Considering the realm he was currently eying, Antarmur'ss had a great deal of hesitation in approaching. Oh no. no no. He did manifest a whisp of darkness outside the border. Something that looked more like a piece of mist with tiny purple eyes. The waifish little sliver wriggled around the very edge of Solaris claimed territory. It paced back and forth slowly with a restless hesitation. Though finally a soft voice called out from it. "Solaris. I call upon you. Come speak with me." Antarmur'ss spoke through his manifestation, then waited to see if he'd gain any sort of response.

Solaris heard the call of his name from the edge of his territory. He didn't even hesitate for a moment and appeared in a ball of flame before the shadowy wisp with bright purple eyes. Mithraz stood dutifully beside him. Solaris blinked his bright green eyes and stared down at the thing more with curiosity than anything else. The little shadowy thing seemed as if on the verger of vanishing at any moment. Though for something of shadow his bright, sunny realm wasn't an ideal habitat. Tilting his head he smiled and spoke. "I am Solaris Hyperion. I have heard your call, of what do you wish to speak?" He had a pretty good guess that the manifestation belonged to the god of Darkness, which only made him all the more curious as to why he wished to speak with him. Mithraz simply stared intensely, though not hostilely, at the thin shadow.

The appearance of the ball of falem had the shadow whisp fading enough that Antarmur'ss nearly lost it entirely. He withdrew it from the point of the flame, despite the fact it was no longer burning after serving it's purpose of transporting Solaris and one of his cat creatures. Had the whisp enough of a form, this was where Antar would have made it bow. As it was, it merely bobbed the little pointed top of it's body at Solaris before Antarmur'ss spoke through it. "I am Antarmur'ss. I am using this shadow to act as a medium to meet with you, as I am sure you have already deducted." He added with a small pause following. "I wish to speak with you upon the matter of the Cursed. I know that by now many have heard the rumblings of war within my domain. However I am not certain if the gravity of the situation is known or clearly understood by what other gods are currently unaffected. It is this matter I have come to speak to you about Solaris."

Solaris crouched down to look closer at the fluctuating shadow, staring in his continued curiosity. He wondered if he could do something similar with fire or a beam of light, as he had never tried before. He listened and heard what Antar was saying through the thin shade, despite the fact he seemed more concerned with shadow. After Antar had finished speaking Solaris rolled back onto his heels and smiled warmly. "I would like to meet you face to face, Antarmur'ss." He said seeming more interested in just seeing him than pursuing serious talk about the war he had heard about. Though despite his lax attitude, he wished to learn more about both Antar and this war. But he felt that this discussion shouldn't be held openly on his borders, but should rather take place in a location where both he and Antar could feel more comfortable. However, none of this inner thinking could be spotted through his almost childlike joy and curiosity.

Antarmur'ss himself was currently sitting within one of his private rooms upon a obsidian throne. A large oval black mirror made of shadow hung suspended before him as he leaned on a elbow and peered into the mirror. When Solaris leaned down to get a closer look at the whisp, his face loomed up so big in the mirror that Antarmur'ss literally leaned back in his throne. His tail flicked and the mirror drifted back a foot before he replied through his manipulation. "I suppose your desire is not a unfounded one. Where would you propose that we meet Solaris? I admit I am not so inclined to wander into a home such as yours, and mine is currently under siege. Not the safest place for a guest to be visiting you know."

Solaris rose to his feet and swished his tail as he would lift and hand to stroke his chin in thought. Then he had a eureka moment and his green eyes twinkled. "There is a small cave behind a beautiful waterfall nearby, it should work well, I think." He said with a happy note in his words and offering a closed eyed smile. It seemed like a wonderful place outside both territories and should provide enough darkness for Antarmur'ss. "It's just beyond those trees there." He indicated a lush treeline not far off. Solaris took flight, Mithraz in tow, without even waiting for Antar to confirm the location sounded suitable. Swooping over the trees a mountainside was revealed with a tall waterfall freely flowing from the cliff face. The fall fell into a basin and winded through the trees below. Solaris smiled happily and made straight for the falls. About a third of the way down from the top of the falls Solaris slipped sideways behind the flowing water and into the cavern beyond. He landed on to cold stone as Mithraz came in behind to join him. The only light was sunlight that made it's way through the flow of water.

"Synraehl give me strength." Antarmur'ss muttered at the chipper..no..the bright response he received from Solaris. However he did not have a chance to agree, or decline his suggestion. Of course it was a good one. Antarmur'ss let the whisp fade away in the present sunlight and turned his attention to the cave. A place similar enough to his own domain that he felt a bit more comfortable there. He called the shadows in the back of the cave forth, twisting them into the shape of a unadorned doorway through which he merely, but cautiously stepped. He did not dismiss the archway upon his arrival. Instead he exerted his power to keep it in existence as he turned to look over Solaris with a slow gaze. "My but aren't you...vibrant." He mused before tilting his horned head at the birdlike god. "So then. Here we are to speak.. Shall I go first or would you like to?"

