━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┫ ♝ ┠━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Fortune Lady IX INDENTIt always felt so much nicer to be in the presence of her own home, whoever had come up with the saying, "Home Sweet Home" was right, because she didn't have to wear a ballgown that weighed ten pounds and drag it through the hot Nevada sun.
She was lounging about on a checkered sofa. For a witch, she could say she had a nicer range of necessities than the majority. Witches for a most part weren't very materialistic but, with all the money that was easily accumulated for her, she had become rather generousness in her purchases.
Casino's pet rabbit, Joker, hopped into the room a second later, the bunny quickly found his owner at the couch and swung over to her. The furniture proved too big for the bunny to climb and he squeaked at Casino for help, which she was happy to oblige to and picked him up, placing his fuzzy body on her stomach. She gave him a few warming strokes from his head to tail before fiddling with a deck of cards.
Joker climbed further up his owners body, making sure she could directly see him before squeaking rapidly in what almost sounded like anger, "How could you?" was his translation, as being a rabbit herself allowed her to communicate with him, "How could you leave a key to our doorstep in the hands of a Miester?"
"Calm your flufffy-behind down. I didn't exactly hand them a map or tell them how to get here. They'll have to figure it out themselves." she was interrupted by a few more squeaks, "Well because they're interesting. You can't honestly expect me to let people like them go, can you?" she smirked, tickling the rabbit's ear where she knew exactly it bothered him. Joker backed up some and laid back down on her stomach, his back facing her to show he was angry. Unfortunately, this didn't convey his point across, only make him look cute and Casino snickered.

All of Casinos cards stacked together in her hands after completing and equally prefect shuffle. The witch let out a deep breath, indicating movement for Joker to jump off and hop away from her before suddenly being forced by Casino herself as she got up and off the couch.
"Well. I better go take my bath for the day now." she talked partially to herself and to Joker, who still seemed to be somewhat angry at her. "Why don't you stop being an moody loop and start dinner, will ya?" she asked with a snicker, reaching down to pet Joker again but he moved out of the way before she could touch him and hopped away towards the kitchen. He may be angry at her but, he knew better than to ignore an order.
Casino walked off in the opposite direction. If it wasn't already bizarre enough living in a giant card house, then the interior would kill you. Hallways that never seemed to end, doors scattered everywhere, some parts even made you go completely upside down! But this was home alright and the witch knew exactly where she was going with each step.
She fell in front of a door shaped like the six of spades, turning one of the emblems as the door unlocked with a click and swung open. Inside the room, mirrors created a cove around a single, large porcelain shaped bathtub that lay in the center. The water was already drawn and warm stream misted off the top of it when she entered, it was only the matter of removing her garments and getting it.
Nice and cozy warm, she sank into the waters with a refreshing sigh. Her own ears flexed completely down to reflect her relief.

