The day wasn't much like any other, after the drama that happened upon their coming. Spotted Angel, a young mare who met the strange stallion of the name Theron, wandered the oceans edge idly. She was hunting for something to eat, while she could have moved further inland, but she wanted to remain close at hoof incase something should happen with Theron's mate. Yes, he too was expecting children and his mate wasn't too fond of the idea of Angel and her adopted daughter, Parisa coming to live with them.
Golden eyes scanned the horizon for anything out of the ordinary, but nothing stuck out. Turning her head towards the small bundle of energy beside her, Angel nose the small white filly to go play.
"Just stay where I can see you." Was all that Angel said as she continued to walk behind the small filly who raced a head.
Parisa, she was small, white and into EVERYTHING! She was worse then the small critters that ran through the trees chattering to each other. Small golden hooves clicked against the rocks as she looked for small pools of water to play in. Joyful eyes looked here and there before she caught the glint of the sun shining off water. There was her fun! She looked back as her mother said to stay close. But she couldn't voice her own answer. She couldn't even speak yet, only hum... Softly.
Giving small nod with a smile. The small filly dashed off to the small tide pools close to the tall rocks. Here Parisa poked at the small crabs with a hoof before they burrowed into the mud. With a small squeal, she dipped her muzzle into the salt water to see what else she could find.

Having traveled away from his more plain and forest type territory, Taro had decided to go to the beach side to pay a visit to an old friend Theron. Which was a lie considering that he really didn't like the stallion all that much based on the huffing and puffing matches but really that is completely invalid and childish.
To Taro, there was no logic at all. Most times. Not now however. Moving along the rocks he stopped when he heard the sound of hooves, light though they were and stopped to listen to who they belonged too. Sneaking some more along the large rocks that covered his rather bright gold against a black and white canvas, the insane stallion peeked at a tiny filly playing.
Blinking a few times the stallion narrowed his eyes on why a filly, small as she was, would be all by herself. Ah yes of course this had to be the filly that Theron spoke so much about and was overly protective of....her name. Name, name, name. Ah yes, Parisa. Clearing his throat gently to catch the young filly's attention he looked at a shell that glittered in the sun and lifted it up.
"Hello pretty girl. Come here. I have a shiny gift that's pretty. Just for you, Parisa." Taro said as gently as he could possibly manage for a foal. He wasn't an expert on speaking with them so hopefully he didn't fail.

