As the season started sliding from summer to the crisp days of fall, Lenka found herself out and about much more often. Sure, school had started, but with the cooler weather, she was quite sure that everyone would be doubling up on patrols. Before she had always thought that summer was the worst time for people to be out looking for trouble, but summer was just too hot, and winter was just too cold. Surely the Negaverse and those awful Dark Mirror Senshi would be out more in fall and spring, because…the weather was just perfect then.
This evening though, she was out because Julienne had called her and told her to meet her in the park. The cat said she had something to give her, so that was pretty cool, at least. Presents were always nice.
The eternal chibi made her way to the park and sat on one of the swings, frowning at how much she had grown between when she was just a basic senshi here, to now, when her legs were too long to fit comfortably on the swings. Lenka really felt that it just wasn’t fair that she was still a chibi, still lower than any super senshi out there…
She had been doing this for so damn long, and she had grown so much…she didn’t look like a chibi, and she didn’t feel like she acted like one either. At five foot, eight inches tall, it was seriously a crime that she still had chibi status. It really was. The redhead gave a sigh and shook her head, looking up when she heard someone call her name.
“There you are, Lenka! I have something for you, I’m glad you could make it!” The large brown cat did a flip in the air, and a moment later a round, green watering can sat at her paws. “Ta-da! I’ve been working on this for you, Lenka. It should help to make you a better senshi.” The cat lifted a paw, rubbing at her muzzle for a moment before laughing. “I don’t know why we haven’t been seeing much of each other, Lenka…but I hope this makes up for my absence!”
Lenka got off the swing and made her way over, picking up the watering can. “Oh wow…Julienne, this is so cool!” She gently traced a gloved hand over the vines that encircled the handle and laughed. “Thank you…Thanks a lot.”
This made her feel pretty darn special. It was something new, something different…something that could really help to make her unique.
The chibi paused a moment later, looking around. She felt the presence of another senshi nearby, another chibi, to be exact. She frowned slightly, waiting for whoever it was to make a move…or to at least say hello…she wasn’t going to be the one to do it, she was too busy admiring her new…watering can. Well. She gave Julienne a look, and opened her mouth to ask just what good the watering can would do, when the cat called out to whoever was near. “You can come closer! We won’t bite you!”

Sailor Chibi Massalia was not unfriendly and he was not overly cautious patrolling when he sensed no Chaos auras. Although young it was easy to slip away for daily patrols with two older brothers - being young nobody missed or blamed him for vanishing for 'quiet', and the eleven year old hummed as he moved along, walking towards the other end of the park idly when he picked up other Order auras.
While not unused to Order, groups were always interesting, and Massalia moved to investigate, tilting his head at a cat giving another chibi a gift - was she chibi? Maybe not... - and he blinked.
Cats gave presents?
Well.
Slowly, Massalia approached curiousity, and waved a bit, blinking.
"Hello." He said, curiously. "What's going on?"

Julienne made her way over to the chibi boy, seeming excited to see someone else besides Lenka. “Hello there! And how are you doing?” The cat was pretty happy right now honestly. She had been working on that watering can for so long, wanting it to be just perfect for Lenka. And now it was…and now it was time to do something else…
The cat looked up at Massalia for a long moment and then laughed. “Oh this is just perfect. How are you doing? Have you been training a lot? May I ask a strange question? Oh. I do apologize, I’m Julienne, and this is my senshi, Lenka.”
The guardian cat felt like she had all the energy in the world right now, so much time and effort had been put into the can, and now it was given, and here was a senshi ready to upgrade…
“May I see your henshin pen, please? I have a gift for you, too.”Lenka blinked, looking at the boy who had wondered close to them. It was another chibi senshi…a basic one, like Goretti had been before Julienne came along and upgraded him. It seemed like her cat was just going to upgrade everyone, didn’t it? The senshi sighed, tucking one of her braids back behind her ear and gave a little wave at Massalia. “Yeah. What she said. I’m Lenka.”
It really wasn’t that fair that this was happening now. This was her moment to get a present from Julienne…Her moment to really shine. Why did he think he was so special? Ugh. Boys.

