The Machinist Dungeons are very much like one would imagine a typical dungeon: cold, wet and dark. The cells themselves are each made up of different kinds of material: Some are made up of anti-witch metal, some are made of Anti-Kishin steel, some are made of Anti-WeaponMeister plating, and so on and so forth for every kind of combination one could think of. For the most part the cells are unguarded, mainly because as long as the prisoner is put in the right kind of cell there is practically no way they can escape on their own. The dungeon is located deep under Saint Clara's main tower and is somewhere in between the Upper Cities and Lower Cities in terms of height. Most of those who enter only come out as corpses that are dumped through a hole in the floor. This hole leads directly into the air above the Lower Cities and occasionally the body of a dead (or live) prisoner will seemingly fall from the sky to splatter on the streets of The Lower Cities as Saint Clara purges her dungeon.

There were three girls guarding the dungeon where Atticus and Vincent were. Each of the brothers was kept in a special cell. One meant to hold Demon Weapons and the other meant to hold witches, respectively. The girl in the purple hoodie leaned against one of the back walls, tossing one of her knives in the air and catching it repeatedly. "I'm so bored..." the little girl huffed as she folded her arms, looking at Atticus and Vincent. "I wish they would do something." The kitsune glanced over at the little girl before looking back at Vincent and Atticus. "What can they do?" She asked rhetorically. "These cages are meant to hold them." The little girl shrugged. "Oh, I don't know! Something! Why did you even bring them back? They don't seem to be that important anyway. Though I do really like...the older one.....maybe Saint Clara will let me have him....?" The Kitsune rolled her eyes as she pulled out a pockey stick and stuck it in her mouth. "I bet.""No. I want him." A deeper yet still feminine voice said. It was the girl with the knives. The little girl frowned and looked over at her. "Oh please! You just want to flay him alive and make a pillow out of his skin or something.""I already have a pillow.""Oh good Lord! Will you listen to her? WHY Saint Clara "rescued" her from that wacko prison institution place is beyond me!""She's useful.""I am useful." The little girl shook her head. "You're a wacko. Someone needs to put you in a straightjacket!""They already tried. Now I have a pillow." The girl with the knives tossed one up into the air again and caught it as the little girl looked away. The kitsune chewed on her pockey stick thoughtfully as she watched Atticus and Vincent, seeming to be deep in her own thoughts. Although the dungeon was still and quiet, it was obvious to anyone with soul perception that there were battles raging all over the headquarters. "I wish Saint Clara would let us out to fight. I'm SO bored!" The little girl exclaimed. "Why don't you file a complaint with Saint Clara when it's over?" The kitsune asked sarcastically. "Yes. Please do," the knife girl agreed with less sarcasm. They couldn't quite tell how the battles were going but they all seemed fairly confident that The Machinists would win hands-down.

