Dinner, done.
Bills, done.
Homework... eh, mostly done.
Zia had decided that it was a good night to go index. She had earned an index night and whenever she went so long without new entries, she got anxious. Hvergelmir's upgrade to squire tided her over a bit, but it was craving someone new.
She sought out her usual post in the park, and then took a sharp detour to find somewhere else to fish. She found consistency in her ventures had their own pros and cons. The pros made her easy to find, but the cons remained that everyone else had their own routines and it made it even more unlikely to catch a fresh face. She needed more Negaverse officers in her contacts list, she still had questions, and so far she had gotten nowhere.
Finding what seemed like a fairly foreign and new spot to linger, she powered up to full on Mauvian cat-girl form, unleashing the massive energy leaking aura and sat on a table, bare feet swinging in the air as she waited for the strange signature to attract someone curious.

It was the surge of unknown auric energy that drew Kadyrelite away from her usual beat. The park was huge, but thankfully, with the energy blast to follow, she wouldn't have to waste any time wandering about aimlessly hunting.
Humming a little to herself, the cheerful lieutenant toddled along, following the aura's trail until she saw a slim woman wearing something that looked outlandish (even to someone used to the wild variety of uniforms within the Dark Kingdom).
Pausing, she tried to figure out what the girl was and then gave a mental shrug and walked straight for the other. And then paused again when she realized that what she'd taken as a large hair bow was actually a pair of large cat ears.
"Oh!" she breathed out before grinning and coming closer. "You're a Guardian cat! I've never seen one who could look human before!"
For a moment, she looked like she would love nothing better than to drive forward and catch the cat-lady in a hug, but she managed to restrain herself. Though she couldn't help the longing stare directed at the woman's ears and tail. They looked so soft!Carneli Sorry for taking so long to reply!

The cat-girl halted and spun on the heels of her bare feet, a gesture made with intentional flair to spin the overlay she wore outward. Her hands were weaving and fiddling with her fingers behind her back.
"Hello!" She said, brightening at the sight of the lieutenant. She adored the Negaverse's smaller officers. They were a nice middle ground of exotic and not usually so...
Scary.
She matched her grin, but there was a bit of body language that hinted at a preparation to move at any second. For all of the happy, warm smiles, she was very much a look but not touch sort of person and there were some vibes there.
"Not all Mauvians know how to unlock this form, I've noticed recently," She said, extending her arms out as if to inspect them. She shrugged and dropped them to give a little curtsy. "I'm Zirconia, guardian to the Black Moon. Pleasure to meet you!"

Black Moon? That was a new one. Still, she couldn't let herself be distracted from what was really important here. She was talking to a cat-girl. Still smiling, she crept forward step by tiny step. Don't Touch vibes had never stopped her from hugging before, but since this Zirconia looked like she might bolt, Kadyrelite decided to take things as easily as she could.
"I'm Kadyrelite and what's a Black Moon? Some kind of weird eclipse name? Or maybe a metal band. It sounds pretty metal. With some fancy makeup and a few spikes on your outfit, you could be the most metal kitty ever."
Right on the heels of Metal!Kitty thoughts came another, that was equally pleasant.
"So, we're told that you guys are space aliens. Is that true? Are you an alien?"
There was something in her tone and posture that suggested that in the event of a 'Yes', every dog within a ten mile radius would end up bleeding from the ears thanks to the cosmic sized Squee that she was ready to unleash.
Aliens were awesome. And alien catgirls even more so!

There was a short laugh. "I think I'm content not being metal kitty. The Black Moon Court is the moon queen's court from the universe on the other side of the mirror, obviously." She gestured to the dark crescent moon on her head. "I was her guardian cat."
She paused and pursed her lips at the space alien question. "You guys? Guardian cats, yes. All guardian cats come from planet Mau. I don't remember it much, I left when I was young and it's been nearly a hundred years since I last saw it."
She held her arms behind her back again and rolled on her heels in thought. "I dunno about senshi. It seems kind of weird to think about. Like, I am pretty sure that all of you humans are the same species no matter where your soul is rooted or draws power. But I have also seen humans from space with strange features that aren't common here. So I dunno. Mapping the senshi/moon princess/earth human genome is probably necessary to get down to the bottom of that question and we obviously aren't doing that here."

Kadyrelite had very little interest in alternate dimensional moon queens when she had her very own alien standing in front of her. Grinning hugely, she clapped her hands excitedly and let out a high pitched squeal of absolute glee.
"Oh my god, if Giorgio Tsoukalos knew about you! Ancient Aliens would be even more awesome. So did you, uhh, Mauvians help build the pyramids? What about Stonehenge? Do you know about Area 51?"
Anything about space DNA was lost momentarily as Kadyrelite focused only on the fact that she was talking to a real live alien. Oh, she'd come back tot he whole gene-mapping thing later, but for now... Aliens. Never not.

The cat-lady looked fairly blank faced as she started rattling of famous places and theories that Zirconia wouldn't have known about if not for Zia's memories and Zia would not have suspected any supernatural aspect to had she not one day stumbled upon a moon queen who asked for her assistance.
"Iiiiiii... am not sure," She admitted after a very long silence of looking completely stunned.
"I am of Black Moon origin, things in my universe aren't the same here. We have no... um... Area 51. We don't have a lot of the technology here. The cats here make strange things like cell phones and... I believe there is a base but I've never seen it or been in there."

Face falling in disappointment, Kadyrelite clicked her tongue and sighed.
"Ah, boo. That's no fun. So, if this Black Moon of yours doesn't have tech, what do you use? Is it like Dungeons and Dragons type magic s**t or are you guys more like our Dark Ages Europe? Oh, please tell me y'all at least have working toilets!"
She blithely ignored the stunned look that was plastered across Zirconia's face. Really, she was used to people wearing that expression when she was around. She supposed that it just meant that people were in awe of her wit and charm!

"Magic," Was the initial, blunt answer. "Mirror magic is our specialty, it would seem. It's where it originated, at least. It's not native to this universe at all. It came over when Queen Nehelenia arrived in pursuit of the thief who stole her royal crystal."
She rolled on her heels. "Although it's misappropriated to frauds, these days."
Her eyes lidded at the question about the dark ages and indoor plumbing, but the question was just met with a shrug before her friendly facade was painted back on. "On the plus side, we did not suffer a war and subsequent reincarnation cycle, so if there is anything you'd like to know about magic, I can likely answer your questions."
