The desert sands were the color of gold and the sun was high in the sky and lit up the entire desert. She loved how warm the sands were under her paws and since her fur was the same color as the sands she could blend right in. Desert Rose, or Rose as she was called by the rest of her little family before she set out on her own to explore new lands. Being of the desert she was used to seeing lots of sand and desert plants, but she wanted to see more of the world. She wanted to see what these Soquili were that other familiars spoke of, to see if she would want to be bonded with such a creature. She was so small and she had heard that they were so big. Perhaps if she left the desert she could find some other familars, she was getting rather lonely being by herself after all. As she set out she wasn't too concerned with other animals being a familiar to Soquili, she didn't think anyone would want to eat her. As she moved through the desert she ended up in the plains. It took her a few days before she ended up in the forest. She had plenty of seeds and fruit that she could eat and she was rather liking this place, though with her coloring she had be a bit more careful. It was better that she went out at night for the most part as her bright colors were easy to spot in the green leaves. ((oh would it be alright if we have Charanty in it as well? I know she is just a plush and all but it might be more fun. She was to be Rose's Soquili when she was made.))

 Damian
There was only one reason that Damian and Tenzin ever separated from each other. Damian needed to go hunting. It was not an occurrence that happened regularly, but when Damian couldn't restrain his natural carnivorous instinct, he had to separate from his herbivore companion. Nuts and berries were tolerable, but the taste of a squirrel, or a sparrow, or a mouse... That's something that wasn't easy to forget.
While other wolves may've been taught by their parents during some part of their lives, Damian had never gotten the opportunity. His hunting methods were purely instinctual and rather clumsy, but he always managed to catch something, in one form or another.
On this particular occasion, he had caught the scent of a mouse. It was accompanied by a faint scent of hazelnut, which likely meant that the creature was either eating presently, or had eaten recently. Damian had a fondness for hazelnuts, and he was certain that it would accompany the taste of mouse in a most delightful manner.
With this in mind, he tried to keep his pawsteps light, and his tail still as he stalked the creature. Eventually, he came to a clump of ferns, and knew by the strong scent, that the mouse was just behind them. He crouched, and then leaped into the air, his paws flailing about as he tried to land on the mouse in question. the gothic beauty 2 We can see how that goes, if you'd like to try it. It would probably make for a shorter roleplay, however, given that the point of the RP was to see if Desert Rose would find the life of a familiar appealing or not.

Rose had just finished eating and was washing her face and paws not paying much attention to what was going on around her. As a dark shadow passed over her she squeaked and turned around terror in her eyes as she saw a wolf pouncing on her. She tried to scurry out of the way but a paw landed on her tail and she turned towards the wolf. Seeing the patter on his fur she had to hope he was a familiar like she was. "Wait! Don't eat me... I, Im like you a familiar." She stated her little heart beating quickly in panic. She didn't want to be eaten by anyone yet, if at all. ((you might want to switch who your quoting.))

 Damian
Damian's pupils were dilated and the canine was breathing heavily. The mouse in front of him spoke in a dignified squeak, one he could understand well. He didn't make a habit of learning mouse; why bother troubling himself with such a thing? That meant that the mouse he'd practically eaten was a familiar, and that was the claim it was making in its defense.
A few moments passed with Damian staring at the familiar, and then he hesitantly lifted his paw from her tail and took a step back. A rumble of a growl came up in his throat, and he sat down, averting his eyes from the rodent.
"I'm sorry, I thought you were an irregularly hued field mouse. Silly of me, not to be able to tell the difference." His stomach gave a growl of its own, and he added, "The life of a carnivorous familiar is not an easy one." He sighed.
He looked back to the mouse, looking less hungry and more curious. "If you are a familiar, however, you should've heard me coming. Why didn't you run then?" Damian paused thoughtfully and then asked, "Did you want to be caught?"
