It was an unwise creature indeed that goaded the Dark Fayth into a fury. Considering his temper was foul even at the best of times, deliberately needling him into a fury was inadvisable and bordered on suicidal. Aveshar stretched his neck in a vain attempt to relieve some of the tension in the muscles. While there was a satisfying resulting pop and a brief spike of heat, he was overall unaffected. Stretching wings back and dropping his head low, the Kalona stallion gave a low growl as the twinging pain refused to abate. Well that was just glorious... As if his mood needed such improvement.
With another low snarl the Kalona stallion launched himself skyward. Perhaps exercise would work off some of the energy and improve his temper, though he rather doubted it. Family issues were rarely so easily solved, and his skull was still aching from previous arguments with his offspring. On the one hoof he was unaccountably proud, for there was no doubt where that attitude and their thick skulls had come from... On the other it was quite annoying that they dared to argue.
'So then, it is true what they say... There is no pleasing you.' A voice noticed with amusement, and Aveshar snarled it into silence. On occasion he was pleased, and could even approached entertained or delighted. True enough they were rare occasions, but they had occurred.
Of course he kept things that pleased him, and that was why he had such a collection of lovelies throughout the land... Perhaps he would seek to add to that today, it had been some time since he'd picked up a new dove... But something a little more temperamental than a simple dove, given his current mood. Spying a glitter of movement in the woods below, Aveshar spiraled down to a landing in a nearby meadow, head up and eyes glittering as he waited to see what the source of the disturbance was.
If he was right, he had just found the most entertaining diversion.
