 ::Warrior was scouting the field when she came across Diesel's scythe. Landing beside it, she'd stare a moment... Her crimson eyes getting darker and darker as the moments passed. Lifting the weapon out of the dirt... she'd growl and take off leaping to the only place he could be to leave his weapon behind like that.
She was a dark blur as she raced to the camp of the Darkness God and his Allies, finding the place where her blessed child was held she'd lock on to the first Darkness follower that she would find. That just so happened to be Zak that she would land before, her heeled boots grinding up the stone as she'd glower down at him... "Surrender... and I will spare you..." she'd speak in a deadly calm voice.. "Return my follower to me... and I will not tear you limb from limb." She'd give him a warning blow, blade whistling at his smaller form to knock him with the flat of her blade almost as if he were a golf ball. ::

 HP: 16 Guard duty was not the most active job, but it kept Zak away from the battle grounds and the possibility of being beaten all to hell again. Like in the first war. he enjoyed his lazy post. Even if he had to watch some freaky cursed now. it wasn't like he had anything else to do right now. When Warrior landed, Zakn'ryn peered up at her with a disbelieving expression. Surely he was hallucinating!? Maybe there had been something in that darkberry mead he'd had for lunch. No matter his wonders at seeing things, the reality of it struck him hard enough to send him rolling horn over hoof into one of the empty cages. Shaking his head he staggered to his feet. Zak held his hand out to his side, and a black staff of darkness bloomed into existence. A purple gem crystallized on the head, giving the priestly staff a pointed tip. "Enemy of the Shadows! You will not take my Fathers prisoner!" He declared in a voice far more dramatic then it was confident as he attempted to lunge forwards and stab Warrior's...obscenely alluring belly.

::She did not move, that was why his pointed staff sunk so deep into her belly. She'd merely glower down at him... grasping the end of the staff that stuck out of her, she'd swing her sword at him again, this time viciously with the bladed edge. How dare he not surrender her blessed child to her! How dare HE deny HER! She'd growl low in her throat as she'd jerk the staff free... He would defend his father's prisoner... well then... so be it. ::

Zakn'ryn saw the blade of the sword coming towards him, and he released his hold on his staff. Thus allowing it to stay in warrior's grasp as he only half successfully avoided being cloven in half. Wincing as the blade scraped hard against his body, he made a gesture with his hand, and his staff melted into darkness, zipped across the distance between himself and Warrior, then reformed into his his waiting palm. In a flashy sort of flourish he spun about on one hoof in a slashing attack at Warrior.

:: Warrior would lean to one side, the staff grazing her lightly, barely scratching her dark skin, with a snarl she'd dash forward and strike rapidly at the Darkness child. His form so small that her huge blade would practically be the same size as he was. So the strokes were even quicker than normal for she did not have to cover as much body as his Father had. ::

Being smaller lent Zak a bit of a advantage as well. he was able to scoot nimbly out of the way of the blade just enough to keep him from receiving more then a cut. Wrinkling his nose he swung his staff again in a downwards slash at Warrior.

:: He ended up slashing open a wound in her hip. Her ruby eyes still glowering, she knew she was angry and she wasn't focused and this was much of her problem. She'd take a deep breath, trying to gain control of herself but it did not help. On the inside she was trembling with rage, she felt fire burning through her veins and her head felt as if it would split in an unending scream. But her lips merely frowned down at the other as she'd haul off and kick him with the leg that was on the same side that wound in her hip had been made. She wanted the child she had blessed back and she wanted him back -now-. ::

HP: 12Zakn'ryn kept his gaze focused on the form of Warrior. He didn't let himself think at all. He merely focused on acting. Reacting too. When Warrior lashed out with a kick at him, he skipped to one side, his hooves clicking over the stone as he skittered away from Warrior with just a little bit of a bruise. Well, more then a little bruise, but if he ignored it then he could move through the pain. Zakn'ryn's eyes narrowed as he lunged towards Warrior to stab her once more with his staff.

