With only a few seconds remaining before 2:00 p.m., Mimsy arrived in the cafeteria, her strides brisk and purposeful. Punctuality was highly important when attending specifically scheduled meetings, so she was relieved to discover that Nellie was already sitting at a table that was both simple to locate and reach in a timely manner. There was a small stack of notebooks in her arms, an amount of material that was perhaps more fitting for a full day of classes than a tea time, which she placed on the table as she sat down.

"Salutations, Nellie." She stretched one long, thin arm across the table, extending her hand towards her in greeting. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance in person. Before we begin - do you have a tea that you prefer, or would you like to try mine? It is a black tea and forest berry blend. I would advise against any tea that you happen to find provided here for general consumption, if you have not already discovered its sub-par tendencies. Your tastes may vary, of course."

As she spoke, she shifted to place her bag in her lap, and began to methodically remove all of the contents: two teacups, two saucers, a tin of loose leaf tea, a thermos of hot water, and a handful of prepackaged sugar and honey.
