It had been some time since Mintaka had powered up, had actually patrolled. Got outside from her house where she was haunted by the memories of the park scene. How could a blissfully quiet night go so wrong?
She could've gotten Merlinite hurt, he could've ended up how...how that negaverse general had. Dead.
She could've ended up like the knight who had a spear run through her, or the DMC that had been injured. She was scared and weak and pathetic in her attempt to do anything in the park. But what really haunted her was the knowledge of purification. If someone could corrupt, like Haumea, then someone could purify. She had no idea how the process worked, how it effected their sides. She wanted to know more about it, but was less then thrilled to try and seek out a princess or prince of either courts to ask...much less ask Zinkinite, since it would be pretty much like giving him permission too.
She thought about what Astarte said, if she wanted to know more, then she should find a guardian cat. She only knew three really, and one she would never find again. The other she had upset...The last one well...
The best way to attract the last one was with tea....of course. But mainly snacks. She set out a large tray on her little table, sipping her tea and waited. Hoping ********* would find her way here.

If the Negaverse were intelligent, they would set up similar fishing traps for the chubby guardian cat. However, the agents that were familiar with this tactic had yet to use it against the manx.
So it was a flawless plan upon MIntaka's part to do her usual evening tea party and set up many snacks for her small visitor.
Her eventual approach was not hard to notice if one was not deaf. A gentle jingling sound seemed to liven up the air. Eventually a small cat seemed to appear nearby.
"Ah, you really do seem to like tea, Mintaka!" With a subtle purr, she scurried over to the Super Senshi's ankles.

The jingling didn't worry her as ********* approached, and Mintaka's smile widened. Tea and snacks were the best way to attract anyone in the area.
"Hello *********." She set her cup down to hold her hands out for the little guardian cat. "I was hoping you'd come and visit me today, I've been thinking about you." She chuckled lightly, gently petting the small manx. "And tea is the best for when you have guest. I'll pour you a cup if you'd like to help yourself to some of the snacks." She got up to pull out the chair for ********* she set some phonebooks on it and covered it with a cushion for the small cat.
If she was having a guest, then the guest deserved the best comfort. That way ********* wouldn't have to clamber over the table.
"How have you been-" Cutie, small adorable fluff, let me hold you, "*********>

"My goodness, I am not used to being so spoiled, Mintaka!"
With a playful giggle, the manx seemed to follow the senshi to the chair, hopping up into the seat, then crawling up the books to the cushion.
Once seemingly settled into place, she nodded her head to the Origami senshi. "If you could make that a cup of cream, I would be grateful!"
Polite conversation was not a foreign thing to the little Mauvian, not with Lydia in her life. "Well, truth be told, I have been kept quite busy! You know, running about doing errands here and there, that sort of thing!"
With a little giggle, she returned the question. "And how about you, Mintaka? Have you been well?"

"I'm glad you feel spoiled!" Mintaka switched the cup to cream, gently pushing it over to the mauvian and leaning a bit on the table to rest her chin on her hand. "After what happened I'm sure it'd be good to have a nice restful night?"
She blinked a bit owlishly, "A day in the Mauvian life is never boring? That sort of thing yes?" She chuckled a bit again.
"I'm....troubled." She took a sip of her tea, turning her head away from the guardian. "Recently I was caught up in a couple of impromptu battles, mind you I would never take part in something like that, and I've heard a few words dropped here and there. Even more recently I saw a glimpse of one in the works?" She set her cup down. "I've just about absorbed the Senshi's information from the phones that we are allowed, but I still don't think I understand the concept. ********* you tell me about purifying? and more about corruption?" She gave a sheepish smile, "I hate to drop right into it, but if you'd prefer to snack first and talk later, that is fine as well! As you've said, you've been busy, and I would prefer this was a nice night for you, especially if my curiosity brings about a heavy topic..." As such, she gently pushed the tray closer to ********* anyways. All the cookies and snacks first *********>

"I am sure it depends on which Mauvian you speak to! Some are content just sitting about, and some are not. I would be in the latter category!"
Mintaka turned away briefly before she began to speak of things in a way that seemed like rambling. Perhaps it was an effective way to get the questions and subconscious curiosities out in the open.
"...If I were to guess, you were involved in that mess in the park." The cat's ears pressed back for a moment or two. "It would seem as if Vespa did not take nearly as much care in the matter of purification as he seemed to let on initially when Iris and I met him."
********* was an impressive cat at times, for at that moment she pulled one of the cookies closer to her body so she could snack while she spoke with the senshi.
Taking a small nibble, she then continued. "Corruption is when you alter a starseed using some sort of chaotic force. The easiest way to liken what chaos is... probably like saying it is evil. I know some would disagree with that description, but it is the easiest way to explain it." With a faint chuckle, she continued.
"The easiest examples of corruption would be the Negaverse Agents. Their starseeds were altered, from what I understand, from their natural state. Different individuals react differently to chaos flowing throughout their starseed, but it is a dangerous ingredient to add to a starseed. You may have seen a corrupted senshi before too, and the results of chaos upon their starseed is a bit more evident. You know, the holes in their foreheads and chest usually seem like... unhealthy ailments to have."
She paused again for another nibble, a bit of flavor for her tongue before she went back to flapping her gums at Mintaka.
"Now... purification is the process in which one removes the chaos from an afflicted starseed. To my knowledge, the process requires a crystal of great power. Those usually are only able to be wielded by a senshi Prince or Princess. If there are other methods, I am not aware of them at the moment."
With a nod, she seemed to silently give Mintaka a sort of permission to respond or question her statements further, while ********* innocently made sure to nibble up some more cookie.