Massalia blinked - this kitty was exciteable like Horatio, and - the other Senshi's kitty? Still, the boy gingerly produced his pen carefully, handing it to Julienne first. He kept one eye on her the entire time, but looked to Lenka and waved, introducing himsekf to both. "Hello, I am Massalia." He said, blinking, then wondered what Julienne was even doing. Present? For him? He didn't know the kitty!....Not like he would argue though. He looked to Lenka and then Julienne, head tilting. "Can doggies talk too? I have a doggie at home."

Julienne took the pen in her mouth and dropped it onto the ground between her front paws. She didn’t answer Massalia’s question, though, she didn’t really seem to have heard it anyway. All of her attention was focused on the pen, and after a moment it began to glow and as it glowed brightly it changed shape, becoming something new, something different.
Something that was more powerful than what it had been. Just like Massalia would do.Lenka however gave a little laugh. Maybe this kid was kind of funny. “No, Dogs can’t talk. Just some cats. Cool cats. My cat is clearly the coolest cat, so she can of course talk.” The chibi resisted the urge to reach over and pet Julienne just for emphasis, she knew that when cats did their magic it was very time consuming and cost them a lot of energy, so she wasn’t about to botch it up, even if she was feeling just a tad bit jealous of the boy.
Julienne had never upgraded her, though…she was eternal by the time she found Julienne, so that was a moot point anyway…
“Guardian cats are different from normal cats, they’re magical, part of…whatever magic fest we’re all involved in. And Julienne has been with me forever, I think. Forever and ever…though I just found her now, I had a past life, you know. And I’m pretty sure she was mine then. We’re bonded. Thick as thieves.” She sounded so proud and looked back at the cat, hoping she was done.
Maybe upgrades were kind of exciting.The cat seemed terribly pleased with herself, though felt thoroughly exhausted now. She picked the pen up in her mouth and stood up on her back legs, inviting Massalia to take it. “Now, take it back and say, ‘Massalia Asteroid Power, Make-up!’, if you please…and your new gift will take effect…and be complete. I’m very proud of you, by the way, Massalia. Very proud.”

Massalia watched, but his ears were on Lenka, and finally he looked up, blinking before his eyes went bigger. "Past lives? I didn't know that. Or about kitties. I know I got awakened by a kitty. She's nice. I... Don't know if I have one though." Still, he was admiring how luicky the Eternal was to own a kitty. Did all Etyernals get kitties? ...Maybe he and Subra and Almary got kitties! However now was not time for play - now was time for business, and Massalia held his pen p. "Massalia Asteroid Power, Make-Up!" The flash that came was bright. To the naked eye the transformation was instant - to Masdsalia minutes as fabric warped and changed and the young senshi's apparel adjusted and modified itself to appear differently. It still matched his clothes before, and yet it looked different. He felt stronger too, and when he was clearly visibly, the newly minted super senshi was looking himself over with curiosity. "Ooouuuhhh..."