Another Alice Falling
Victor and Malcolm had spent the last three days touring Nevada. While they were walking around, Victor stopped, an odd sensation reaching him from his pocket. He pulled out the card that he had been given by Casino. He looked around him and saw a house made of cards to his right. Something about it seemed to draw him closer. Victor walked toward it and tried the handle, and it was unlocked.
Malcolm, who had still been walking and talking to Victor, realized his friend wasn't there anymore. He turned around to see him opening the door to a house of cards. Malcolm quickly ran after him, shouting, "Wait for me, big guy!!!"
As Victor and Malcolm stepped inside, they were in awe of the insane styling. They weren't even sure which way was up anymore. The both agreed on a random hallway and began to walk down it. It seemed to stretch for miles, but they continued to walk. Malcolm punched Victor in the shoulder. "Way to go, ya big goof. Now we're lost!" Victor looked down at his friend and just smirked. "Yeah, but you have to admit, this seems like it will be fun." Malcolm smiled at his friend. "You're right about than, buddy."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┫ ♝ ┠━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Shuffling Trouble XI INDENTHe was still mad even after Casino had left to take her bath. Mopping around the kitchen in a irritable mood while he searched around the pantry and cupboards for something suitable for them to eat.
You may think it's strange for a rabbit to be cooking dinner but he had gotten used to preparing meals quite often. Casino had altered the kitchen so it was easy enough for him to get up and navigate without having to go on mile back and forth trips to one side to another. Now only if she could do the same to the couch.
Go figure. The only thing they had around was carrots and mochi. He would think will all the cash that Casino racked in from gambling that could at least keep a refrigerator stocked. Casino wasn't a tightwad with cash but she wasn't exactly a spender either and he would have to tell her to get food soon.
He left the kitchen and hopped down the halls, going to Casino her options (carrot stew or carrot mochi) for her meal. He knew had to navigate these halls, maybe even better than Casino, and it did help that she had rigged the place with little shortcuts and tunnels to make his job less of a hassle.
"Honestly, its probably animal cruelty tat she makes me do everything..." her thought outloud, peeking out from one the shortcut doors and pulling into a new hallway. "She's a witch isn't she? Can't she use magic or some-"
Joker stops dead in the hallway. His red eyes widen upon seeing the two boys from earlier look puzzled in the middle of his house. He knew Casino had made a bad decision. And now he wasn't quite sure what to do.

Tyrus and Malcolm stop when they see little Joker. Malcolm walks up to the little rabbit and smiles. "Aww. I remember you little guy." He then reaches to scratch behind the rabbits ears. "Do you know where that pretty lady you hang around with is at?" Victor chuckled and shook his head. "Come on Malcolm. Do you really expect an answer? It is a rabbit after all. You'll probably just get a twitch of the nose and some pellets on your shoe." Victor chuckled as he stepped closer, thinking it would serve Malcolm right to get rabbit droppings on his shoes for saying that he had gotten them lost.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┫ ♝ ┠━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Shuffling Trouble XII INDENTThis was bad, bad indeed,. His first reposne would to be to run to Casino to warn her. Since chances were she wasn't scanning the area for intruding souls. However, he was near afraid that he might lead them to right to her and that could be the end of it all.
He took a different course of action. The plan: to lead them away from Casino. He watched as both boys came near him and made an attempt to guide them away in the opposite direction. If he could stall at least for a little time, that be a second more for Casino to-
Of course it happens now. A minimal force shakes the house and Joker stands on his hind legs alarmed. Casino, unconventionally, must have just dropped her Soul Protect. Joker gulps, knowing now that he's only got one choice since she's practically wearing a "come-find-me" sign.
He dashes, right underneath Malcom and Victor and races down the hallway, navigating his way to Casino as quickly as his fluffy legs will take him. If he can warn her in time, she might be able to escape with her soul.
Her turns left, then a right and slams right in front of the six of spades door. Eeeping and squeaking outside the door.

The moment Casino had dropped her soul protect, Malcolm and Victor both looked in the direction it came from. They saw Joker scurrying off and both ran after him. Of course, since they were both actually running, Victor took an early lead, being right Joker's little tail. Malcolm, however, was a bit slower, and was quickly out of sight. Victor slid to a stop in front of the door and saw Joker sitting outside it, squeaking like mad. "So she's in here, huh?" Victor began to mess with the door, trying his best to open it, but had no idea how it was supposed to open. He very quickly became frustrated and looked down at the little rabbit. "How does this stupid door open?! Ugh. Look at me, I'm talking to a rabbit!" He felt extremely silly now.