"I've met very active Mauvians! You and Abel and Thetis are very...active." She nodded before leaning over to the table. "Yes the mess in the park is a mild way of putting it but yes. I was just enjoying tea like this on the roof and got snagged into the middle of it." She blinked and then nodded, "one of the negeversers said as much when we spoke."
But ********* was moving her way into the talking corruption and purification, so she quieted down, mentally filing away the new information.
"I have met a corrupted senshi but...I didn't get to ask much of him. It seemed he didn't quite understand anything more then that Order side was wrong and that he had been freed from the restraints as such." Mintaka's hands tapped on the table, "I am not one to judge others for their views or purposes. But I am curious as to why Haumea would corrupt. Does it change them? Corruption? And vice versa for Purification?"
She hummed, "As messing with Starseeds. that's serious..." She set her cup down and looked troubled. "So princesses...like...the Moon princess? Is that who did the purification for Vespa?" To be honest, Mintaka didn't know any white court princes or princess. Well she knew OF Chronos but not like...that princess was much different from others wasn't she?
She only knew of the dark mirror court prince Remarque and the general king Zinkenite.

The feline's ears perked up at the mention of a particular Mauvian. There was absolutely no hesitation in her voice either as she pointed out "Oh! Thetis is my partner actually!" It was only a recent discovery on her part, but the manx had accepted this fact with an open heart.
Her cookie got a lick and then was nibbled upon once more as Mintaka continued to muse aloud.
"You could say that corruption clouds a starseed with negativity. In turn, it can develop into negativity in a person. Negativity can be in all sorts of forms. Vulnerability is one way it could affect a person... which leads them to accepting the false as if it were truth. Some grow far more violent, allowing the sense of wrath to consume them."
The request for a reason for why someone would corrupt caused the manx to pause. Thoughtfully, she licked her paw and ran it over the back of her head.
"...the truth of the matter is... corruption is able to be forced. Some go to the Negaverse willingly, but there are many who are taken against their will. So there is a chance this Haumea you mentioned may have a reason, in which, only he'd be able to answer that. However, there is also a chance there is no reason at all and he was taken without consent."
The cat actually had to sit herself up to address the next matter, leaving her poor cookie there to sit alone, without love, for a brief moment.
"Princesses, yes... though, the Moon Princess, as I recall, is a class all her own." The tailless Mauvian only knew brief tidbits about the mysterious Moon Princess, but she did know she had far more power than the majority of senshi out there fighting in this war.
"The one who assisted Vespa in his purification was indeed a Princess. She is actually one of the girls I watch over. She is known as Sailor Iris... I will be honest... not quite what a person will usually associate as being a Princess."

"Partner? As in he's your um..." She waved her hand, "Like teammate or...boyfriend..cat?" That'd be really cute actually, did the Mauvians date? Speaking of *********, was killing Mintaka with her slow nibbles of cookie and the way she was eating it and Mintaka really wanted to scoop her up and hold her tight.
"O...Oh I didn't realize..." She put her hand over her heart, suddenly feeling a sense of anxiety and racing. "A...Any negaverser can corrupt a senshi?" She wondered if Haumea was the latter of the two? and her concern ran deep. Though he seemed well contented with his position and who was she to change that? It still worried her.
"I see..." The less she knew about the moon princess, the more she seemed a mysterious enigma no one ever solved. "...Like..." Mintaka waited, "I didn't...I didn't know that the side of order had more then one princess. I mean, I know of Chronos, but I thought of her as um..." She waited, "her own court and her own...yeah." Words what were they.
She blinked, "Sailor Iris? Wh...Why would you not say she is like a princess *********?" She waited, "Is she too kind?" Obviously Iris had to be kind, she was a princess and she was one who risked herself to purify a senshi under heavy arm. She was imagining a long haired beauty, with poise and all the charms of a lady she wanted to be....