It had been days since the brothers, Atticus and Vincent were soundly beaten and taken hostage by an group of unknown assailants. Having been locked up for that long and only surviving on what little food they received from their captors, the two were severely weakened. Not only did they had to survive on the small bits of scraps, but they were also victims of horrendous experiments and torture. While Atticus, who had been the victim of such things many times before, could handle such things, his little brother, was a whole other story. The young boy would constantly scream out in agony as they would cut his skin. Atticus could do nothing but watch and endure his brother's torture, knowing that there was nothing he could do to help him. One could say, that was the most effective way of breaking Atticus. After what seemed like hours, the torture would end and the two would be placed back in the separate cells. Looking over at his brother, Atticus would hear the young boy moan as the numerous scars on his body were beginning to heal themselves, this could be attributed to Vincent's witch blood. "Are you alright?" Atticus asked as he rested his head against the wall of his cell and waited for his brother's response, while their three guards, one being the kitsune girl that defeated him and the other two being completely new to him.
"There's no need to worry about me. I'm tougher than I look." Vincent eventually replied, but Atticus could tell that the boy was just trying to put on a brave face. Sighing, Atticus looked away from him and stared up at the ceiling. "Just hang in there a little longer. Shira and the others will be her-""Enough!" Vincent would shout. "You keep saying that Shira will come with help, but it has been days and there has not been a single sign from them. Face it big brother, no ones coming to save. We are stuck here until we either die from the lack of food or they kill us." Hearing this, Atticus looked back towards Vincent. "Vin, you must always have faith. Even in the bleakest of situations, one must continue to believe and hope. The moment you lose hope, then you are truly gone." As he said this, Atticus would start to reminisce about his many adventures and all the uncertain battles and near-death situations he's been in. In all of those, he would remember the one thing that had always kept him going, that always gave him the motivation and will to continue. With a smile on his face, a picture of Shira smiling happily at him, would appear in his mind. "She will definitely come. No matter where I go or what I am doing, she always finds her way to me." he would say to which Vincent responded with, with a simple sigh. As the two brothers spoke, neither one seemed to have paid any attention to the guards, either that or they simply didn't care about them being there. At this time, Atticus and Vincent would be subjected to the guard's words as they listened to their conversation. It appeared as though two of them took and interest in Atticus, much to the annoyance of Vincent as he had to sit there and hear them talk about such things. "Sorry, girls, but I belong to someone else and she's ten times as beautiful as you two." Atticus would say, as Vincent let out a small chuckle.
Vincent would then open his mouth to speak, but before he could, something would happen to Atticus. A strange sensation overcame the demon's body. His heart would begin to beat rapidly as a strange buzzing noise filled his ears. This caught him off guard, looking down at his hands, Atticus found his vision blurring and within seconds his entire body became wracked with unspeakable pain. Yelling out, Atticus would reach up and place his hand over his chest as his heart kept pounding faster and faster. It felt like it was going to explode, the pain was unbearable. Hearing Atticus scream, Vincent would jump up from where he was laying and rush over to the side of cell. "Atticus!" he shouted. He's never seen Atticus like this, even when they were being tortured, Atticus wouldn't show an ounce of feeling pain, but now, he was doubled-over and writhing in it. "Hey! Hey you with the white hair, we need your help?" Vincent shouted, trying to get the kitsune's attention. "Atticus, please, hand in there." Suddenly, Vincent would be left speechless as he saw his brother's body literally fade out, briefly showing only Atticus' soul, but a few seconds later, his body would reappear. "No, it can't be happening. Not yet." Vincent said, as he knew what was happening now. Atticus' soul is rejecting his body, if nothing is done, Atticus might fade out of existence any minute now.
However, Vincent's concerns would soon be appeased as, through sheer willpower and determination alone, Atticus would stop his soul from rejecting his body, even if it was only just for another hour or so. Panting heavily after the whole ordeal, Atticus would lay there in a pool of his own sweat. Managing to look over at Vincent, Atticus smiled, "D-Don't worry....I'm still here."Now's not the time to be acting tough." Vincent shouted, sounding eerily similar to Atticus. As he began regaining some of his strength back, Atticus picked himself up and laid back against the wall, "Like I said, don't worry." he said once more, "You really are too reckless. Shira and the others should hurry." Vincent replied. Hearing Vincent, Atticus smiled, as it seemed that now Vincent had faith that they would be rescued. The moment they finished speaking, almost as if on cue, there would be a loud, thunderous explosion heard coming from somewhere far away, simultaneously, alarms would go off and the sound numerous footsteps completely filled the ship. With all the commotion going on, both Atticus and Vincent looked towards one another. Atticus had a rather smug look on his face, "See? All you need is a little faith." he stated, obviously rubbing it in, that he was right. "Yeah, yeah. How about you wait until we are free before you start feeling all high and mighty." Vincent replied, jokingly.
After an hour or so, there would be yet another explosion heard, this one a little closer to them, but it didn't appear as big as the first. Little did they know, this explosion was caused by Despair as he entered the Saint's Throne Room. Atticus and Vincent looked at one another, neither one saying a word. Both were anxious and excited to get out and with the explosions getting closer and closer, it was only a matter of time. Atticus' attention soon shifted towards the three women. "It seems like there is a lot of commotion going on up there. Are you sure you three aren't needed? You know, to help out your comrades, before they all die?" he asked, showing that he was certain that his friends were the reason for such a chaotic scene. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps could be heard coming closer towards the room and stopped before the door. Both Atticus and Vincent glanced towards the door, as neither could sense the souls that stood behind the door. It could be their rescuers or it could be another guard. Either way, the two were focused on the door. Suddenly, the sound of laughter was heard, instantly, Atticus' eyes widened and a large grin appeared across his face. "Well, looks like they sent in one of the big guns to rescue us." Atticus stated, as Vincent too, recognized the laugh. "It can't be? He's our rescuer?" he asked, then again he was relieved as well, as this one person was all they needed. Just then, the door to that led to their prison cells would be blown apart and standing there in the smoke, were two figures. One a rather tall and muscular male and the second a small and leaner female. Atticus' eyes shifted straight to the female as he didn't even have to guess who it was. Even Vincent knew who the female was as he glanced over at Atticus, smiling, "Brother, you're lucky to have her." In which Atticus would respond with by nodding, "As I said, she's going to find me, no matter where I am." Atticus stated, smiling. As the smoke cleared, the male became visible first, sporting his iconic smile, the blonde-haired, red-eyed demon known as Despair, stood tall. "Well, who else would you expect to risk life and limb just to get the two of you back?" he asked as he noticed Atticus' attention was more focused on the woman. Sighing, Despair stepped aside and laid back against the wall of the room, "You two really do disgust me, after all." he added, of course he was joking. However, this joyful atmosphere soon came to an end, as Despair looked towards the three guards, that were positioned there. "So, are we going to have to fight or will you be releasing them first?" he asked as he was still in the mood to fight, especially after getting to witness the one called Noira.
As Despair seemed to blow up the door leading into the dungeon, Shira gave an annoyed side glanced towards the man "So much for sneaking in here..." she muttered with a sigh as she looked downward and rubbed her eyes. She glanced up at the girls then and, without saying anything, black tendrils appeared on her back and began lashing out at all three, aiming to constrict them or even impale them.
The group looked towards the door as it exploded, though none of them seemed to react. "They said the DWMA would send someone for them eventually," the kitsune said. "Didn't think the Shinigami princess herself would come though." When Shira shot her tentacles at them, only the little girl jumped out of the way. The kitsune and the girl with the knives simply stood still, not blinking as the tentacles hit them repeatedly. They left slight marks but otherwise didn't cause any damage. The kitsune looked to Despair, ignoring Shira. "You're going to have to fight us first," she confirmed as she continued chewing on her pockey stick, seemingly unconcerned.

