User Image This wasn't like last time; not like the times where everyone gathered. Not like when she called upon her three children and had them and their children come to her. No. Uhra knew that they all knew of her pregnancy. Knew that they knew that their siblings and uncles and aunts would be here soon. But Uhra didn't mind. Uhra didn't want to have her children go out of their way to come to her again. No. This was her third batch of children. And she had been blessed by the heavens for having three each time. Three healthy little bundles in her heart. And at that moment, she was curled around her three little bundles easily. She nuzzled one, and then the other, whispering small words of love and adoration to them. They were her babies. Her little ones. And she was far too happy to have them.

Flicking her ears, the little mare lifted her head to look around. Goodness was she old? Three. Three batches of children that were all grown and having children of their own... Wiggling her nose some, she blew out some held up air and tossed her head to get some bangs from her face. This was an event. This was where she was now. She was getting old, and she could feel it. Even in her bones and in her heart. But she loved them. She loved every single one of her little members of her family. She loved her first batch, with Ananshi and Quetz fighting and little Pecha doing everything she could. She loved her second batch of lovelies. Uzoma, Kayode, Jumana, all unique and lovely in their own rights. And now these little guys. All tucked safe and sound in their baskets and sleeping soundly.

Uhra looked around, her eyes flickering from the moving leaves in the trees to the way that the birds sang out. She was certain that Adom was out gathering food and such since Uhra didn't often leave her children's sides. She leaned to give them another small nuzzle, before standing up to stretch her legs. She wasn't fearful of anything happening to them; they were safe here. Protected by the herd. But she wanted to remain close. Wanted to be there for them when they eventually decided it was time to emerge and say hello to the world. She wanted to be the first ( or second if Adom was there ) for them to see.
