We're looking to hire an Item Colorist! This position is something we'd like to try out, so we're going to call it temp-to-hire. We're not sure what the demand for unedited items is, especially if they're opened monthly, but we'd like to give it a spin! If you'd like to color templated items, set up a shop, and give some ponies a little pizazz, then this is the place for you!
It'll start out as a test position for a few months, and if there isn't a demand we'll either find you other work or we might let you go. Please enter with this understanding. :3

Item Colorist - 1 Temp to Full-Time Hire Position
This is a position to open up an item shop and sell soquili unedited items. These are not custom item slots, but the templated stock items. This position requires someone who is active in the shop, has time to open monthly slots, has basic coloring skills, and understands this is a customer service job. They must be able to handle a monthly workload, be timely in their dropping of items and certs, and have a photo editing program that allows them to open PSD files and works with layers.
Please note this position is sort of a test-only position. If it doesn't look like it's working out, or the shop owners don't feel the position is practical or needed, we can let you go at any time or find you other work, so the job might change. Please keep that in mind. We're hoping that won't be the case, but as we've never had an item-only colorist, it's a test-position.

I spend 95% of my gaia time in soquili, have found the community and staff to be really wonderful. I am always making an effort to stay up to date with the latest news, following the rules and find that I get along easily with most everyone I come across. =D Why do you think you'd be a good fit as a item colorist? Well, I very much enjoy coloring templates, but I don't have the required finesse for drawing edits. However I find I'm decent at making good color blends and pairings.

At the moment I'm busy with 2 jobs but since my afternoons during the week are spent resting and messing around on the computer I could knock out a few items and get in contact if need be. (Weekends are full till November.) When is the best time to get a hold of you? After 4:30pm EST weekdays till whenever I get tired. What timezone are you in? EST Have you worked in any shops before? I've been in and out of the Soquili shop for years. I've seen it grow and change over the years and I'm still in love with it. I'm also a very agreeable person and get along with people. I'm no stranger to retail and customer service jobs so I know how to deal with working with people. I've always wanted to be a part of the shop itself. It's kinda my dream breedable shop to work for. I love to color but sometimes my muse for elaborate designs eludes me so coloring just items instead of a pet with possible multiple stages is a good place to start.

If Not, would you be willing to get AIM? N/A What's your availability like? My schedule at the moment is completely open and thus I have a lot of time to take on fairly full work loads. When I'm not doing errands I spend all my free time on the web and always look to help somebody in some way. When is the best time to get a hold of you? Whenever you see me logged in on AIM. There is no real wrong time to approach me. Unless I'm logged off, of course. I am willing to hand out my cellphone number to co-workers just in case I need to be reached while not online. I have previously worked in a handful of Mini Shops around Gaia. Mainly Pet Shops.
