Why did it always seem she was running late when it came to meeting Kor? Oh right. Probably cause she kept taking forever to get ready. At least this time she was smart enough not to enlist the aid of her siblings. But still... Laine wondered curiously just what he wanted at the mall of all places. A move didn't make sense... Kor wasn't too keen on being in the dark. Even if it was a ginormous screen. And she wouldn't force that on him either... so what was it?

The teen wove her way through the small clusters of people until she found Kor. The sight before her, had her stopping dead in her tracks. He was standing just outside the store. Which was funny in its own right because he was Kor. All six-foot-five, tattoo'ed skin, piercings and all. Standing in front of Build a Bear of all places, talking to a little child as she gushed over the new plush toy she had just built moments before.

She stood back a bit, snickering quietly to herself till the child and her mother left before casually walking over. "Are you replacing me for someone younger?" Laine teased, a wide Cheshire smile on her face. "...What made you pick Build a Bear as a meeting place??

"That mom looked absolutely thrilled at her kid talking to you." When he hugged her, Laine wrapped her own arm around his waist, hugging him. Though the girl blinked looking from Kor to the store beside them. Oh this was gonna be good. She could not wait to see him do the little 'ritual' that was part of building the stuffed toys.

"Sounds fun. Besides, didn't we do pizza and a movie a few days ago??" The white haired girl laughed when they rubbed noses. "You're a giant kid. Now come on, come on. In we go." They were greeted instantly, and Laine gave a little wave to the workers just out of habit before wandering over to the selection of animal skins. What to pick what to pick. Laine glanced from the toys and Kor a few times. "...What would you make?"

"Pandas.. tigers, snow leopards. Fluffy things basically. Both big and small." She grinned, glancing over her shoulder at him. "Guess that explains why I like you huh?" He was totally big and fluffy and nothing he could say would convince her otherwise. Though she blinked at him slowly. "Otters? You like... otters." Well that was unexpected.... Unexpected and super cute. Yep. Big and fluffy.

Scooping up the Otter Skin, Laine waited for Kor to grab his before bouncing over to the sound maker. Did she want a sound? What sound did you even stick in an otter anyway? Shrugging, Laine turned to Kor, waiting to see what he did next. "...Have you ever made one of these before?"

"I am. And just what are you going to do about it mister?? Nothing. That's what." She then blinked before grinning. "Why don't you go first then?? So you can, ya know, learn what to do?" That totally didn't just sound evil and misleading did it? God she hoped not. "You don't need a sound really. Some animals have sounds that go with it, while others don't." Then she blushed a bit. "Kor, remember this is a family store..." She whined lightly. "...I can say that in real life, why do you need a bear to do it?" ...Plus didn't that mean she was technically competing against herself??? "Besides... Can't really say that second one. I seem to remember a slow rule in effect." Weren't they suppose to see where things went? ...Not like she didn't want to say those things. Kor did mean a lot to Laine.

Laine just grinned. "Suuuuure are." The grin turned into a lopsided smile as she shook her head at him. "You'll live." She stood behind him, arms wrapped around his shoulders, her chin resting on the top of his head. She was totally taking advantage of the rare and few seconds she would have were she was the 'taller' one for once. "It's only complicated because the people at the register won't come do this." Either that or it was specifically for little kids. Though Laine could swear she'd seen older teens having done it. "Usually there's this huge ritual like thing with the hearts you put inside. The whole, close your eyes and make a wish type stuff." ...Just with a bit more shenanigans involved... But she'd leave that to his imagination for now.

"No sounds." She agreed. They could always come back for one later if they really wanted. They traded places, and Laine filled her Otter with relative ease. "They need hearts." She commented, gesturing to the electronic table. "Com'ere. I'll show you how it works." Placing the little heart on the table triggered an array of small icons, each meaning a different thing. She explained how you just dragged them, and you could add as many or as little as he wanted. "And then when you're done, you go name it and they'll stitch the back up at the counter."

Laine nuzzled the otter with a grin before one of her hands was captured and occupied by something else. "Of course I did." She laughed at their swinging hands. He was having way to much fun with that. It was cute though, seeing him excited about other things besides work. The teen snorted lightly, shaking her head with a small grin. "Is it now? Ah well. I think I can live with that. I do have the most adorable Otter to remember it by."

"Did you just call them babies?" She laughed, fixing him with a sly grin. Then she laughed at his antics, leaning over and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "You are adorable." Laine slid in, grinning at him as he shut the door. She waited till he climbed in on the other end before she propped he arm up on the door. "So what made you think of Build a Bear ant the Zoo?" To most it would seem so random, but Laine? Laine loved little field trips like this. "You really are a giant kid aren't you?"

"...You know what. I totally believe that." Kor had told her about his past, and while she never questioned it. If he said he just really wanted to go, then she'd believe it. "...You ever been to an aquarium then???" She asked, mostly out of idle curiosity. When he got excited just talking about the fuzzy creatures, Laine smiled. "You are a giant child. Why do I have a feeling I'm going to have to drag you away from the enclosure?"