As he and Vincent were still locked in there cells, Atticus looked towards Shira and Despair as they began to take on the three guards. Atticus wanted to help them so bad, but for now, all he could do was watch as he was barely able to stand up, let alone try to break free. Glancing at Shira, Atticus sighed, "Don't do anything reckless." he warned her as he did not want to see her hurt, not now. Hearing Atticus, Vincent looked at his brother, "I know what you want to do, but for now, all we can do is watch and hope that they are victorious.""Yeah, I know, Vin. Lets just hope they prevail." While those two talked, Despair watched as Shira unleashed her black tendrils at the three. Clearly she was planning on fighting all out, well who could blame her. They had finally reached Atticus and Vincent, it would be such a pain if they should lose them yet again. Despair noticed how Shira's tendrils did little damage to two of the guards. Perhaps they were able to get augmented against a shinigami, it was that or they were incredibly durable and strong. Either way, Despair knew that he just might have to unleash his full power in this battle, though he did not want to. sighing, Despair started to walk towards the kitsune, "I figured as much, but can you do me a favor? Lets skip the whole warm up and just get straight to the chase." Despair he stated as slowly but surely, Despair's soul wavelength began to rise and his madness level shot up. Right now, he was certainly in the mood to fight, but it seems that he was barely using 10% of his power.
Shira took note that two of them were unfazed by her attack. Butterflies seemed to mold from the appendages on her back and then launched towards the younger girl that dodged her earlier attack. "No promises," she replied to Atticus with a small smile.

Instead of running like how she ran out of the throne room, she took her time to find the entrance and jumps into the hole with Killian bounded against the back of her jacket. She walks with her hands in the pockets and half face covered with the scarf in the cavern in search for the source of the fight is. Only to start hearing some commotion just around the corner, slowly approaching to where the fight is and meets up, looking uninterested as usually. "Never like to rely nor bother to ask someone if they need my assistant since you have your hands full with the rats. Not the smart kind of full."

"Smart girl." Killian commented simply. Slowing down had been a smart move on her part after all. Running would give away the source of their location to any expecting enemies. "Well, doesn't just look like fun?" he said with a smile as he looked upon the commotion that met them.
Abilities: + Skilled Combatant + Soul Resonance: Can synchronize soul wavelength with meister. By doing so, together they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle. + Shredder: Spinning the scythe above the user’s head like rotor blades, lifting him/her, and surrounding enemies, higher into the air before a whirlwind of blades that slash at surrounding enemies. + Feed: Killian becomes powered with energy when striking enemies continuously. Once fully charged, Killian is able to do double the damage with all attacks. + Senrigan: An ability used to quickly map out an area, linking together the vision of multiple individuals. This technique works by allowing its user to see far ahead of whomever he is synchronized with. This can be used at long distances, but the greater the distance there is between Killian and the individual he is synchronized with, the less he is able to see at their location. + Earthquake: By driving the weapon into the ground, Killian is able to send out a traveling shock wave forward.
While everything was going on outside of the cells, inside the cell that Vincent was in, a light appeared above him. It formed into a bubble before popping and a small familiar doll appeared and landed on his head. "Infiltration success!" the doll said before looking around. She looked down then "Yay! Vin is here! Atty too!" Charl landed on the ground next to Vincent and walked over to where the bars were. The doll opened her mouth rather wide and launched a sword of orb towards the ground behind the kitsune and the other Machinists. A portal appeared where the orb hit and someone stepped out of it. "Milady's infiltration complete!"

