Shinsei was out and about on a night of the new moon. No light showing but the stars and even glowing their brightest they didn't light the way for one to walk in. But that was fine. Because he had his own glow. His fiery mane and glowie coat made up for the pitch black of this night. Heading into the forest with grace he steps gently over logs and rocks while avoiding trees and brushes. But he always moves with grace to the point that one could tease him about his hooves never touching the ground. But they do. Just so softly that it seems like they don't. He makes no sounds when walking about. Or even galloping, trotting, and prancing are all without sound when he does them.
This is why one flutter he met long long ago that he was like a ninja or something. One of those that is there but not seem or heard. He took pleasure in that and thought of it as an honor. After all one that is there but not seem or heard was something he never thought he could be seeing that his mane and coat do stand out and are very noticeable. Or at least he has always thought that. Maybe it was because he sleeps in the day time and travels at night and well at night he seems to glow even if only a little. Shaking his head and leaving those thoughts for another time as he listens to the things going on around him.
Hearing water running and splashing into what sounded like a bigger pool lets him know that there is a river and waterfall near by. Needing a drink he starts to head towards the sounds of the water. But it is far off from him still so it would be awhile before he would get to it. Walking about as he makes no sounds as always. Listening to the sounds of the night was important in order to move about without getting hurt so it was also important to learn how to move in ways that you would make little to no sounds at all. This was key to stay out of danger in the night.
Because there are dangers that can only be heard like rattle snakes that are sometimes hidden under logs or leaves. Something that makes them hard to see. And at night even harder to see. And the rattling sound they make is faint if you aren't listening closely or if you make more noise then them. So that is why he walks and moves about so softly around in order to make no sounds at all. Stopping in his tracks as he looks up at the stars. The night was such a lovely one. To bad it wasn't a full moon.

Malvolia was hidden in the depths of the shadows of the woods in which she currently was hunting. She'd found a good spot to hide, and most of her dark colors blended in so very well. She kept her eyes half lidded, to hide the glow of them, and stood so that branches and leaves hid the yellows of her mane and mane feathers, to avoid giving herself away. She had found a decent meal tonight, but was wondering what else she might find. She wasn't tired, and she wasn't at all ready to relax. Edda was somewhere nearby, napping. Like most crows, her companion was not at all fond of being out at night.
A flash of fire colors caught Malvolia's attention, and she carefully turned her head, sitting as still as she could beyond that. What was this she saw? A flaming stallion? How interesting. She was somewhat impressed at how quietly he moved but that flaming hair, and those bright flaming body colors... They gave him away, and so she could see him all too well. Also, he too had eye glows, which didn't help, but... given the rest of him, it was a minor addition. She found herself gazing in interest at this fellow. Was he a fool, thinking he could sneak around at night? Or was he so strong he didn't care? She was definitely curious, and the humorous side of her found herself contrasting her darkness to his brightness, and wondering if his soul matched his body, as hers did.Kara Asumie [color=#2C5468][/color] If you could add hers? Continuing walking about moving without making any sounds as he then stops to scan the area. Being one to travel at night because it is cooler out though in the winter he will travel more in the day. He is a strong fighter when it is needed. But right now he feels as if he is being watched. This is why he is scanning the area that he is in. Not seeing much movement as he sighs a bit. Knowing that he is being watched as he starts to walk again. After all this thing watching him hasn't made a move yet. So there isn't much alarm for him to fight or run off. Though him running from something wasn't likely to happen.
Why would he a great fire element run from something. He has the ability to summon fire with magic because what he is. So even a pure or skin walker wouldn't have an easy time taking him down so there isn't much he worries about.