The little rabbit shaking like a leaf outside the door while the Mesiter yells at him. Poor bunny looks like he's about to have a heart-attack...
"This better be good Joker! I was just getting comfortable!" a paranoid voice calls from the other side of the door and with a force enough to push both Victor and Joker away from the door, Casino stamper out. To put it bluntly, she isn't wearing anything, no towel, no nothing, unless you count the ribbon holding her hair up in a ponytail.
She looks down, expecting to see the familiar rabbit but is surprised when she sees...shoes? It's a simple slow lift of the head that makes her gaze trail upwards. Shoes, then legs, then a body...and finally, a face.
Casino is now looking dead straight into Victor's eyes, her red ones blinking once. She trys to recall where she's seen him before and quickly remembers. "...Oh hey, it's you."

Victor was taken totally by surprise when the door opened. After falling to the floor, he slowly went to sit up, but then he saw Casino standing before him. Totally naked. He managed to stammer out, "H-hey..." and then fell back again as blood gushed from his nose and his face became the same shade of red as hearts in a playing deck.
Shortly after, Malcolm rounded the corner and took in what he saw. As he looked Casino up and down, he gave a low whistle and said, "Well, I take it back Victor. This is the best idea you've ever had." He gave his friend on the floor a grin, then went back to admiring Casino's body. He gave her a wink, showing his approval.

"...Uh...You want some help..?" Casino pondered with a tilt of her head debating on if she should approach him or not. It was at this point she was drawn to the attention of Malcom's whistling.
She waved at Malcom, seeing as he didn't fall over like his nosebleed friend on the floor. "Hi there! I really didn't expect you guys to find this place so soon!" she smiled, approaching the weapon and cautiously avoiding Victor on the floor as to not step on him.
"I realized I forgot to introduce myself back at the DWMA, so, my name's Casino, and you are again?"

Malcolm had to tear his eyes away from the sight of Casino's body as she spoke to him. "Oh! Well, I'm Malcolm. And that, over there on the floor, is Victor."
Victor had managed to stand back up now, tilting his head back so no more blood got everywhere. His clothes were covered, but that was something he was actually used to.
Malcolm chuckled at the state his friend was in. He then said to Casino, "So, is it just me, or do you look a bit..... different, than the last time we saw you? Besides the whole no clothes thing, I mean." Malcolm smiled and tried his hardest to keep looking at her eyes rather than her chest.
Victor focused on Casino's ears, knowing for certain she didn't have those the last time they met. He wanted to ask if they were real, but at the moment he was lucky to even be standing, let alone speaking. He cursed himself for being so shy and awkward around women. Especially very beautiful and naked women.

"Oh yes! Victor and Malcom!" she repeated, clapping her hands together happily. She hadn't completely blanked on the names but she didn't want to run the risk of getting it wrong.
She seemed confused when the mentioned her looking different than before but, he quickly got the message. "Yeah, I do look a bit different when I'm out in the open like that. But, It's more of just a defense mechanism we witches use to make sure no one knows who we are, that could get catastrophic, right?" she laughed, reaching her hand out to both of the boys friendly.
"But I'm so happy you guys actually showed up! We can have so much fun now. I have so many questions to ask you!"

Victor nodded and said, "That's fair I suppose. And we'd be happy to answer your questions..... as soon as you get dressed of course." Malcolm was nodding right along, agreeing with Victor until he heard the last statement and smacked his friend in the arm and whispered to him, "Dude! What are you doing? When will this ever happen to us again?!" Victor glared over at Malcolm and backhanded him in the chest, briefly knocking the air out of him. He then said to Malcolm, "Quit being such a perv." He gave Casino an apologetic look and kept his eyes on hers, trying to fight off another nose bleed.

These problems never occurred in witch culture (granted the rate of wizards was remarkably low) so her ears just bent curiously while er eyes fell upon herself.
"Am I really that ugly...?" she murmured under her breath. She inspected the crevices of herself briefly, unable to make out any major flaw that may disturb them.
She snapped her fingers, being considerate of their wishes. Her hair fell down suddenly and in a sudden wave, clothing began to form from her neck all the way down, finally stopping when it materialized a pair of red high heels on er feet.
"Is this better?" she asked, spinning around in her usual get-up.
