slowly, razor came into view of canterlot castle, though everything was wrong. for one thing, the castle was in ruins, not to mention the flames sprouting from some of the windows. then there was the smell in the air. the stench of death was heavy and overwhelming. letting out a sigh, razor pulled forth his sword, gripping it tightly in his jaw as he glanced at other ponies running past him for safety. "why... why did he do this, celestia and luna trusted him, and he betrayed them, for what, power, immortality. the reason doesn't matter. I will avenge them, I swear this." he spoke in a solom voice. he then began to make his way to the castle.
once he reached the throne room, he looked at the horror as both celestia and luna were on the ground. ignoring this fact for a moment he glared angrily at the throne, right at Nis who was smiling evilly at his work. "NIS! you will pay for your crimes, and I shall be your judge." he then slid the end of his blade across the floor, causing sparks to fly from his blade. "I condemn you to death." he said as he crouched down slightly, ready for the attack that was surely coming.

sitting gingerly on the throne Nis put very little effort into looking down at the young pony "....crimes?....I have done no more crimes than those two....in fact...I think I have done far less...." he smiled, his eyes drifting down to meet razor's "and might I ask....by what right do you even think you have to rise against me?....." he stood from the throne glaring down at Razor with seething hate "....what I have done I did in my fullest of rights....these two suffered only because they moved against me...what I have done was justice young one.....I got my power...immeasurable and all seeing power....but these two....they struck out against me solely in fear and ignorance...and now you...let me ask you little colt....if you gained immeasurable power....and your peers then stood against you...would you not defend yourself?.....perhaps....we shall see....what do you say little one?" he grinned down at Razor, luna and celestia's bodies rising off the floor cloaked in Nis's dark colored magic

Razor shook his head. "NO, I would not KILL to protect myself. I would not even seek power to begin with, unlike you." he then began to run at Nis, leaping into the air and bringing his sword down at him with full force. "there are some things mortals should never achieve, things you should never have done, this is your ultimate crime, disobeying nature!"

he cracked a grin and flashed forward, teleporting away from his blade he settled just a little ways away. "foolish foolish little colt...and you are the one who is to protect the kingdom....you would not kill to protect yourself?...but you would kill to prevent me from achieving my goals?...." Luna's body glowed even brighter with his magic as the color of her fur began to lessen and his power surged. behind his mark of beakers and flame there formed a moon and from his back a set of wings sprouted. "...you will never understand...its your great crime...but fear not....I will erase your crime...I will make you understand...no longer will you live in ignorance and petty foolishness..." his wings extended and flapped about bringing him into the air, even though it was a little unsteady he became stable quickly. "...prepare to be....enlightened...." he moved up further making sure to stay out of his jumping range, as celestia's limp body slowly rose with him as a now blank flanked wingless and hornless Luna lay onto the ground

Razor's eyes widened as he witnessed the event that happened to luna. in that moment, his eyes filled with rage. "NO!" in that moment he stood into a bipedal stance, grabbing his sword in one hoof. in a burst of rage, he dashed forward again, though it was different from before, like during the changeling attack, his eyes went slitted like a cats eyes and his coat and mane slightly darkened. in an instant, razor was upon Nis, sword swinging to the left at an incredible speed. razor didn't even notice as in the distance, out of sight a familiar figure stood by, watching the event play out.

his eyes widening at the display Celestia dropped from the air and a blade of pure conjured power appeared in the air to counter each blow slowly pushing Nis back. slight distress portrayed over his face but then it was replaced with a grin "...now this is quite interesting....how long have you hidden this power away boy?....this....hehehehehe with this you are already a part of me are you not?..." he laughed conjuring another blade and kept up his countering blows "why did I not see it before....its so clear....so perfect...."

hmmm, nice use of the "dream" celestia and luna. did you notice the "figure" at the edge of the dream by the way. if your wondering, that's the real luna watching over Razors nightmare, why, because it was fascinating XD

Razor shook his head as he continued to assault nis with his blade, which had a small red jewel on the end of the handle that began to dimly glow and grew brighter with each strike. "I AM NOTHING LIKE YOU!" he yelled as slowly his attacks began to grow faster, until one strike that crashed right through his counter blow.

