He’d found the note still folded up in the curve of his scarf when he’d gotten out of the infirmary. It was folded up and stained with a few drops of blood that had dried to a deep flaky brown. Opening it had made him frown slightly at the message, he’d even been angry for a moment, but his own aches and the voice of reason that was Remiel he’d calmed down.
He re-folded the message and sat for a long while on the edge of his bed, contemplating his next move. He refolded the note and sighed, standing slowly and walking out the door with a mission in mind.
He had a note to deliver.

In times where her behavior had not been cause for island-wide suspicion, Mimsy rarely ran across anyone who was specifically searching for her, especially if they were not already an acquaintance. It piqued her curiosity when news of such a thing was presented to her as she refilled her mug of coffee - well enough that she wandered outside instead of returning to her lab, caffeine still in hand.
The attempt to locate the trainee who was looking for her would be estimates and guesswork at best, validated only by the few details that the gossip of fellow hunters had provided. At worst, she supposed, she would alarm someone new to the island...but that was not necessarily uncommon.
She watched her best theory from a distance, passively sipping the coffee as her eyes followed his path. Seemed harmless, all considered. But what did he want with her, in that case?
Captivated by intrigue, she took large, hurried strides to catch up with him, then matched his pace when he was within hearing range.
"Why are you searching for me?" she asked, both hands clutching her mug as she stared with owlish eyes.

Her approach and sudden speech startled him, on her part likely a calculated effect, but it nonetheless produced a small hitch in his otherwise forward motion. He turned to take her in, owlish eyes made more so by her glasses, black hair with red dyed into it, clutching her coffee mug like it was either a life preserver or the weapon that she would shortly elect to beat him to death with. Though to be utterly fair he was just a little edgy after the run in with gigantic shadow-puppet people.
He wasn’t sure he wanted to hazard a guess on the probability of being cudgeled with a coffee mug but there was just something about her that said it wasn’t entirely something that could be ruled out.
“I ah…” He paused wondering if words would be better or if simply turning it over would be better. Still, part of him hoped for an explanation.
“I ah, I was in the haunted house recently.” The accent was more clear when he spoke for a longer time, though it was clear he was trying to moderate it as best he could. “Met a curious…” He clearly struggled for a word here that would describe what he’d met and then surrendered the thought entirely. “She, it called itself a Lady at any rate, ah, she tucked this into my scarf when she was…. Finished making introductions.”
“It’s for you.”
He offered her the note that Amrita, though he’d have no way to know what the ‘A’ stood for had tucked inside his scarf.
