- Collecting butterflies: Butterflies are a passion, not just a hobby. She's obsessed with the beautiful and delicate insects. However, tends to preserve them and pin them to boards when she can. She'll look up everything she can about the butterflies she catches. Yumi is always actively looking for different butterflies she doesn't have in her collection. As such, a lot of the things she has and gathers tend to have a butterfly theme to them.
In cat form, she will try to catch them in a way that doesn't hurt them. This doesn't work like 90% of the time, but the poor thing does try. When it is successful it's probably because Kepler took pity on her and helped her. She prefers to catch them already dead, or in the process of dying because she can't bring herself to kill them.
- Reading: Reading comes easily an naturally to her. She's a quick reader and absorbs a lot of information. Her favorite books that aren't about butterflies are fantasy books. Escaping into a different reality is how she likes to spend most of her nights. Luckily with Kepler, she has so much to read and tends to get spoiled with new books more often than not.
- Stealing food: This is a game to her. If Kepler's eating something, she will try to steal some even if she doesn't like it. She'll climb her arms and touch at it, or Kepler will just see a paw heading for her plate. She thinks it's really funny to watch Kepler's reactions to this. Sometimes she wins and she gets a sausage, sometimes she loses and gets shoved in the room with the door shut (like that could stop her).

– Patient: Yumi is a very patient woman. She would much rather things get done properly, even if they take a long time, than to rush them and risk them being done wrong. She's really patient for children, as well. If one of them comes to her crying, she'll let them get out what needs to be said even if they're a blubbering mess before she starts to comfort them. Sometimes she might be a little too patient, Kepler tells her, because she tends to listen to someone ramble even if she has somewhere to be. Yumi's been known to be late because of this.
– Warm: She is like hot chocolate and marshmallows on a cold day. Yumi is a person who is sincerely interested in what you are doing and what you have to say, a person who makes time for friends. She puts others first, at least some of the time. She's kind and cares about other people a great deal. Yumi tries to make people feel welcome and wanted. She feels sometimes someone needs to feel cared about. She tries to make everyone's day bright and sunny and get a smile on their faces. She puts others first, as long as her own life isn't in danger. Getting injured in the process is sometimes part of helping someone. As for her mentality on the matter, it goes case by case. Sometimes she stresses to the point of no sleep, but for the most part, she tries to keep herself mentally calm and sane.
– Devoted: Like many of the cats or senshi, Yumi is devoted. She will not be swayed from the Order, will not stop until her job is finished. However, she is not a leader. She will seek out opinions, thoughts, and advice and do what she can. She's a caretaker, first of all, serving anyone who comes to her for help. She's devoted to her friends as well. She will fight tooth and nail to keep them happy and protect them from insults or physical wounds.

– Immature: Don't let her kept together appearance fool you! Yumi still finds crude jokes funny even as she blushes and tries to hide her laughter. She's a very playful little thing. She's not above calling someone names like poopy head or sticking her tongue out if she feels like it. Yumi tends to latch onto Kepler as a parent of sorts, expecting her to take care of her. Playing tricks and pranks on everyone, wanting to wrestle, or whines when it's raining because she can't go out and play. She doesn't really want to grow up because she's met many stuck up senshi and cats. Everyone needs some immaturity in their lives right?
