By now this had to be getting old to everyone. It was certainly taking a toll on her own mind, not knowing where she belonged or why. She just wanted to find that piece that was missing, hollowed out by Chaos when they stole her from her family and friends. Now she was playing two roles, willing Negaverse spy and the willing former friend of a Knight.
-sigh-
Things did not appear to be getting any easier. Who said that they would if she, as Newgrange suggested, purified?
Sherwood walked through the darkened side streets of Destiny City in her uniform kicking a can she came across. Her hands would have been in her pockets if she had any but for now her bow was slung harmlessly over her shoulder and she was studied the passing sidewalk as if it had the answers she was looking for. She'd spent a lot of nights when not on assignment like this, walking and thinking, pondering her options. Tonight she wasn't meeting Newgrange so she had to find something else to occupy her time.
Cause brooding was definitely getting her somewhere...

The first time had been an accident. Helicon in all his wanderings hadn’t been to Destiny City in years so when he had found himself on the wrong side of city limits with no idea how he managed it was an obvious conundrum that had needed help to run back and discover Order HQ and the Oasis. Now he was back again, deliberately. He was flailing through a supply run and so far had been doing excessively badly at it as he darted all over the city frantically playing what he was sure was the worst version of Frogger ever.
He had dropped his loot a while back and was mostly focusing on getting out of the city unseen and alive.
He failed the ‘unseen’ part soon enough as the frantic Mercury knight skid to a stop on his boots as he almost shot out of an alleyway right into Sherwood. He was already unsteady, but when her chaotic aura hit him he fell backwards on his a** and threw his arms straight up in the air.
“Don’t shoot!” He honked, and then paused, “Or, you know, whatever it is you do.” Cultural overhang from a simpler time when cops were cops and not corrupted agents of chaos.
Arms still in the air in a position of surrender, he managed a silly shrugging motion to go with it. She didn’t look the bloodthirsty type to him, but chaos usually implied that of everyone in spite of appearances.

Out of instinct and out of hand feeling an Order aura brought her bow out with an arrow nocked and pulled, ready to fly at a moment's notice. She narrowed her eyes at the invading presence and pulled a little tighter to send the missile flying faster toward its target, should she so choose. She didn't let it go just yet, a really bad habit she'd picked up from talking to Newgrange so often these nights. Only, this aura didn't feel exactly like his so she was immediately distrustful.
"Shoot is accurate," she assured, though needlessly so.
His act of surrender didn't phase her. She knew knights could be dangerous no matter their position. They all possessed magic, weapons, though they seemed like watered down Negaverse agents to her. She had the power to be really effective with her bladed bow. Something for melee distance and something long ranged, so very well rounded.
"You really shouldn't blunder into where you don't belong. Our science department is just dying to get their hands on someone like you."
Knowing she was in danger from her other, as yet undiscovered, transgressions Sherwood was extra eager to show her loyalty in other ways to keep herself above reproach.
