Sun high in the sky, a soft breeze blowing and moderate temperatures. All of it combined to make a lovely day most pae would enjoy. So why was it that a brilliantly blue pae seemed so depressed on that day? Could it have been the fact that he hadn't convinced himself to leave his home for many seasons? Probably. It could also have been his terrible luck with finding so much as a friend. With a sigh, Yukio ran a hand through his brown hair. He was surprised to have realized he hadn't lost any color hiding in his cave for so long.
But it was time for him to get out. The angel had made his way out and into the nearby forest. Or had he made his home inside the forest? He couldn't remember. Everything had been so close for so long he hadn't needed to think about it, or really even venture out. He seemed to recall a pae he could call cousin, but that was so many years ago. Was that pae around still? He scratched his head, walking almost blindly towards a river. First thing was first, a hair cut and a bath. He had a sharp knife with him, but there was bound to be standing water where he could cut his hair from whatever tangled mess was up there. But a bath. He stunk something fierce. It was probably why no pae would come near him. Or was it because he was just generally unaccepted?
Another shake of his head, Yukio splashed in some water and blinked. Okay, that was... Easier than he thought. Shrugging, the blue angel plopped himself down in the middle of the water and proceeded to rinse off his limbs.
