"... I used to be Realgar."
"you have the right to choose. Go. Think. Find me when you want to know more"

"Realgar, yeah. That was his Negaverse name"

After Babylon's generosity and Mistral's gentle help in checking him for a concussion, it seemed foolish to not at least check on the information that he'd acquired. The names were scrawled in his poor handwriting in a pocket notepad-
Bull of Mars, R-E-A-L-G-A-R
Mistral
Dog
Babylon

At least as a Captain of the SpecOps, he had clearances to commandeer the time of an Infos to help him find what was available. The Little Lieutenant had needed a ride to the Dark Kingdom and the weird crystal computers, the other files and the other Captains and Generals who did the job of sorting, collating, notating and evaluating every scrap of Intel that came in on the war efforts. Titan didn't mind and stood patiently, unmovingly, at a rested attention.

Alkahest came back with her own scratchpad and pen, clicking the back of it nervously in an out. "I've found some, Captain...were you..ready?"

"Ja, please." He tried to give a warm smile to put her at ease. Her eyes just kept slinking to his hands or to the skull on his shoulder. Does she think I'm going to break hers and make a piece of armor out of it? Good grief, why? She's been very obedient.

In fact, she was so nervous she squeaked instead of speaking for a few moments, then just held out her notepad to him at full extension. She nearly dropped it between them as he reached for it, and ran away beyond some of the other officers. Titan heaved a long sigh, catching the pad. Maybe I will go find someplace to read this. There are benches. There is no reason to call her back. Then she'd soil herself.

Still, he looked over sheets of written notes as he walked, too interested to wait until he was actually sitting. He didn't run into anyone in the hall, which was just as well since it woudl have been literal.

There were scribbles of known engagements that pointed towards a loose canon image - taking on a prince as a lieutenant among them. Titan massaged his chin while he reviewed it. There wasn't much reporting the man missing. There was a notation that Realgar 'vanished' as reported from another officer, Alkahest didn't note who, but no information why. Had someone checked Realgar's house and not found him? Maybe the captain hadn't reported for quotas or duty summaries to his commanding generals? More importantly, no intel looked present that Realgar was now a knight and his aura altered to that of the enemy.

Did Alkahest not have clearance? Someone MUST know, like the Konge? The generals? Maybe that kind of information isn't kept in the regular file? Maybe it is recent and the Intel not yet known? It doesn't say if there have been any wider searches. Or the address he kept. Or family.

Family...

It finally dawned. While Titan kept his service and civilian lives separate, that didn't mean that there wasn't a file exactly like this one on himself. What would it even read? Annbjørg's name as his mother...the addresses they lived? What about his family overseas? Did the path of information go so far? Surely they knew he had a live in boyfriend as well as was rooming with a Dark Mirror Eternal.

But where is that information on ...Falco Marks. A name can provide a lot. He might be in the phone book. Might have had a computer and website things like facebook or email. Maybe there is family searching for him. He must not be going by the same name anymore. How did they find Lina when they took her back? Was the information on her available? The captain stilled, leaning against one of the dark walls and out of the direct path of walking. Not that there was anyone else present to make way for. Everything was quiet except for the ambient, usual sounds of moisture shift and crystal hum. The pad of paper lowered to rest on his thigh. Who would I even ask about that sort of thing? Zinkenite was pretty busy the one time I did talk to him. Benitoite is a part of the GenOps. The roster lists are pretty out of use, last I looked.

And if he was reported missing, why wasn't it brought to the attention of the SpecOps immediately? We're supposed to protect our own, and would be the ones sent to look for him if he was captured or in trouble. Or if he was a traitor. If he's a knight now, that makes him a traitor to the Queen, doesn't it? If there hasn't been an order made out to look for him, do I have the authority to make one as a captain? Should I? Wolframite isn't a General anymore, but...well he hasn't lost what he knows, even if he's lost rank. I should ask him what he would do. What he would suggest. I need to talk to a General about this...and he's all I know. Obsidian..

There was no realy going to Obsidian with any problem. Going to Obsidian created problems, not solved them.
