The field was awash with an assortment of pink, violet, and yellow summer wildflowers being tossed in the light breeze. Birds picked among the grasses for their midmorning meal. Rabbits and mice scurried along, focused on their daily business. Butterflies flittered from bloom to bloom.

A loud sneeze followed by a thump and "Oomph" of discontent shook the serenity. Holly Dash sat squarely on her bum. Ugh, allergies, she thought to herself. She could feel the familiar tickle well up again despite her furious nose scrunches.

ACHOO!

The pink faun sniffled and flipped her mane out of her face. Her blue eyes watered and itched. "Nature!" she bellowed miserably. Pushing up onto her hooves again, she looked around for her basket. It had skidded a few feet away from her. The tip of her horn began to glow as she caused the basket to levitate and come toward her.

She rifled through the basket for a handkerchief as she sat down on a fallen log just out of the treeline. Holly had no idea when she left on this adventure that the pollen would so affect her. "I guess I'm just pampered," she told a little bird hopping nearby. The bird chirped as if to say "Leave my worms alone, heifer."