Solaris watched the shadowy doorway open at the back of the cave with a look of awe on his bright face. It was amazing and utterly fascinating that he could move through the shadows like that. He somewhat snapped back to reality as Antar spoke. The words taken as a full on compliment he beamed with a happy, closed eyed smile. "Why thank you." He responded cheerily as he them gave Antar a proper look over. He had a rather dark and impressive form, one that suited one of Darkness, or at least Solaris thought so. He blinked and swished his golden tail as Antar moved right on to business, almost as if he had totally forgotten why they where even meeting in the first place. He smiled warmly as he replied. "If you would not mind terribly, I would like to know more about this war." His tone ever so slightly more mellow, but still held a note of bright curiosity. He would them calmly proceed to sit himself casually down on the floor with the waterfall to his back. Mithraz would lie down behind his lord and friend to let him have his meeting in peace.

Antarmur'ss watched as Solaris and his protector, as that was what he assumed the present hound was, sat on the floor of the cave. He elected to remain standing. Under normal circumstances he would have crafted him a suitable seat to rest on. Yet with the stretching of his powers to not only keep his doorway open and ready for a swift retreat, but also keeping a eye on his city, his camp, his children, his lovers...it was all a bit taxing. "I believe the war is fairly straightforward Solaris." He began with a casual tone , so as to better hide his current frustration over the course of the war. "Many of the Cursed so called gods have grouped together to attack me. As I was their strongest foe in their first war, so I have become their target in this. They found a way through my hidden roads and managed to reach the guardian temple that once stood over the roadway directly to my city. They obliterated this temple, a gift I had created for one of my demigods that had become quite dear to me. Then they have pressed on towards my city itself. They have captured two of my children already and a third now is inflicted with some curse from the one called Warrior. I have been fortunate my two children were rescued but that hardly means they will not try again. Lukarius has stood with me from the start, and Synraehl has given her aid to me. I am asking aid from you now. Will you send some of your followers to help defend the home of my followers from suffering the same fate as my demigods home?"

Solaris watched Antar closely as he listened to what he had to say. He absorbed the information and as he continued to hear him out he pondered many things that came to mind. His expression becoming ever so slightly more thoughtful and serious. Straight forwards as it may seem to Antar, Solaris saw it as a much more complicated situation. Not necessarily in a bad way, but to him things where not so cut and dry. As Antar finished speaking Solaris was unusually quiet for several long moments as he contemplated things in his head. Then his expression became soft, and his eyes held a glimmer of compassion. But even as he spoke, he was not yet ready to commit. He had a few more things he wished to know. "Anatrmur'ss, before I make my decision I would like to ask of you a few questions." His tone still bright, but it held a slight serious note that he normally did not have. "I have heard rumor that you have attacked, turned on, or enraged other gods. Now I do not presume to know or understand the circumstances, however, I would like to inquire that if what I have heard is true what is it that sets you apart from the cursed?" His clam words were not meant to attack or be derogatory. Solaris simply wished to see what Antar defined as the difference between himself, an evil aligned god, and a cursed god. For he had just refereed to the cursed deities as so-called gods and he genuinely wanted to hear why they where not gods in his eyes, while he remained one in spite of stepping over boundaries and harming or threatening those that should be his fellows. His countenance surprising calm, serine, and almost seeming wise.

It was hard to describe Antarmur'ss response other then guarded. His body tensed and his arms crossed over his chest. His lips set in a firm line under eyes that very nearly took on a hostile light. "It is, of course, your right to ask what you wish." Was his first clipped response. His posture hardly relaxed any when Solaris continued on. "Would I be correct in assuming you speak of the events that led to the second war?" He asked without so much as a twitch of his tail. "I also assume that some of these rumors fail to mention that I had merely been standing by, watching as Venezia toyed with a cursed. A cursed he threw at me. A cursed he later joined forces with to attack me and my people?" He asked with a tilt of his head. "I did indeed flick a dagger at him. A small paltry thing that was meant more to be an extension of my annoyance then an actual attack. I do believe what he threw at me was a hundred times more dangerous would you not agree?"

