which means OODLES OF POSSIBILITIES
Please share your ideas here for making the guild easier to navigate/organize/ect

Here's an idea that popped up because of things discussed in the public forums thread. What about having a thread were people can list up any OCs they made specifically for Gaia, some brief information about them like town or group affiliations, and what inspired us to make them (IE what part of the plot were they created for). It could be another way to show why the plot is important to us.

It could be another way to show why the plot is important to us.

That sounds fun! I have a friend who's since left the site to tackle the real world who was a huge Bleach fan at the time I first really got to know her (she's the reason I'm still here on Gaia after I came back to the site in 2007) and she found a way to connect her love for Bleach to the Gaia world by working out a way to have the dimension her fan character lived in somehow be breached into the Gaian world. She loved the plot and anything that had to do with expanding the world of Gaia and it was partly because of her I poured so much into creating Porta Denia and the background for the GCA. It's things like that we should highlighting when it comes to OCs for Gaia, how the Gaian world makes it possible to create just about any being out there and have them fit in with this wacky world because of certain plot arcs. For example, because of the Zurg plot, the Star people, and Flynn being booted out into space you can be an alien of any type because more than just the Zurg would have known about Gaia.

For me, Alchemy & Faunzy's flute was where I started cementing Slick's Gaian roots.

We can also have a standard form to make it easy for people to submit links to Gaian OC Profiles/descriptions ect, so it's not blocks and blocks of text. Sorta like a quick few lines of description, character image maybe, and username.

People might start quoting others with questions about the guild and threads and it would be hard to hunt down posts about the actual guilds. surprised
