Eponine and her older brother, Aedelric, were orphaned as younglings after a war over land that their family owned. After wandering the streets, the pair were adopted by a large group of nomads and raised mainly in between villages. Eponine never really knew what a home was, aside from the bed she had when she was very young, and is thoroughly used to wandering aimlessly into unknown lands. However, she doesn't appreciate the forests of Jauhar, so far, and is considering begging her brother to wander out into Tale where here headscarf won't get caught in as many branches.

Eponine adores her older brother, mostly because she thinks if she bats her eyes at him enough, she can get him to buy her anything she pleases. She genuinely loves him, though, and likes to give him random hugs while they travel.