Solaris blinked, actually a bit surprised by the response. He lifted a hand to his mouth to stop himself from laughing outright at the mental image of Venezia tossing a cursed at Antar. He cleared his throat to regain some of his composure. "I suppose rumor should not be taken as fact, for I did not know that. So I shall not presume who did worse to whom." He replied calmly before he would lean back, bracing himself with his hands. "Though it is so sad that the Cursed Gods seem to work together better than the rest of us." He mused softly as he stared at the cave's ceiling for a moment. Pulling himself back upright he looked back to the stiff form of the darkness god. He wondered if it would be possible for all the gods and goddesses to work together. Focusing his mind back to the task at hand he posed another question, seemingly unrelated. "How do you feel about Cursed or those that would mingle or sympathize with them?" His tone curious, wishing to know how Antar felt about them in general. Solaris was already leaning one way close to his decision. And though his question may have seemed odd it was likely to tip the scale one way or another.

Antarmur'ss tried to relax, but he could not manage to unknot the muscles currently tensed up all along his spine. He kept his purple eyes fixed on Solaris while the other seemed to sort of be in thought. He managed to sweep his tail slowly behind him, the furred tip drifting across the stone floor as he muttered under his breath. "With a group as diverse as ourselves I do not believe complete unity can be achieved. The best we can hope for is a existence where we aren't trying to kill each other, and to be happy with the circle of friends we can establish." He stopped and tilted his head when Solaris asked him a question he honestly thought everyone knew the answer to. Then again, with his current situation with Synraehl, he supposed that could be questioned now. "I feel the Cursed are nothing more then a sickened version of us. I think their gods are false. Created to fill the void in the lives of the cursed that we represent within the lives of our followers. They are filled with vicious corruption and nothing more then hatred for us, so these supposed gods have risen. To give them focus in their desire to destroy all that we Gods hold dear and protect. I believe those who would mingle and side with the Cursed are fools, they are being misled and will in due time become one of their number. Those who sympathize..I suppose they are just fools who are too soft hearted to realize the danger they face. The world is full of them, and at times I suppose that's a fine thing. It's where we get good Samaritans from after all, right? So they can have their thoughts and warm squishy hearts so long as they do not endanger my other followers or my family."

Antar's comment on his musing seemed to resonate a reality that Solaris couldn't help but feel was unfair. In spite of his naive notions that all should be able to overcome their differences, he knew such things were not reality. At least there would always be those who do get along, no matter the odds. So Solaris still had hope. However, at the moment he was much more focused on hearing Antar's answer. He knew the general view gods had of cursed, even he himself had to find a line somewhere to protect that which he loved. But that didn't stop him from being one of those squishy hearts, as Antar had put it, and feel bad for those afflicted by the cursed. He held nothing against Antarmur'ss for where his opinion differed from his own. He still had to literally bite his tongue to keep himself from spouting his thoughts, feelings, and desires concerning the Cursed. Now was not the time to have such a discussion and with the cursed currently laying siege to Antarmur'ss realm he was not likely to listen anyway. Solaris rose, his tail swishing behind him as he did. He seemed to take on a suddenly regal and almost wise appearance as he began to speak. "Antarmur'ss, god of Darkness, I may not agree completely with you on many matters, but all it takes is one common interest for two pockettu to come together." His green eyes sparkled as he continued. "I feel your devotion to protect those you love, even to the point of pushing yourself to your limits and when that is still not enough you would fall to your knees and beg of your worst enemies for their sake. I share this same deep devotion for those in my care." He paused, hoping he was not being too presumptuous to state what he had felt and noticed about Antar. "I would wish no ill on you nor your followers, by any hand. It would appear that the cursed seek your utter destruction, I cannot in good conscience deny what little help I can provide. You have humbly sought me out, humored me, and seek only to protect that which is dear to you." He paused, stepping across the cave he extended a hand. "You have my support in this war, Antarmur'ss. My children may be few in number and may not be the most proficient in battle, but those of them that wish to help shall be one your side." He offered a bright and genuine closed eyed smile.

When Solaris chose to rise, Antarmur'ss took a slight step back towards his archway in expectation of a quick departure. "Well I...would not go so far as to say I would fall to my knees and beg..." He trailed off with a clearly baffled expression on his face. His purple eyes drifted downwards to the hand that was so readily offered to him by the sun god. Antar did not react for a moment, then with a cautiousness of a man about to pick up a live hot coal from a furnace, he reached out to take Solaris' offered hand. "I am grateful for what aid you may offer me Solaris. If it is agreeable to you, I will fix the opening of a Umbra road here in this cave, so any of your followers who wish to fight may be able to travel directly to my city. I will have Shades present to direct them to the barracks or medical tent. Whichever they may wish to choose to work within. Please, ensure they all wear their holy symbols openly, so my Darkbeasts will not mistake them for spies and attempt to harm them. They are simple minded beasts and I have not had the focus to keep them all under surveillance during this war."
