 Tiamat's last battle was a flop, but that wasn't going to change her determination. Once healed, she flew off and into the battlefield once again, looking for a target. Spotting one, she tucked her wings to dive-bomb toward him before spinning and aiming a slash of her tail at him.

 Diesel was flying above the battlefield. Tiamat was flying higher, and he hadn't noticed yet, but after being ambushed by Ling before, he'd been keeping a better eye on his surroundings. He caught a glimpse of her at the last second and angled to evade, catching part of her tail attack as he did so. His weapon was free and swinging in an arc at her side before he even realized she was another cursed. HP: 18

Tiamat, not noticing him carrying a weapon, hissed when it arched toward her. She was still catching herself from her dive-bomb and wasn't fully able to dodge out of the way fully, but enough. It was still a deep wound, but not deep enough to hit any vitals. Growling, she lunged towards Diesel and slashed out with her claws.

Realization dawned after he swung his weapon that he was facing another cursed, and he blinked. "I had heard Martyr was attacking other cursed, but I didn't believe it...why are you not aiding us in defeating the darkness followers?" he asks her, even as he pivots to take a lesser blow from her claws than he could have, and swinging his scythe again. HP: 16

This time, Tiamat was able to dodge the swing of the scythe and only received a scratch. She glared at the Warrior follower, normally rather silent, she decided to give him an answer. "Shouldn't you worry about this battle than what my goddess does or does not do? The Martyr gave us orders to fight the followers of the other cursed deities and it is my duty to do so, just like it's yours to follow whatever the Warrior tells you. It's as simple as that." It was a vague answer and didn't quite answer his question, but she felt that's all he needed to know as she sent a kick flying his way.

"Then your goddess truly is as crazy as everyone says," he answers, not bothering to talk more -- she was right, he had to focus. He took a little bit of the kick as he turned, and holding his weapon up high, brought the butt-end to try and crash it down upon her head. HP: 14

She just smiled proudly when she heard him call her goddess crazy, but that smugness lasted only a brief moment as the butt of the scythe landed hard onto her head, knocking her down to the ground. She crashed hard with a heavy thud, but getting up as fast as she could, she launched herself back into the air, claws swiping at him again.

Diesel started to swoop down to follow as she fell, but she was quick, and rushed back up to meet him -- he took the claws deeply to his chest, grunting, and he flapped his wings to gain enough distance to swing his large weapon at her again. HP: 10

Once again, she overestimated how quick he could swing his weapon and barely dodge the blade of the scythe and getting a good deal of damage again. Snarling, she closed the distance and tried to slash him with her tail.

Diesel tried to bring up his weapon to block her tail this time, though still took some damage in the process, as he lashed out with a kick at her stomach. HP: 8

Tiamat let out an 'oof' when she was kicked square in the gut, once again, sent down to the ground. Landing this time, she was a bit slower getting up, but still managed. Although wounded and getting tired, she wasn't going to give up easily. Flapping her wings, she was airborne again, and gaining speed, she tucked her head in to 'headbutt' him.

Diesel noticed she was slower, and he pivoted as she aimed to spear him with her head -- she collided off his side, he flapped his wings again to gain altitude, trying to swing his scythe to slash at her back and wings as she went by. HP: 6

Tiamat inwardly cursed when he dodged out of the way. Knowing the scythe was going to be swung again, she tried to turn, but just couldn't stop her momentum in time. She let out a wail of pain as the blade ripped through one of her wings and her back, sending her crashing to the ground. Panting, she weakly got to her feet... well, her knees as she crumbled down onto them. She was now grounded and couldn't go up to attack. Growling, she found a nearby rock and with all the strength she had left, chucked it at him.

She couldn't come back up to him, and so he swooped down at her. The rock bounced off of him but he paid it no mind as he barreled at her, his eyes holding nothing but disapproval for her as he held the haft of his weapon out in front of him horizontally, aimed at her head for the finishing blow. HP: 4