Ohhhh was right. Lenka shut her eyes at the light, and when she opened them she gave her own little ohhh of delight. “Massalia! You look epic. I love the purple. That’s my favorite color.” The senshi walked around the other chibi, taking in the full extent of his upgrade. “That’s just so cool! Congrats. Though, I knew it was coming the moment that Julienne asked for your pen, so I’m not surprised. She loves upgrading senshi. I think it’s her favorite thing to do. She always feels proud and stuff.”
Lenka reached down, playing with the tassels on the boy’s wrist guards and laughing. “I like these. I really do. They’re so fun! Your fuku is so fun.” Julienne gave a little laugh of her own, laying on the ground looking plain pooped. “I may like doing upgrades, but that combined with that watering can I made you Lenka, I don’t know if I even have the energy to walk and find some place to stay tonight…” That was clearly an invitation for Massalia to offer a nice warm bed for Julienne and an even nicer dinner. Because, she had done so much for him, right? She clearly deserved dinner…and chibis always gave the best food. They liked to make the cats happy, after all.
The guardian closed her eyes for a moment and blinked. “Oh. Speaking of your watering can, Lenka. Come over here…this is a good time for you to try it out. If you pour a drop of the water on me, I should get some energy back…that’s how I planned the can to function, at least. I don’t mind being a test dummy!”Lenka blinked and sighed slightly, moving away from Massalia’s tassels and going over to Julienne, tipping her watering can over the cat, allowing some of the water to sprinkle onto her. “Like this, Julie? Is that good enough?”The water smelled sweet and as it touched the cat, it seemed to shimmer slightly. Well. Julienne was quite pleased. It felt as though she had taken a nice cat nap in the sun, all refreshed after a moment. The great large cat stretched, claws flexing slightly and finally stood up. “Much, much better. I’m very pleased with how well it worked! Not that I had too many doubts…but it was my first time really making something…fun like that. I hope you like it, my dear Lenka. And you, Massalia, I hope you like your gift too, you look dashing. Will you take me home tonight and make me dinner? I am ever so hungry.”

Massalia smiled a bit, and held still to let Lenka inspect. Truthfully, he was inspecting it himself, and at the compliments he grinned, half-shy, half appreciatively. "Thank you, Lenka. I like your fuku too. It's so bright and nice!" And it was nice meeting an Eternal chibi in more than passing. The boy then looked to Julienne and offered to pet her, looking to Lenka. While Julienne was a magic talking cat, she was Lenka's[.i] magic talking cat and she seemed older than him.
"May I? My dog won't hurt her."
Freedom Call rarely seemed bothered except by people who may hurt him, a reason Massalia left him home on patrols, and the boy smiled.
"Papa is a wonderful cook, too."

Lenka nodded. “Aw, thanks. I like my fuku too. I’m the senshi of Watermelons if you couldn’t figure that out…but most people figure it out pretty quickly…and of course you can take her. She’s actually not allowed in my house because my mom is allergic to cats, so she mostly lives with my friend Minny who takes care of her for me, but lately, I don’t even know where she’s been, the dumb fat cat.” Julienne scoffed, though nuzzled Lenka gently. “I am not dumb, and I am not fat. I’m fluffy. Very, very fluffy. And maybe a little chubby. But not fat. Though, Massalia, if your papa is a good cook, I very well might end up being fat, not that I would mind. I like salmon. I really, really like salmon. And warm blankets. If you can provide at least the blanket, I would very, very much love to come with you.” She moved over to him, nuzzling his legs as well. “I think though, we should be getting on, it’s getting late, and Lenka, I know your mother would be worried if she went into your room to check up on you, so get yourself home girl.” The chibi rolled her eyes. “Yes, Julienne, right away. Nagging cat.” Lenka bent down and kissed the cat’s fluffy head though, giving her a quick pet before sighing. “Take care of her, Massalia…” She drew out her senshi phone and snapped a quick photo of the boy, grinning. “Maybe you and I can train someday. I’m the best chibi to know if you want to get whipped into shape. I’ve been doing this for almost four years now, to be honest. Since I was ten. And now I’m almost fourteen…so. Yay.”
She gave a little wave and darted off into the night, sending a message to the boy’s senshi phone, nothing more than a winking smile, but still. Now he would have her contact info too. Senshi tech was so first class, seriously.Julienne shook her head, chuckling softly. “So, shall we get on then, Massalia? I’m ready when you are.”

"I'm coyotes!" Massalia said back cheerfully. "And some friends and I would love the help, truly." A friend! And one who could help him help Subra and Almary too! Massalia smiled, letting her take the photo before picking Julienne up, stroking her gently. "I have a blanket yes. You might want to hide if my family comes but that's easy." He wasn't turning down a chance to help a kitty, and the boy hummed, slipping towards home with Julienne in his arms. "I don't know about salmon but I can still find food and a blanket!" The new super senshi beamed to her as he moved, and almost bounced in his step eagerly. It was a good night, and he made friends. This was good fto him!