Out of the portal stepped a woman that, from the madness and wavelength, could only be one person. Charlotte stood a few feet behind the Machinists and, suddenly, the room grew black and the walls seemed to melt as she began her illusion spell. Suddenly, black tendrils launched out from underneath the kitsune and the others, aiming to try and impale her. Charlotte had a sort of expression that wasn't seen often on her. She had a dead serious expression along with a lethal glare as she launched her assault.

Just as the battle was about to begin, Despair glanced towards where the door once stood and found Nasiga and her partner there. "Well, well, well. Looks like we have yet another fighter on our side." he teased as he smiled. A few minutes after the other two arrived, Vincent would look up above him as a strange light appeared, before forming into a bubble and popping, revealing the doll Charl. Seeing this, Vincent couldn't help but smile as Charl's arrival only meant one thing. Even Atticus would seem to smile at the small doll's appearance. "Seems like all of the big guns are here." he stated out loud, to which Vincent responded with, by nodding. The two then watched, as Charl formed a portal and from within it, a very familiar and quite powerful madness radiated. The two didn't even have to say a word as the a lone figure emerged from the portal, revealing itself to be their mother and current head of the DWMA, Charlotte. Vincent wanted to call out to her, but he noticed the serious expression on her face. This would be the first time he had seen her like that. "Brother, I've never seen mother this upset." Vincent stated. "Yeah, she must really mean business." Atticus added. As Charlotte appeared and started attacking his prey, Despair frowned, "Don't you know that it is dangerous to try and take away an lion's prey?" he asked as he fired off a barrage of light beams at the Kitsune and the other two.

When Shira launched a group of butterflies towards the younger girl the kitsune reacted quickly, suddenly appearing in the way and sending a wave of fire towards them that easily ripped them apart. The girl giggled before all three girls turned to look at Marl, the puppet who had just arrived in Vincent's cage. "What the hell is that?" asked the younger girl before the doll shot a sword out of its mouth. The kitsune recognized Charlotte as soon as she appeared and was fully expecting to be the one that was attacked. "Sh*t," she said as Charlotte attempted to impale her. She ran and dived out of the way just in time, the fur of her tail almost being cut by the blades. The younger girl was forced to move as well, shooting her own tentacles outwards to try and counter Charlotte's. Her tentacles were quickly snapped through however and several of the spikes sliced open her skin causing dark reddish blood to begin leaking out. The girl with the knives merely looked down, grabbing the spikes and breaking them with her bare hands. When Despair send out his beams of energy, the kitsune easily deflected the one he sent at her and the younger girl raised the tentacles that formed behind her, using them to smack the beam out of the way. The girl with the knives was hit dead-on and went flying backwards slamming through one of the barred doors of the jail cells and landing into the cell itself. She lay there motionless. "Oh my gosh, did that guy just kill the Carve Lady?" The girl asked, seeming both surprised and amused. "Great..." muttered the kitsune. The kitsune then spun to face Shira and headed straight for her, jumping and spinning around in a circle as she attempted to lash out with her sword and slice open the Shinigami. The younger girl focused on Despair, shooting her tentacles forward to try and impale him much as Shira had tried to do to them earlier.
Shira quickly dodged out of the way of the kitsune's sword before launching her tendrils at the girl while she was focused on Despair. She kept an eye on the kitsune as well as making sure to stay low since Charlotte had her eyes set on the kitsune girl. At the same time, another tendril from Shira lashed out at the bars of the cage Atticus was in, trying to break them.

"I do know. So back off while I kill this woman..." Charlotte replied to Divine. She watched as the kitsune girl seemed focused on Shira which was a mistake on her part. Arms seemed to launch out of the walls and try to grab at the woman after Shira dodged followed by more tendrils that tried to impale her. Charlotte glanced over at the motionless one and tentacles appeared around her to wrap around her limbs so, if there was a chance the girl was still alive, she wouldn't be going anywhere.

Despair watched with an amused expression on his face as one of his beams managed to hit the girl with the knives. He watched as she was sent flying backwards into an empty cell. As she laid there, motionless, Despair seemingly wrote her off as being dead. Hearing Charlotte, Despair seemed somewhat obedient as she told him to back off and that she would take care of the kitsune. "Well, seems like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." he teased. Suddenly, the young girl would send out her tentacle-like appendages towards his location, aiming to impale the demon. Seeing this, Despair would summon a sword of pure light and held it up in front of him, using it to slash the tentacle as they reached him. At the same time, Atticus would watch as Shira attempted to break him free of the cell he was in. Struggling to stand up, Atticus limped towards the bars of his cell and waited to be freed.
