Mind realms, also known as mindscapes are a unique ability utilized by many ninja, particularly demon hosts. With few exceptions, the only way to access a mind realm is via the use of the Meditation technique.
A mind realm is an alternate world unique to each character. This world is created within the character's mind as a side effect of meditation, or, in the case of Jinchuuriki, their demon's influence. Every mind realm is different, usually first shaped by the character's innermost desires or mental state. Within their mindscape, a character is able to alter the world as they see fit, being able to build constructs or even change the terrain with a mere thought. This ability is commonly used by ninja as a meditative aid, allowing them a malleable focus to interact with in order to reach the goal of their meditation. Few techniques exist to allow a character access to another's mindscape, so for the most part a character will always be alone when within their mind. Should they be invaded however, they can use their mental abilities as they see fit against the invader. However no damage done to the invader will actually be dealt in reality, unless dictated by the technique used to invade.
For a Jinchuuriki, the mind realm is a bit different. Their trapped demon generally resides within the mind realm somewhere, sometimes obvious, sometimes hidden, and like the host, hold some control over the world around them. Some demons use this power to sculpt the world themselves, others simply to interact with their host. The demons are however always contained within a cage, and are unable to physically interact with the host unless the host enters or opens the cage. When a demon's cage is opened, if the host is not a perfect host, the two minds fighting for control reach a stalemate, and the world is locked in it's current form until the battle is resolved. Perfect hosts may allow their demon to roam freely without such a stalemate occurring.
As every character is capable of manifesting a mind realm, and every realm is different, all players are allowed to, upon learning the meditation technique or otherwise being forced into their mindscape, create a thread in this subforum dedicated to that character. That thread may then be used any time the realm is accessed, and used as a normal RP thread detailing any actions within the character's mind. Unless using special techniques designed to invade a mindscape, other players are not allowed to post within another player's mind realm
