he had been experiencing since Yipes had disappeared that had motivated his next action. Or maybe it was the pent up feelings from when Yipes had been around. Or maybe it was just that this scene was too much like last time to not do it again. No matter the reason, Twizzz now leaned forward to give Yukio a quick kiss.

Yukio blinked, a little confused by how quickly Twizzz was moving. But things had been like this the last time they had met down by this lake hadn't they? Not bothering to think about what was happening, the angel wrapped his arms around Twizzz's waist to return the kiss. Yukio hadn't been kidding when he said he couldn't speak.

Maybe though, just maybe the affection that the familiar red demon was showing him would help him remember what he couldn't get out. DId they really need words? They hadn't needed them much the first time they'd met, why would they need them so badly now? Or ever for that matter. He smiled a little, loosening his grip on the other. Twizzz was a precious gift right now, he didn't want to waste it.

Twizzz was still surprised when Yukio returned the symbol of affection. The demon had acted on such impulse, that it wasn't until Yukio reacted positively that Twizzz even thought about the fact that it could have gone over poorly. Thankfully he didn't have to worry about that now. When Yukio finally loosened his grip, Twizzz pulled back, finding that he had somehow lost the ability to speak as well.

The male cleared his throat. "Feeling more talkative now?" Twizzz finally managed to joke.

Yukio managed a chuckle, smiling at Twizzz. He nodded his agreement, more than happy to talk to the demon that was so happy to welcome him back. He still needed to find the words though.

"How..." He paused, forming the word. "How are you?" Yukio still had a massive shortage of words, but he could at least ask some questions. Or answer a few of them. But first, wasn't it right to ask how the pae he was kissing just a moment ago was doing?

Twizzz looked confused, once again. They had just been kissing, surely that would have removed any pretenses that might have made it difficult to talk to him. Yukio just sounded so strange. "I'm alright... but ...uh... what's going on?" Twizzz said, arching his eyebrows as he pulled back his head.

It was a long time ago when they had their first and only encounter... so his memory of the event was not perfect. Still... he felt like he would remember if the guy had been less than talkative.

Yukio had a feeling that was going to happen. "Cave... Long time.." He frowned, trying to form more words. "I was... Gone... No Talk?" The angel tried, frustrated he couldn't get the right words. He wanted to talk so much to Twizzz, especially after feeling him pressed against him. The angel frowned, running a hand through his hair. It was a twitch, he couldn't help it right now. And his freshly butchered hair would surely pay for it in the long run too.

"I... Miss you." He hesitated a little, knowing the words were flowing a little easier with a bit of practice.