:: She growled at herself, she was not pleased with the way that she was handling this. To let one's emotions guide them was a mistake in battle. She -knew- this. But she was unable to help herself. She would have to work on it. The staff stuck in her side and she had to sigh, she wasn't doing very well at all and it was no one's fault but her own and the bedamned demi-god that took Diesel in the first place.... She'd lash out with the back of her hand at Zakn'ryn... Trying to become more focused on him and not what was racing through her head. ::

HP: 9With a crack Zakn'ryn stumbled away from Warrior and landed right on his a**. His jaw throbbed and the entire side of his face went from unpleasantly numb to a throbbing source of hot pain. Zak shook his head as he forced himself back to his feet. That blow had sent him reeling! Zak tried to get his sight to stop blurring by rapidly blinking his eyes. Then like a tenacious plant that just wouldn't be uprooted, he dashed towards the Goddess. He swung his staff low towards her knees instead of going for his typical slash or stab attack.

:: Instead of a blind rage... she'd stop and blink. Looking down at Zakn'ryn as if for the first time after that attack... "My, my.... you are your Father's son aren't you?..." She curled her lips into a pleased grin... she'd put her weapon away... no need for it, she wasn't thinking clearly enough for it apparently.... she'd go into a fighter's stance.. testing her knees.. oh they were sore! "Impressive... " she'd look at him with a calculating hungry gaze that many mistook for being sexual.... and then she'd lash out at him with fists and feet, one punch to the face, the other to the gut, one kick aimed for the chin before she'd end in a round house kick towards the side of his head. ::

HP: 6After striking Warrior, Zak gave a light little hop backwards in expectation of a quick retaliation. When it didn't come, he lifted his chin slightly with a proud gleam to his eyes. "I am his eldest son. I should hope so." He stated with a brashness. He did have another brother who could claim the same, as his father had declined to tell him who popped out of their capsule first. Posed as he was, Zakn'ryn was able to dodge the punch to his face. But the expression on Warriors face was..disconcerting to say the least. It threw him off enough that he took the following three hits in succession. At the end, the kick sent him crashing to the ground once more. Zak's head was spinning as he rose to his hooves again. Far more slowly though. He pushed his staff into the stone to help rise. Tenacious. Yes. So very tenacious as he moved towards Warrior. He didn't have much strength left, but he kept pushing himself. Spinning the staff between his hands. He attempted a series of small quick whacks at Warriors feet and knees both.

:: She blocked two of the strikes that went for her feet and legs, that grin still on her lips as she peer down at him. "Eldest...." the way she said it would not sit well with anyone that it had been spoken too, much less the child of her mortal enemy... "really..." again with that inflection... she'd chop a hand at his throat, whirl around him on those slender legs, lash one out at his knee, the other towards his side and ended with a vicious uppercut to the chin.. ::

HP: 5Zakn'ryn did not like the way this Goddess spoke. He did not like how she looked at him. He narrowed his eyes at her as he went onto the defensive. Just in time it would seem. He jerked his head back, then in almost perfect timing he managed to hop upwards and over the leg that lashed out at his knee. He landed on the ground and dropped to his belly to avoud the lash to his side. Zak pushed himself to his hooves, but Warrior's last blow landed nice and hard on his chin. His head snapped back hard enough to crack, and he staggered back while tasting blood from his bitten tongue. Zak did not give himself a moment to sway and recover before he launched himself at Warrior. With his head still spinning he stabbed his staff at Warriors belly once more. Flipping it up he attempted to slash it across her left side. He spun his staff over the back of his shoulders and whipped it down towards her left knee before bracing it against his left hip and jerking it up to try and crack Warrior in her own chin.

:: The first born son of Antarmur'ss... she' grinned ferally, not even caring that her strikes did not hit home, she could wear him down, that was simple enough. He looked very close to falling over anyway. Her feet lashed out at him, kicking towards his belly with one, she'd propel herself higher to swing the other at his head, flipping back as his staff scored her side. She was moving so quickly that, that was the only strike he would land upon her as she'd go into a one legged crouch and attempt to sweep his legs out from under him, a moment later she was driving forward with her horned head towards his belly, or face if he'd actually started to fall from the leg sweep. ::
