 HP: 20 Scooting past some warriors engaged in beating the brains out of each other, Dervire searched for someone he could do the same to. The sight of a rat made his little wings perk, and with a vicious grin he dashed over to try and flat out tackle Kusari. "Merow!"

 Kusari was back out again after his loss to the fellow rodent. He had to admit it was weird to wake up with a shroud over him, but he supposed it made sense for a death follower -- that and it made it easier for the healers to carry him back to camp. In looking for another opponent he never sensed an attack coming - mostly because it was another cursed - and was tackled hard to the stone ground. The cat-like rowring sound made him briefly wonder if that malk had come back for more, but he knew he didn't sense a god-follower. He aimed an elbow back to try to knock his attacker off of him. A elbow came back and cracked into Dervires chin. Blinking back tears of pain, because damn that really smarted, he rolled off to one side. Instantly he kicked out with both his feet at Kusari.

Kusari felt his blow connect and started to get up as the foe rolled off him, but got kicked before he could get up all the way. Falling back he tried to lash out with his weapon to keep him at bay so he could get to his feet.

Dervire was too slow in pushing back and received one wicked crack to his arm before he managed to get far enough back to get to his feet. "Son of a gun that hurt!" He exclaimed as he rubbed his arm. "Who fights with sticks? Seriously." He complained before jerking a long knife out of the sleeve of the arm he was just rubbing. Smiling at Kusari he lunged to try and stab him.

Kusari managed to get to his feet, but didn't see the knife until it was too late. It plunged deep into his chest and he grunted, staggering back. "Martyr freak," he spits before trying to clock him in the face with his nunchaku.

That was going to leave a mark. Dervire's head turned to one side and he could practically feel his eye already swelling from the hit he just took. Looking back at Kusari he flicked his tail and smiled. "Why thank you." He cheerfully quipped before attempting to slash the rat across his bare chest.

Kusari backed up enough to get a lesser wound this time but it still cut him more. Grimacing he scowls at the cat and lashes out with his weapon for his head at the same time aiming a kick for his knee.

Dervire managed to duck the swing at his head, but he took the kick to his knee. Clamping his hands over it, he began to hop around on one foot. "Ow ow ow fukfukfuk!" He cursed as he completed his third little bounce around in circles. Leveling a hateful gaze on the rat, he bared his teeth at him. "I'm going to take that stupid stick weapon of yours and ram it down your throat!" He hissed as he dropped his leg and stepped forwards to slash at Kusari again.

Kusari had plenty of time to prepare for his next attack and sidesteps neatly, getting another small cut; he grips both handles of his weapon side by side and aims the chain connector end up at Dervire's chin.

DING! The little bell around Dervires throat rang even as his head snapped up and he staggered backwards. Little stars were shining brightly in his eyes and he tasted blood. Shaking his head, Dervire staggered like a drunk to the left of Kusari. His eyes blinked a few times, and he pitched forwards in a ungainly attempt to stab the rat.

Kusari spent too much time watching the cat stagger and recover, and while ungainly the knife stabs into him again , this time in his stomach. He staggers back as well, coughing up blood. With little energy left, he tries to move back in to clock the cat upside the head again.

It was really pure chance that had Dervire lean forwards when he did. The nunchaku struck him hard, but not hard enough to send him reeling again. Panting for breath, Dervire threw himself at Kusari in a frantic attempt to tackle him to the ground.

Kusari probably evaded the tackle by pure luck, as dizzy and fatigued as he was. He turned to lash out with his weapon one last time at the cat's head as he went by him, knowing he was gonna pass out in a moment one way or another.

Dervire landed with a whump on the ground. He ached in pain so much he didn't even realize that Kusari had hit him with a glancing blow again. Rolling to his side he kicked out at the rat with a foot. "Stupid mouse." He grumbled.