Her attention was too into whatever was in the tidal pool, but with the clearing of a throat her ears stood up. Lifting her small head, gold eyes searched for where ever it had come from. Perhaps it was someone coming to play? Mama didn't like to play all that much in the morning. Parisa looked over to where Angel grazed on the salt grass, what she found in that stuff she didn't know.
Turning herself around, the small filly looked to where the sound, a soft voice actually was coming from. Those large eyes blinked as someone poked its head out from around the corner of some rocks. Did he want to play? Her stubby tail flicked with excite behind her. He even knew her name, so he must have been there to play! Attention on the Tidal pools were lost as Parisa trotted over towards the stranger and this shell he was holding onto.
Angel, being a little forgetful of the dangerous out there. Had her back to her daughter as she grazed contently on the grass close to home. Ears flicking slightly as the wharf flies buzzed around them blocking whatever sounds there might have been other wise. Turning her head at one point, she saw Parisa playing happily with the critters in the pools. Thinking that she would know to stay close. So she wandered a little further away to a better patch.
She didn't see the stallion peeking around the rocks. Or Parisa trotting over to him and vanishing behind the rocks themselves.
----
Glad that the little filly is coming towards him he offered the shell to the adorable little female. "Good morning Parisa. I'm your Uncle Taro. Would you like to come with me so we can play? I have more gifts for you but we have to walk to them. I promise it won't be long." Goodness if this was any other kind of story Taro would be the creeper and have to be put out to pasture quickly. Taro tried not to sound weird or act weird....He had to be nice and gentle with this filly because she was still fragile, he thought.
Shaking his mane slightly he motioned for Parisa to follow him away from the tidal pools and down the path he came from looking back to see if she followed. They should hurry before the tide did come in and sweep over the sand they walked over...Taro didn't want anything to happen to Parisa or he was going to beat up the water...Now that was his insane side talking.
----
Parisa sniffed at the shell that had been offered to her. Tilting her head, she tapped it with a hoof before picking it up and trotting behind Taro. Stopping a moment she looked back towards where she had been playing. Something else was back there, something she was forgetting about. But what was it? Shaking her head, Parisa followed behind the strange black and gold stallion. He had other things to give her? This was exciting!
But there was always that nagging feeling in the back of her head. She was forgetting something. Something very important. Something someone had told her not five minutes ago. Maybe it was longer, but still. Her gut was telling her something her head wasn't going to listen to. She was having too much fun to go back to the shore now.
----
Glad that the little filly was following him he picked up the pace just a tiny bit and went into a cave, where the sea water moved up the shore to cover their hoof tracks. It was the right choice he thought then looked around to be sure the filly was safely in the cover of the dim-lighted cave.
"Come here little one. We can play hide and seek in this cave but you have to hide alright? I've gathered some treats, something sweet and something for you to play with! Isn't that exciting?" Taro pranced over to a coconut and opened it with his muzzle to reveal shells, dried up star fishes, coral and sponges for her to play with. "Come look at the toys. I hope you like them. I couldn't pick which one you wanted so I got them all."
----
Small hooves clopped into the cave, their soft bell like rings echoing off the walls. She followed Taro into the cave, past where the sun stopped shining down upon her white coat. Stepping up beside him. craning her neck out to one side to see what he was doing. Ears flicking forwards, her already large eyes grew larger at the sight of what there was to play with. Shells, she liked those. Starfish, coral. Those were some things she hadn't encountered, not up close anyways.
Moving away from Taro, she circled around the coconut. Nosing at some of the contents, she flicked a couple sea stars out and onto the cave floor. Pulled out the coral shards and put them on the floor. Using a hoof she tipped whatever was left in the coconut out onto the ground in a clattering mess. Soft squeals came from the filly as she started trying to stack the objects before her. Forgetting about where she was, who she was with. Even forgetting about the thing she wasn't supposed to have forgotten about in the first place. Parisa was having too much fun to think about anything.
The sounds of the water covered much of what she had been listening for. The sounds of Parisa. Lifting her head up from where she grazed, Angel looked around for her little white daughter. Where had that filly gotten to now? Hadn't she reminded her not to wander off? Seems she was still too young to be left to play in the tide pools not a few feet from where she was.
"Parisa? Where have you gotten to now?" Angel called out looking around. Where had she gone? Surely she didn't start chasing after something.
Frowning, Angel looked around the pools before heading back towards home. Perhaps the silly thing had run home without her seeing. Hopefully this was the case, but somewhere she didn't think so. If Parisa had wanted to go home, then she would have nudged her to come along. Hooves picking up the pace a little, Angel reached the caves she looked around in a few.
"Parisa? Where have you gotten to?" Angel called out, looking around, her ears flicking. "If you are playing hide and seek, you can come out now." Worry was starting to full her tone.

Theron Silvanus were lounging on the sand dune between Angel and Parisa's whereabouts and Selene's whereabouts because he doesn't want to hear Selene accuse him of liking Angel more than her... again. The sun, salty seawater and the feeling of sand under his body is a slice of blissful peace and he allowed himself to doze off for awhile, enjoying the warmth of the sun while keeping one ear out for Angel and Parisa's voices along with Selene and Misty's as well since Misty volunteered to stay with Selene until they give birth to babies.
The sound of Parisa's laughter and Angel's gentle voice is a music to his ears but eventually, the laughter of his daughter ceased to exist and Angel's voice became tense and worried so he opens his pink eyes, staying really still to see if its Parisa just playing hide and seek like usual. Angel's sudden shouting got Theron jumping up to his hooves and sprinting down to Angel's cries. Theron skids to stop in front of Angel breathing heavily as he looks at his other female before he wildly looks around for his daughter. "What happened? Where is Parisa?" His voice is getting rough with worry as he could feel the rising panic inside his chest because Parisa is nowhere to be found and her little delightful voice is silent. "Parisa, come out! Your daddy is here!" He shouts out, hoping that she will stop hiding and come out to them.
----
Taro smiled slightly at the little thing getting acquainted with her new toys. So adorable. Moving away further into the cave he pulled at the thick seaweed he had in place to open the view facing the ocean completely so that the light can come in enjoy for the filly to play with her toys. With the sound of the waves crashing up against the outer rocks, he moved away to pull a cover over the entrance of the cave to make it seem like there was nothing else further inside here. Taro then moved to bring some fresh water with a basket of sweet grass in case the filly wanted to eat or drink something.
Ears flickering at the sound of voices, especially that of a male one, Taro smiled wickedly to himself. "Now let's play a game Parisa. We have to be super quiet. If you answer to anyone calling your name, you lose and one of those toys go away. So stay quiet so you can keep all of them."
