It was the sound of more of the maglardilla's buzzing that alerted him to the fact that the pair were actually heading back his way. It made him wonder if they were just circling about for the fun of it or if they were trying to either get a good look at him to see if he was good to eat. Either way it did made him a little uncomfortable and put him on edge as they continued to circle about. Due to the sheer fact alone that he didn't quite trust the bugs or whatever they might be planning he kept his ears open for them, listening to the way they were buzzing, as they came and went, making sure that they weren't getting too close to where he was patrolling at the moment.
Of course just as he was starting to relaxing, thinking that they were just circling for the heck of it they started to get closer and closer to him at what sounded like quite the rapid pace, not a good sign if you asked him. Whirling around the toward the sound he drew back one huge, gauntlet glad fist, then threw it forward into a strong punch... and knocked one of the two maglardilla out of the air, causing it to crash against the tree. It's form bounced off the trunk and fell to land on one of the tree's wide roots where it went still. Once he was sure that the first one wasn't getting back up he turned to look for the second one.
With his full attention now on the other maglardilla he watched it as it set to circling around him at a decent clip, as though it were trying to decide upon its next course of action. Seeing its fellow bug getting smashed under the giant fist of the dark skinned Gyuri didn't exactly give it the boost of confidence that it needed to actually try to take the big man on. If anything it did the exact opposite, causing the creature to refrain from getting within arm's reach of the giant as it circled about. It took a bit of time, a bit of thought, but the instinct that told a creature that survival was most important won out. After giving Gyuri an angry sound, telling the giant exactly what the maglardilla thought of it, the creature was on its away, fleeing from the giant of a man, and didn't come back again.
After standing stock still for a time, eyes scanning the forest around him to make sure he was absolutely positive it wasn't going to try to sneak back to attack him he moved to scoop up the fallen bug. He gave it a once over, deciding that it would be a good bit of food for those he was taking care of. Not the prettiest or biggest meal around but still something worth bringing back since it would get their energy up. Once everyone had been fed he'd be on his way again, back to patrolling once more.
