((OOC: This RP is set the night of the VDay event after Bree and Feral leave the party. They have been hit by the marriage arrow and should have a burning passion for one another. This will explain the sudden change towards one another. Read on!)) Briosca let her eyes flutter close for a moment. The wind from the cool night air whipped her dark bangs around her face. Some strands whipped her face, stinging her cheeks, but it didn't seem to phase her. Her mind was too wrapped up in that night's events. Some fun games, some not so fun moments, but it all could be summed up in the emotion she was feeling that moment holding the hand of a Prince.
She glanced over at him now, the dark Prince with gentle eyes and a sweet disposition. How had that moment in the forest turned to this moment right here? It went from a kind hearted Prince helping a Gingerbread Maiden find her lost basket, to baking session, and now marriage?
She looked quickly away her cheeks heating up quickly. She mentally chided herself at the amount of joy and burning passion that simple thought flooded her with. Where had all of this come from? She had finally allowed herself to stop denying her crush, but this longing? The strength of it was almost overwhelming, making her hand tighten around his unconsciously.
Her wings began to change their pace as they neared her small cottage. She released his hand in order to balance herself during the landing process, running a short distance before turning around to make she he made it safely. Once he was on the ground she smiled sweetly at him before sweeping her hand across the homey scene in front of them, "We made it."
Though she was smiling her heart felt crushed. This was the moment she was dreading since they began her travel home. He was a gentleman for making sure she made it home safely, but she didn't want him to go. She didn't want these emotions or this evening to end. She could drown in how much joy she felt just having his eyes on her.
She moved slowly towards her home. The thing was covered in various flowers, plants, and vines, making it almost seem like it would melt into the landscape around it. There were a few handmade birdhouses, chimes, and other knicknacks hanging from various parts of the cottage or sticking up from the ground. He'd been there a few times before to help her bake for the event or just to visit, but this time felt oddly different. As she looked over her home and retraced her steps down memory lane, it felt like he had always been a part of this place.
They made it to the door and she turned towards him, "Thank you so much for your kindness, Feral, in always making sure I get home safe." She beamed up at him and their little tradition. It wasn't much, but he sure knew how to be a gentleman. She glanced from him to the door knob attempting to stall for time. She knew it was obvious, but she hoped it would be touching to him, "Well, better check if the house is safe." she giggled to herself as she pushed her door open.

The night had not gone as the Prince had planned. Not in the slightest. No injuries were to be had or loss of life nor limbs.....but it wasn't the pleasant gathering he had imagined.
What it was instead was chaos. It may have started all well and dandy, but the bug bites, the maze, the strange snake pae.... their sudden bond in marriage.
The cake.
Feral tried hard to put most of these thoughts out of his mind as he escorted Brisoca home, alighting down gingerly at her front door step. His silver eyes glanced around the cottage he had been too many times previously, but this time with a new sensation. And mostly to make sure no strange snake pae had ended up here. If they had arrived at the party, then whose to say they couldn't have planted some out here while most pae were at the engagement hoping to have a grand time?
"Here we are." he said sternly, yet in soft tones as he turned his attention back to her, proffering a smile at least for her sake. "But I'd like to check inside, yes." he nodded in agreement at her suggestion. He picked up on her stalling. He was thankful for the invitation, as he wasn't quite ready to leave yet himself. It was as if their new bond held him fast tight to her, and he couldn't bare the thought of taking his eyes off her gorgeous slender figure....not now. He had so much he wanted to say, so many feelings welling up inside him. Feelings he had thought he felt for only one other, yet the sheer force of how strongly these desires burned whenever he gazed upon the sprinkled covered fae easily drowned out the foolish child's crush he once harbored for his Lady.
"Perhaps I'll.... stay the night. Guard the outside." he said in quick attempts to cover up his true meaning. He cast his gaze away momentarily, slightly embarrassed as he stepped up to the door after she had pushed it open and peered inside. "Ah...Bree....let me go first..." he said gently, resting a hand on her shoulder. His other hand, without thinking, reached up to brush some stray strands of hair from her cheeks, his fingertips lightly brushing against her skin. His own dark cheeks flushed with heat and a tinge of red.
Suddenly, the wild patterned prince felt a strange sensation in his hair, as if some sort of bug or creature had made its nest there. Throwing his hands up quickly, he seized whatever it was, bringing it back down into view, only to find that he now held in his hand the spunky little Gingerbread man that Bree had been unable to turn back before he dashed off and broke out with some serious dance moves. "Crumbles....." he sighed, but couldn't help but chuckle.
Leave it to the little Gingerbread man to appear only after the chaos was far behind...

The intense way he was looking at her made her feel flushed all over. Could he possibly be feeling the same way she was? She wanted him close, closer than he had ever been before- the thought causing tingles to run down her spine. How could she be desiring the Prince this way! She thought back on their baking sessions, and sure, she had noticed her crush making her yearn for him, but not this way. Not the way she was yearning for him with her whole being- with her body.
She turned to the door quickly to hide the bewildered look on her face. Had that really come over her just then? Where had this come from? She gently fanned herself with her hand as she reached for the door. She needed to calm down, needed to get her head on straight, needed him to stop being so darn attractive and driving her crazy! But there he went again, touching her shoulder and speaking in that tone that melted her heart every time. There he went acting like a gentleman and putting himself in harms way for her, and there he went touching her skin making it flush under him, and there he went looking adorably shy about it. How did he do that!? How did he manage to make her feel so good about herself and even with everything bad that happened that evening, make her feel good about life?
Her eyes widened in shock at him, had he just invited himself over for the night? With the way he was hesitating, touching her, talking to her, was he feeling the same thing? Had their connection done something to his heart like it had done for hers? “Feralheart...” she whispered his name in wonderment. “O-of course you can stay if you'd life.” she stuttered the words, overwhelmed at the fact this was possibly happening to her. Finally he wouldn't have to leave! A wish she had made every time their baking session had ended. Had her wishes been what brought this about? “You don't have to stay outside though...” she smiled shyly, touching his arm hesitantly. “...I'd actually like it if you'd stay by my side.” the words were quiet, but from the heart, and she couldn't believe she was saying them.
The sudden movement of his hand to his head made her jump. Her heart thudded madly in her chest, eyes wilded wondering what happened, when her eyes landed on Crumbles, “Crumbles!” she scolded with a chuckle. The Gingerbread man crossed his arms grumpily “What!? Thought I'd let myself get left behind or something!?” Bree shook her head at him letting the words go as she glanced back into the house. She wasn't concerned about any snake things being in her house, but she was thankful for the Prince's careful nature-

Bree screeched in alarm, her hand flying to point up at the ceiling where a brightly colored pae was hanging upside down, some of her herbs in its chubby hands as it chowed down on them. The house was in a disarray, many pots and other items holding plants tossed or smashed and their parts carelessly strewed around the room. As her eyes were taking it all in she noticed the seed- broken apart. Her eyes shot back towards the upside down pae and she recognized the colors immediately. Takeko had been right! It did hatch!
“How did you get up there!?” she cried, pushing past Feral to get into the room. Her wings easily picked her up off the floor as she reached out to grab the chubby thing, but as soon as it saw her coming for it it began to scoot across the ceiling quickly. “Get over here!”Fea Line You can click on his cert to see what he looks like at the point of this post XD
