Shoes were discarded in the grass, and a pair of jeans could be seen sticking out of the Dane's bag as he stretched in his shorts, slowly, taking his time with each movement. Some might have called him ridiculous for taking so long, but it was routine. Well, at least it was a routine for him. Being a new student to the rather rambunctious, or at least in his opinion, school, he had no idea where to go to dance, or if there even was a place for people like him to dance at, which led him to a patch of grass in the courtyard, completely ignoring any odd stares he might have gotten.

The only place he'd been able to find was the Kendo club, thanks to someone who hadn't minded spending a few minutes leading him there, and even then he only lurked in the background, watching the members as they sparred. The thought brought his eyebrows together, as he made a face of contemplation that was erased quickly as he continued to focus on his stretches, ignoring the heat making his back grow increasingly hot.

If he gathered a small crowd as he began to dance, he never noticed. Instead, he closed his eyes and let his body move of its own accord to the music blaring from the CD/radio player he'd brought with him to school, something he normally left behind unless he was sure he needed something to occupy his time. His movements were swift and as flawless as a human's movements could be, and the song ended before he had really got into it. Annoyance crossed his face, but he shook that off and posed for the next song as it began.

(Left the description a bit vague so people can visualize their own thing. Also hi guys, looks whos back c:
Edit: His name is Sander, for reference.)

Standing off to side with the small crowd, Loki watched the student dance on her way to practice, enthralled by his movements. He's really good~ I haven't seen him around though.. She watched his expression change after the song had ended, the smallest tick of her mouth upwards, understanding that. Uncrossing her arms, she clapped a bit, quiet again for the next song in case he decided to continue. With some of the crowd leaving after the first one, the brunette could now move a little closer, another face in the small audience.

((Welcome back~ ^^
I'm just throwing my little Korean dancer in here, because I can.. ㅋㅋ))

Where as the previous song had a faster tempo, this one was slowed and he danced a typical waltz, just without a partner, which left his hands at his sides as he slid across the grass with cloth-covered feet. It was a bit saddening, but as previously mentioned, he was a new student at the school. It wasn't like Sander had really met anyone here yet, or at least, anyone willing to stick around and talk to the silent male until he began to talk back freely. He knew that his problem with speaking was a minor hindrance to creating friendships, but he'd always had difficulty talking to people he didn't know. Wasn't it like that for most people? He pursed his lips as the song continued, his eyes leaving the grass a ways in front of him to search the crowd, looking for someone, anyone, that might come fill in the woman's role in the dance.

Listening to the song change, Loki felt a twinge of guilt at seeing no one was stepping forward to join him. It's obviously a waltz..And those are best danced with a partner.. She noticed him looking around, searching for something. Or someone? Glancing around the crowd again, seeing no one really reacting, she took a timid step forward. "Would you like a partner for this dance?" This was very unlike the shy girl, but she wasn't just going to let him dance alone without offering. And it was one of the only classical dances she knew, so she was confident she wouldn't trip or anything.

Sander's face lit up like a christmas tree's lights that had been finally plugged in, and he nodded quickly, pausing to extend a hand to his newfound friend, if the girl was even that. However, considering she'd been the only one to step forward and surprise him delightfully, he may as well call her a friend. Once she'd put her hand in his, he quietly pulled her close, his hand resting on her back as if he'd done it every day, and off they started, dancing across the grass without a hitch. He gave the girl her props-- she knew what she was doing, and so it was likely then that she did it for a number of reasons, though there were too many to be counted for. A small smile broke across his face for a few moments, and he spoke shortly after.

"...A-Arigatou." Had he stuttered? He really needed to study the language more... It still felt foreign on his lips. Sander softly cussed in English, shooting the girl an apologetic look. "Sorry.. Ah, no, wait... What was the word.." He bit his lip, thankful that he knew this dance like it'd been programmed into his head. The lack of concentration he was showing was definitely embarrassing, but so was speaking English when a majority of people here spoke Japanese. "...Erm."

(/enter bashful sander who is at a loss for words)

His reaction brought a shy smile to her face, glad to see him look at least a little...happier at her offer. Loki followed his lead and ignored her normal timid personality to dance with this complete stranger. She listened as he started speaking, her smile friendly and understanding as she switched to heavily accented English. "It's okay. You are...really good at dancing~" Her brown eyes flickered with a bit of concentration as she remembered the translation to the foreign language. I should work on my English, that may come in handy...

A quick bout of relief washed over the American and he slipped back into English with ease, his face once again shutting off any emotion it may have shown before. "You speak English.. Wonderful." He blushed faintly and skillfully dipped the girl back, holding her in his arms for a brief moment before pulling her back up to her feet, the song ending moments after. "Thank you for the dance, miss." He nodded curtly, and then headed over to his player, opening it to switch the CDs around, using it as an excuse to get away from the girl and as a distraction... And he didn't want to do the next dance, lest he seem stupid doing it alone. Why his mother had thought to put the macarena on after a waltzing song was beyond him, but he didn't pay too much attention to it. Instead, he put his Zumba disc in and began that, after skipping to a favorite track of his.

(Sorry the post is so shitty... Kinda sleepy and overthinking. Heh.

"Yes, a bit." Loki continued the dance, surprise obvious on her expression at the dip, not expecting it. She blushed for a moment before hiding it again, finishing up with the dance. "You are welcome~" She smiled again, bowing and backing away so she wasn't in his way. "Thank you for..allowing me to join." That's the right word, right? The brunette stepped back to the base of a nearby tree where she had set down her bag, curious about his next dance. His music was diverse enough that it caught her attention easily. She took a sip from her water bottle and moved her hair behind her ear, just a face in the crowd again.

((Why don't you get some rest?))

(Sorry for the late reply dahling. I hope more people decide to pop in soon..)

Sander kept his expressionless look through out the dance, even as a couple people who seemed to be familiar with what he was doing stepped out to join him. Pleasing, but it was likely an after-effect of the woman from his last dance joining him that gave them the balls to try. It wasn't like it was the greatest thing ever anyways. He was sure more people would join the more well-known he was, or the dance was at least. The song lastest about five minutes and he bowed, waving at the small crowd before packing up and pulling his shoes back on, bag slung on his left shoulder, the radio being held still on his right. As the crowd dispersed, he made his way to the brunette from the waltz. "Hei. Would it be alright if I got your name, miss? I was hoping we could dance again some time." He paused, then nodded, as if he was unsure in his words. Did he sound too blunt though? Or was it casual enough that he didn't seem like a creeper?

Watching other people join in made her curious. No one would join him before? Aish, there people confuse me.. Afterthe song was done and everyone began leaving, Loki looked around, wondering if she should actually go to practice now. Her brown eyes glanced up at the appearance from the boy dancing, a little surprised as she nodded. "Oh, nae~ I'm Hyunjae Choi, but most people around here call me Loki." She flashed a shy smile, standing back up from her spot. Obviously not a Japanese name, and her accent probably didn't help. "I would not mind dancing again. May I ask your name?" Tilting her head slightly, her hair fell into her face a little.

((No worries, I'm pretty slow myself. Lack of sleep does that to a person. ._.
And if anyone's reading along, hopefully they join. I mean, I'm the shy one for goodness sake. lol))