There was no hesitation or embarrassment in her response to the inquiry about Thetis.
"He's my teammate!"
Remaining as diligent as possible with the subjects at hand, ********* continued on.
"The higher ranking Negaverse officers are the ones able to corrupt if I remember correctly. I am not 100% certain, but I think it is the Generals and higher ranks that can force corruptions. I am not sure of the exact mechanics, since by technicality I am considered the enemy. I only get the scraps of information!"
With a chuckle, the cat lifted her paw and placed it before her maw to soften the sound. "Chronos is the Princess of the Zodiac Court, as I recall. However, not every Prince or Princess has a Court to serve. Some prefer to work alone or perhaps with a small collection of Senshi they are comfortable with. Even though there are more than one Royal in the ranks, it does not mean they are common."
Her paw went back down to the soft pillow as the cat tilted her head. It was a curious question to have of Sailor Iris. And where as ********* knew that the Princess was indeed kind, it was probably not the reason why people would find difficulty in labeling her as a Princess.
"It probably has a lot more to do with the fact she curses like a Sailor... people don't usually associate that with royalty as I recall!"

"I see! That's good, Teammates are good..." She hesitated, "Mauvians can have romance though right?" She wondered it just because...for reasons *********.
"So...okay." She relaxed just a little, but only in the sense that perhaps if she wasn't careful around Zinkenite, she'd end up like Haumea...and she wouldn't remember why. "That's okay, you've provided more then enough for me to be a little more wary around the negaverse. Though I find...some of them are approachable." She'd have to remember that not everyone felt the same as she did.
"What about the Dark Mirror court?" She hesitated, "I've been offered to join their court more then once." By Chariklo, Remarque and Canopus respectively. "Are they...Is it considered corruption to their court as well?"
She blinked at the description of Iris...it was just..so blunt. "Oh I see...Well...I suppose there is many types of princesses." She nodded and dashed her hopes of meeting someone that was very lady like.

The cat's ears twitched a bit as her head's tilt moved a bit more to the side. Her head was just short of a 90 degree turn at this point.
"...I would like to think that if a Mauvian had time to enjoy the company of another Mauvian, then that would be acceptable!"
Her head straightened up as she asked about the Dark Mirror Senshi, and for a moment she closed her eyes as if to think of a way to explain her sentiments.
Once she seemed to find a way to explain it, her eyes were open and she spoke up again. "I will be honest, I do not know extensive details about the Dark Mirror Senshi that have appeared in the city. However, their auras are distinctly of a chaotic nature. The Negaverse chaos versus the Dark Mirror chaos would be like comparing the effects of Heroin versus the effects of Cocaine. They are different sorts of drugs, but they still all have negative effects."
She blinked before finally pulling her lonely cookie closer again. "And just like with the Negaverse, not all will know that they are being influenced by the Chaos flowing through them."
With that, she eased herself into leaning down and taking another bite of her cookie. "You need to tell me where you buy these so I can bother some of my friends to buy them for me!"

Mintaka's brow rose and she rested her chin her hand as she watched *********.
Perhaps a little in her heart, she hoped the cute female guardian would fall with the cute male guardian and they would produce...kittens? Adorable guardian children. It was the romantic in her.
"Do...Does..." Mintaka frowned, "I just...Sometimes I don't understand these distinctions between order and chaos. Why does chaos have two...factions if I may, while Order has one? Why do they fight?"
She sighed, "I've heard the mirror court is often considered true invaders, compared to us moon court but...I just don't know."
She was all sorts of troubled now, but pulled out a pen and paper for *********. "Actually its a quaint bakery I've become very fond of." Arias had great amounts of treats, and since the knight had been so kind to her, she often returned to grab snack from him. She reached over to set the paper down and her hand hesitated over ********* head. "Do you like to be pet?"

********* let out her own sigh too.
"Alas, my information on the Dark Mirror Court is not all that outstanding. If one wanted to learn more about them in general, the person you would want to talk to is Zirconia..."
The cat perked up distinctly after the girl began writing up the information for the bakery down. With a rather eager smile spreading upon her maw, she considered the hand looming over her.
"I rather enjoy being pet... Some people give them without prejudice, and some people are stingy with them. I prefer those who are generous with them!" The manx giggled, briefly imagining Iris giving out love so openly like a normal person.

"I most defenitly tried...at Zirconia." Mintaka laughed, "She didn't have anything nice to contribute to um...the dark mirror court. That's okay though, I have a couple of friends within their court, I'll ask them..." She gave ********* a reassuring smile, "About how the process works, I will not be asking them to join their court."
"And that's good, Zirconia didn't mind pets either but I always feel weird I mean...since I am petting you and you can turn into human...like...I just suppose I don't want you to think I think of you as a common household pet." She laughed, running her hand down the manx's soft fur.
"You are really the cutest cat *********, it's hard not to scoop you up."
