Think of it this way -- sometimes we just need to step back, take a breather, and refocus. It actually makes us more productive in the long run, since stress will stop the flow of inspiration and dry out your creativity and motivation. (Plus, if it works out, we can totally pass the 'mix tape' around during the event to help get people in a party mood. 3nodding ) Also NGL, I was considering Come Sail Away for the Zurg saga (because of those lyrics "I thought that they were angels, but to my surprise / They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies") but felt like ELO was a better place to start for the Zurg. They've got that fun, upbeat, retro-future sound, you know? But it definitely works for Frontier Skies too. I'm adding all these in, thanks for the suggestions!

I had given myself an hour to do Gaia stuff before I had to get to doing some stuff around the house and I still haven't done that far after my timer went off. xp
The whole Angels part in Come Sail Away works for the fact that Sen and Marius are actually demigods.
Okay one more suggestion that I swear works best for the holiday I'm pegging it to because of the plot for the manga. It's just too perfect for it. xp

I guess I have it easier, my timer is other people in the house. And animals. Hungry animals. Also ffffff, you had to link the Dancing Groot video, didn't you? I can't say no to Groot. heart Also, uh. Wow, that was strange. For some reason, the w.cdn.gaiaonline.com images weren't loading for me, meaning half the newsroom was just... broken. Weird!

Aww nuts I thought I was linking to the actual J5 performance from their Goin' Back to Indiana special as so not to spoil the mid credits part from Guardians. Plus, I wanted to see what your reaction would be to the outfits they wore for that thing. xp

I suppose Bad Moon Rising is too obvious for Moonrise? (Also I feel like there should be a lot of appropriate David Bowie, and maybe some Iggy Pop, but I'm blanking.)

Throwing it in anyway. cool I spent a good hour looking through Bowie songs, and couldn't decide on one. He has too many!

Woo! Love that playlist.
I too enjoyed the GotG soundtrack. Made an Awesome Mix station on Pandora using all the artists from the soundtrack as station seeds. XD

I'm a bit surprised you haven't got Spirit in the Sky on your list. Sure, our god in the sky turned out to be...well...not exactly as expected--but at least it definitely is in the sky. And spoilage is pretty much where you go when you die.... People are Strange could fit pretty much any Halloween event tie-in, really. I like it best for grombies, though. [Edit: there's also Harry Belafonte's Zombie Jamboree, but that might be a little too much of a golden oldie.]