Nis's eyes filled with unmistakable joy and excitement "....do you know what a rude awakening is?...." he laughed and struck with four conjured blades before teleporting back and raising his horn. "....seitsemän kuningaskuntia ja seitsemän synnit, kuningas hallitsemaan kaiken. polttaa ja nousta tuhkasta...." he looked down at Razor as the ground quaked "...whether you like it or not....you...will be a part of me...tietää tämän olevan totta ..." the sky darkened and the ground rumbled shook violently "....you have little choice in the matter...you must either act now....and restore the peace....or bring equestria into war...you CAN achieve peace...but only if you are willing..." he watched as the walls the the castle rumbled ".....take her power...and meet me on a little more equal ground if you truly desire to stop me...otherwise...fulfill your destiny and join me....as my wrath...."

after Nis's teleport, razor stood there, breathing heavily. "no, I WILL defet you, without HER POWER, BECAUSE I HAVE MY OWN!" he stated, his voice taking on a more demonic tone at the end. dragon like wings shot forth from razor's back as his coat grew even darker then before, his slitted eyes beginning to glow. and finally, razor's mane burst into flames. "NOW FEAR US, NIS, FOR WE. ARE. VENGANCE! AND MY BLADE HUNGERS FOR YOUR SOUL!" he stated. and in one powerful flap of his wings, the being known as razor, shot forth like a bullet, heading straight for Nis.
meanwhile
the doors that led into the same room opened up, revealing 7 ponies, six of them were silhouetted to razor, while the seventh was shadow fire, wearing his element of balance. the seven glanced at razor for a moment before turning their attention to celestia and luna. three of the silhouetted ponies went to luna, while two others with shadow went to celestia. the seventh took a few steps forward. then he spoke. "no, no no no. nis would never do this..." then shadow spoke out. "Night hawk, get ahold of yourself, he isn't the nis you knew anymore, he needs to be put down, but first, help us get celestia and luna to safety."
a voice sounded dark and powerful yet it did not carry the usual "I am evil" feel to it. "the boy knows not what he seeks, and from his anger he is playing right into the beast's grasp....he will be consumed by hate and become the wrath that Nis seeks. and do not be so sure you know of what Nis wanted or knew....this is the true Nis...all else was the fabrication..." the ground rumbled a little as the words were spoken but there was little to suggest this was a power greater than their own

night hawk shook his head. "no, I refuse to believe that, there has to be a way to snap him out of it!" night yelled. soon, shadow walked up to night, his element glowling as if alive. "no night, the voice is right, I can tell, he needs to be stopped, but... really, are you sure?" shadow began to say, glancing down at his element. he then turned to the rest of the group. "okay, everypony, we need to restore balance, we need a new alicorn..." shadow said. the group gave a gasp before one spoke up. "are you sure shadow, we don't know what will happen if we use the elements to that state, anything could happen." shadow shook his head. "im sure, my element told me, this is what we need to do to maintain balance on equus. we need an alicorn of dreams." shadow stated as he turned to look at night hawk. night's eyes widened as he took a step back. "what, why me, im nothing special, I cant fight my friend, I owe him my life!" night protested. shadow took a step forward. "night, he was never your friend, he is meant to fail at his quest, by your hoof, its your destiny to become an alicorn, it has been foreseen by the elements."
"I am sorry to be so direct...but he was originally not of this world....he only took his current form because it was the only way for him to manifest into this world....you need but three things to defeat him....but be warned...they do not come easily...." there was something of a light within the shadows at the far end of the room but it was unclear as to what it came from "...you need three elements....and I do not know if you have them....he works in ways separate from the magics of this world...."
